Decent food with a good amount of options for you to change dishes to your liking. We started with mozzarella sticks and southwestern egg rolls for appetizers. Both were good but my favorite thing was probably the french fries. I didn't love the Alfredo so maybe try meatballs. We came early on a Saturday so it wasn't too busy. The inside was pretty warm and cramped, though. The parking situation outside isn't much better so you might need to park closer to the road when it's busier. read more

As always Gina's on the West side of Hamilton was full on a Saturday evening but we didn't wait long. There is a reason why it's always busy and not just on weekends but every night. Gina's is delicious and also the best Italian restaurant in town. My wife ordered the Italian steak sandwich, which I had a bite of and I will tell you it was very good. I was in the mood for pizza when I usually order an entrée. Of course I got the house saled as did my wife and their Italian dressing always hits the spot. I was going to order a 7 inch pizza but my wife said go ahead and get the 14 and she will have some so we did. As always, I ordered my go to which is pepperoni and sausage. When it came out, it looked delicious and was piping hot so I let it cool a few minutes and dug right in. I have never had their pizza before because like I said, I usually order an entrée however one bite and I became a true believer in their pizza. I am going to call this the second best pizza in Hamilton right behind Chester's. The pepperoni was flavorful. The Italian sausage was on spot for flavor, there was plenty of cheese and a thin crust with a light brown bottom. Service as always was wonderful and I don't remember when it wasn't. I ordered carry out tonight and I loved it. I personally got the spaghetti and meatballs, and my sister got the cheese manicotti. I thought those were good. The garlic bread that went along with was pretty solid as well. I devoured the fried ravioli. Let's just say that it didn't last very long. I definitely will be back. Every once it a while you find yourself a foodie hidden gem , and this my friends was it for me! The wife and I had a craving for a good pizza and decided to give Gina's a chance. Now if you knew my wife you would know she is a sucker for a spaghetti pizza. Only thing is they didn't have a spaghetti pizza on their menu! Well these Angels, I call them angels because they are doing the Lord's work, offered to put one together one for us. I've been to many pizza joints eating spaghetti pizza along side her and from her mouth this was "THE BEST" she has ever had hands down.! It's just a little bar tucked back behind some buildings. Went today for lunch and to meet some friends from Hamilton. Tried the steak sandwich with mushrooms ,mushroom sauce,onions and cheese. Sandwich was tasty. Also got onion rings and they were eh ok Probably the best bun of any steak sandwich I've had from any other of the local establishments. Waitress was great. Checked back often but wasn't a bother. This is a great place to get some really good Italian food. It's a little bit noisy and crowded in the evenings but you take the good with the bad. The Bavarian pretzels were fantastic, and the cheese sauce was off the hook. I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was good. It's an Italian Tavern! It has been so long since I've been at an Italian Tavern. They are rare gems and even more so in this part of the country. I usually hesitate giving 5 stars on one visit but everything was great - and, it's an Italian tavern. Atmosphere at lunchtime was lively and loud, there was a baseball game on TV, two waitresses were bustling around to serve the many guests. My waitress was Tammy, and it was her 2nd day at Gina's. It was my first so we got along just fine. I felt very welcome. Tammy was prompt, friendly and helpful. I had the lunch lasagna which was delicious and a perfect portion. It had plenty of bubbly melted mozzarella on top. I was glad I didn't opt for extra as it was just right. Came with a nice slice of garlic bread. I got the 3-piece haddock dinner to go, to heat up for supper. Delicious. Nice fresh filets with a light breading that I think was cornmeal-based. Anyway far superior to typical fried fish breading. The homemade coleslaw was excellent, crispy and slightly sweet and it had green peppers in it. This was on the Lenten menu and I sure hope I can get something like it on my next visit. Stopped by late one night looking for somewhere a little nicer than white castle for some food. Got a couple of really good meatball sliders and a drink for a decent price. Bar is a dive, and the staff is really great. Patio out front looked nice, I bet that's great on a nice day, too. read more

We had seen the restaurant on YouTube and I took my wife to lunch, all the items were from the lunch menu. Half a Steak Hoagie: It was ordered with mushroom sauce which had no flavor of mushrooms at all. The onion overpowered tasting much of anything else. The hoagie roll was the star of the sandwich. The onion rings even though frozen (yes we asked) were pretty good. 7" (not 17" like the menu shows): It was a sausage and pepperoni. It was a disaster, I didn't ask but there are far superior frozen pizzas available at any grocery store. Half a Bacon Double Decker: Ok, a lot of bread that detracted. Mac and cheese the pasta was cooked perfectly, not a lot of cheese other than what was on top, portion was huge. Boneless Wings: The chicken was excellent, I asked for the homemade sauce that was a salt bomb. It was crowded and we had to sit at a high top or wait for an undetermined time. The chairs at the high tops were torture devices. The four toppers were jammed together, not an inviting atmosphere. Disappointed. read more

Sat outside and was perfect. Great table on the sun on Saturday. Food menu is a little limited for lunch but 4 of the 5 of us had the Cripy Chicken sandwich. It was more like an Italian quesadilla with amazing bread, spinach, cheese and aoli sauce and cooked-perfectly chicken cutlets ! Portions were amazing and came with a side salad. Went here on a Friday evening and as expected the place was packed but we where able to get a table with no wait. It was very noisy but as crowded as it was that could be expected. The food was excellent and plenty of it at a reasonable price. The service was also excellent. We will return but not on a Friday night. Hard to find any better food - but Gina's is also hard to find. It sits back behind other businesses. The little sandwich board sign sitting near the street is a highly stylized version of the name. I admit, I couldn't read it. Both my gps and my friend's description told me I had "arrived at your destination" and I still didn't see it until I drove past it 4 times. Well, the food was absolutely worth the search. I had a pizza and a salad for lunch. Both were outstanding. Service was friendly and efficient. Gina's is simply fantastic. It is very much a local spot but is definitely some place everyone needs to try. The staff is just amazing. It's a legit a family owned and operated business. Gina (the owner) and Nancy (her sister) are there all the time and are fantastic. Carrie is our regular waitress and she's phenomenal. The food, OMG, mind blowing. I have never had anything there that hasn't been out of this world. The meat balls are considered an appetizer but can easily be a meal. Four giant relic meat balls smothered in melty mozzarella. The manicotti is also wonderful. Cheese stuffed pasta smothered in mozzarella. What could go wrong? Nothing it's perfect! The baked chicken parm on spaghetti is great (you can get it with grilled or fried chicken and on your choice of pasta). My go to appetizers are the fried pickles and the pretzels with beer cheese. It's so hard to not just inhale them they are amazing. The pretzels are cut then deep fried so they get a crunchy outside and a soft inside. Their toasted raviolis are good too but are on the spicy side. The house salad is great too. Yum yum. read more

Local, small, family owned Italian bar....if you didn't know it was there you would definitely drive right past! Went on a Thursday evening around 5 and was already quite busy. By 6 it was PACKED! I can understand why...fresh made to order favorite Italian dishes in addition to salads, burgers, sandwiches along with a full bar. The eggplant parmigiana (Godmother) & pasta w/ meatballs were both fantastic and huge portions. Garlic bread w/ cheese appetizer was great but small portion. I will definitely be back! Only reason why gave 4 stars is tables are extremely close together and ambient noise (especially from people sitting at the bar) made it difficult to carry on a conversation without speaking loud. They do have outside seating that would be open in nice weather that might make this issue better. read more

This place is great!! We are out of towners, and needed a restaurant that had a Lenten menu, so we decided on pasta!!! But it turns out their half fish sandwich and fries was AWESOME. Wow Wow Wow!! They say a hidden gem, it's actually lost lol. It took me three times up and down Eaton but found it finally. It is located to the far left of the strip mall drive behind it on the far left and you will find it. They have a great menu and I can't wait to go back and try more. Tonight I had God Mother which is like a spaghetti bake with Eggplant on top then layered with some sauce and cheese. It comes with a beautiful salad and garlic bread. Omg under $14.00 for all that and I took half of it home. My server even came back with more garlic bread. She told me that the order I got was too small. Wow what service! It's a very small place so you may have to wait but it's worth it. They have a great outdoor space for the warmer weather. I can't wait to eat outside. I will definitely be back.
