Pad Thai on the car side.

Very yummy. I had the tom yum shrimp soup, tried a couple of noodle dishes, and the mango sticky rice. Most people order to-go. But the service is amazing and the food delicious. This restaurant is on the more on the elegant side so it is perfect for a date. Even the music playing is more elegant. Give this place a try. It's a cute secret weapon spot.

This used to be a five-star for me. I had to lower my rating because I think the ownership changed hands, and the quality just went downhill quick. The sticky rice that came with the mango is now just a big ball of mush. There's no chew anymore, no more texture. The fried rice went downhill as well. It's mushy now, doesn't have any texture to it or separation. I feel like it's also way overcooked. When I took those photos earlier this year, I think they were at their Peak. But ever since then, I just cannot go back to this place again. The only reason why I still gave this place three stars, and probably the only reason why I would ever come into Ginger Thai now is because they're Thai iced tea is still one of the best around. So maybe just for a quick stop, take out order of one Thai iced tea to go? Is it worth it? Take it or leave it, you'll have to experience it for yourself. But honestly, I found a new Thai spot closeby that's 10 times better than what this place was even at its peak.

I had the Kuaytiew Neua Sap with chopped shrimp. I didn't know what it was and I wanted to try it. It's chopped onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, meat of your choice with flat noodles, and a fried, hard boiled egg. I don't know how to describe it other than very savory and good. The egg was also delicious.

So tasty! For lunch, I have eaten the eggplant with green curry lunch specia. It comes with a side of rice and a small salad.

Definitely not for me…read more I love Thai food, and we wanted to try a new place. This seemed like it would be ok due to the reviews and such, but we already knew there would be a chance that it would be this way.. what way.. the way where it's made for the area, not for the true authenticity. The service was ok, not great, not attentive, not helpful, nothing, just a guy that does the minimum. The inside is nice and spacious, well-designed and roomy. The dead giveaway should have been that we were the only ones there at 5:30pm. We have them a try, and it's not worth it. The best thing is the papaya salad. Do not get the bbq pork pieces unless you want some boiled pork with some sauce on it. Do not, definitely do not get the Wontons! These are the most upsetting wontons I have ever ate! It is just a small piece of over-processed, now tough, piece of pork in them, the size of a marble. The shrimp is in the broth, not made together. Foolish! Not enough flavor on the pad see ew, and what more, no wok char! What?! Where's the wok?! Anyway, like I said, there are so much better out there. If you never had Thai food, this is the place for you, but then again, don't get the papaya salad, cause that's the only thing made right, and that's too much for an unfamiliar palate.

The real stars here are the people that work here. (8/7/26) I've seen it mentioned in other…read morereviews of this place and I'm always surprised when businesses don't understand that this is the key. Not just the key to good Yelp reviews but the key to good word-of-mouth and the key to return business. But yeah, the food is great, too. It's not such great Thai food that it blows away other Thai restaurants but it keeps up with them. And tell me about the other Thai restaurants where you can order Cheesey hominy grits with Shrimp along side your Pad See Ew. My wife liked because everything comes very mild and you get a caddy of things that will spice/heat it up. I'm not a fan of that approach because I just want to dig into something with some kick and balance without playing, "Hey, I'm the Nutty Professor... let's try some of a little of this and I wonder what that tastes like" Note to people concerned about parking. I hate that whole scene... get the ticket, display the ticket, find the kiosk to pay for the ticket because you forgot to get the ticket stamped, download the f?@king app and type in your parking spot number, then find that you are in underground parking like a F%4king rat in a F%4king maze... NONE of that going on here. (But we showed up at an off time)... It was super simple, super easy... get your ticket, get it validated, leave. We parked about 30 feet from the front door and it was ALL good. Final thought. This place feels kind of "classy"... again, it's the people that work there but also the presentation, taking your order at the table, super clean, tasteful layout. (Man, get some cushions for those metal chairs though.). I want this place to open their next restaurant in Encino and have a long, sexy bar, mood lighting and candles.

You enter through the gate, which a ticket is given but they will validate afterwards. And the store front is next to the parking structure along with a few other restaurants. We didn't dine in but came to order for take out. From the menu, it's a mix of soul and Thai fusion. Dylan took care of us which he was a sweetheart. I love thai so trying new places is a little hit or miss as I have my favorite spots that never disappoints. Well, let's give it a shot. It's wasn't busy when we arrived, a group inside was dining when we walked in. An order of the summer roll, which we added shrimp as it comes with tofu only. There were loads of veggies which was fine but they could have added a little more of the shrimp. The sauce that accompanied it was great. I love noodle soup so to see that they had some was nice. Would love to have boat noddle but they didn't offer it. Instead I went with the tom yum noodle soup. I hate to say, it wasn't my favorite. The broth was way too sweet for my liking. I alway ask for medium as I like to spice it up myself but when we received the order, there were no extra sauces or condiments in our take out order. Only sauce was the dipping for the summer rolls. That was a bummer. Then there was the drunken noodles. Flat rice noodles with a mixture of greens in a brown sauce with Thai chili. And lastly the panang curry with chicken. Also, spice level for medium and spicy was off. They were pretty much similar, not spicy. The food was so so and that was coming from three of us. I don't know if the soul and Thai fusion was a factor but it was just ok. The reviews sounded good which gave us high hopes about this place, but I have to say that we were a little underwhelmed with the dishes. The flavors for us just wasn't there. Maybe we'll give it another shot but from this first experience, it's leaning toward a different direction.
