So whenever I am getting my haircut I stop her to get food! I have never had a bad meal at Ginger Thai! The food is just so good! It's not overly spicy but it tastes fresh and delicious. They have an amazing lunch menu special and a wide variety of dishes to choose from! The service has always been courteous, kind and friendly. I generally get food to go and I get it around lunch and I think I beat the lunch crowd because that lunch menu special is amazing! This is just my treat when I have to drive to the barbershop. Ginger Thai Cuisine is a staple in our go-to or take-out choices for at least 10 years. Their lunch specials only slightly less than evening portions, plus extra goodies. The Jade Curry is my favorite, usually with white fish of salmon, also the garlic green beans. Wonderful salads, and that peanut dressing...I'm salivating! The flavors are great, they adjust the spice level nicely to your taste. I try to avoid carbs, but their noodle dishes have often been my downfall. This used to be a five-star for me. I had to lower my rating because I think the ownership changed hands, and the quality just went downhill quick. The sticky rice that came with the mango is now just a big ball of mush. There's no chew anymore, no more texture. The fried rice went downhill as well. It's mushy now, doesn't have any texture to it or separation. I feel like it's also way overcooked. When I took those photos earlier this year, I think they were at their Peak. But ever since then, I just cannot go back to this place again. The only reason why I still gave this place three stars, and probably the only reason why I would ever come into Ginger Thai now is because they're Thai iced tea is still one of the best around. So maybe just for a quick stop, take out order of one Thai iced tea to go? Is it worth it? Take it or leave it, you'll have to experience it for yourself. But honestly, I found a new Thai spot closeby that's 10 times better than what this place was even at its peak. read more

Recently our group of six had dinner here. Everything was delicious as always. I had my 50th Bday party here and it was perfect. I had 40 guests whom all loved the food and atmosphere. Home made Peanut Sauce ( best I've ever tasted) is delicious with chicken satay. My family's go to is the lemon grass chicken wings, chicken satay, and dumplings with (home made sauce) Pad Thai noodles and Beef Penang. It's chopped onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, meat of your choice with flat noodles, and a fried, hard boiled egg. I don't know how to describe it other than very savory and good. Discovered this place because my dad's barber is the mother of the son who is the owner of this place. Got that? The ambiance is kind of empty but it makes up when you're with company, it's very intimate. Oooh la la, if you know what I'm saying. Definitely recommend the SHRIMP STICKS to start! THAI ICED TEA was rich and creamy. Seated immediately, but took a few minutes to get our drink order. Had to ask for menus, then weren't approached to take our food order until 10 minutes after arrival. Received food 25 minutes into our visit.
