This is our "go to" Thai place. They changed owners but still make great food! Eat in or take it to go - always consistently delicious

Definitely not for me. I love Thai food, and we wanted to try a new place. This seemed like it would be ok due to the reviews and such, but we already knew there would be a chance that it would be this way.. what way.. the way where it's made for the area, not for the true authenticity. The service was ok, not great, not attentive, not helpful, nothing, just a guy that does the minimum. The inside is nice and spacious, well-designed and roomy. The dead giveaway should have been that we were the only ones there at 5:30pm. We have them a try, and it's not worth it. The best thing is the papaya salad. Do not get the bbq pork pieces unless you want some boiled pork with some sauce on it. Do not, definitely do not get the Wontons! These are the most upsetting wontons I have ever ate! It is just a small piece of over-processed, now tough, piece of pork in them, the size of a marble. The shrimp is in the broth, not made together. Foolish! Not enough flavor on the pad see ew, and what more, no wok char! What?! Where's the wok?! Anyway, like I said, there are so much better out there. If you never had Thai food, this is the place for you, but then again, don't get the papaya salad, cause that's the only thing made right, and that's too much for an unfamiliar palate. read more

Food was awesome! Ordered the Tom Yum seafood soup with a side of noodles. The chicken Phad Thai was delicious! I love their Thai tea! Love that it wasn't too sweet it had the right amount of sweetness. Service was excellent. The server was inviting and very kind. The ambiance is cool and comfortable. Ordering the fresh and lovely Fresh Roll I soon ran out of the beloved peanut sauce. No staff had visited the dining room for about -15 minutes. So I stood by the cashier station. When curtly asked what I wanted I was told to return to my seat sir. It felt racist. Upon receiving my second peanut sauce I said thank you and the server/owner said nothing. Our neighborhood Thai place go to! Feels authentic & always delicious. The Swai fried fish is so good, perfectly battered & fried with a sweet, flavor packed sauce & topped with crispy basil. The chicken basil dish was equally good. We ended up with sticky rice with mango that was so sweet & coconut flavor in rice was perfect. A definite must try. Our server was really nice & encouraged us to have the dessert even being full, we finished it all! read more

Best Thai restaurant in our area! I feel so lucky to have this restaurant just down the street from my house. Been eating here regularly for a couple years now and it's consistently delicious. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and the flavor and portions are great. We usually do takeout but recently ate inside the restaurant and it is very cozy and cute. I enjoy coming to this place since food is better than other Thai restaurants in this area and it's close to my place. Reason I give only 3 stars, few days back I asked to be seated to enjoy my meal since, I usually order to go. The person that serve me, out of nowhere started packing my meal WHILE I WAS STILL EATING. He kept saying "hey take your time" but putting all my food in containers to go when probably I had two spoons of food. But he packed everything and well basically I was kicked out lol he gave me my check and I paid and left to finish my meal at home. I understand the lack of language comprehension but he should have said they needed to close or ANYTHING!! but nope just packing my stuff saying take your time ok? lol So, I will not visit again thank you. read more

Wow was I impressed!! Very unassuming location between a Domino's Pizza and a CBTL. I don't live in the area but I am often nearby pet sitting so I was glad to find these guys. Nice looking dining room but I ordered takeout. Pad Kee Mao with chicken and Panang curry with pork and both dishes were delicious. They also have what they call fusion stuff which looks like various tacos with Thai food instead and some of it looks great and I will definitely try it out on a future visit Totally recommended and I hope to return read more

This place states they deliver but every time I call for a delivery, they tell me they have no one to come to my area. I'm 3 miles from them, but I'm at work. I can't leave. It's not once or twice. I've called them a dozen times at least, in the last two months and they never have anyone to deliver food and truthfully the only reason I call them is because they're close to where I work; I wouldn't be asking for delivery if I could leave my desk and come pick up food. And by the way, that's what the man said to me. "Why don't you come pick it up.. " I'm not going to call them anymore. I have had their food and it's just average. I don't care to call a third-party food delivery service when Thai fusion bistro states they have delivery. They shouldn't put delivery service available on their website if they truly don't have someone to deliver food. read more

We went there because one of our friends is a local and loves the owner and the food. I have to say it was good. It is located in a strip mall in West Hills and you have to be careful about the parking, but there is always someone going in and out so be a little patient. The place is nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly. We had a couple of curries which were great and the papaya salad was delicious. Sometimes this dish has too much fish sauce, but they really got it right. The spring rolls were also good and tasty. The Yelp app has been glitchy lately. Let's see if this one works.. Yes, yes and more YES! "Don't be so shy" by DJ Diac, ReMan & Nomeli and "Love me like you do" by Twin & Jessica Chertock play in the background. That lo fi, slow bass, chill music, relaxed ambiance vibe in here matches perfect with the food. I feel at ease. Staff: Humble people, putting their heart and soul into their jobs, food and service. We were well taken care of. Food: OMG! Great Thai classics and fusions. The star of our experience was not only our waitress "Deer," but the Fried Banana was out of this world. It's a Real banana, like a plantain. Crispy, not oily at all, packed with flavor. Omg, the coconut ice cream is sublime. It's smooth like a sherbert, yet creamy like vanilla ice cream, not overly sweet at all. The caramel on the side is very tasty, not sugary. You can dip as you like. The Papaya Salad says Fresh all over. It's not watery at all. I can tell this is made to order. They dress it per each order. It's the right balance of grassy notes, sour and a touch of sweet. Very refreshing and bright. Steamed Mussels: what makes this dish is the subtle notes of lemongrass and Ginger in the broth. The spicy dipping sauce that goes with it on the side is extraordinary. It's got that little hint of sour to round out the flavors in the dish. White Fish Tacos: crispy, flakey fish, not oily or greasy at all. I do like the freshness coming from the thinly sliced carrot, cabbage, red onion, and avocado. Tasty! Thai Fried Rice: THIS is what Thai fried rice should be. It's not to be confused with the Chinese version of fried rice. This is more delicate, still flavorful, and Packed with protein. TFB put a lot of meat in there. I love the fact that we ordered pork fried rice, and you could actually see that there was at least two pork cutlets in there diced big, so you could see what's going on. Quick tip, put some of that dipping sauce from the mussles on the fried rice, and oh my god! Parking: lunch time you should be able to find a spot at least. Dinner time there's plenty of room because the other business is nearby close. Management: my only notation is to change the sign on the outside of the building. Maybe put some white color around the rusty letters so that they're more visible in daylight. During the day it just looks like one big huge piece of rusted metal. You can't actually read with the name is. This is a great spot for family. Matter of fact, in front of us was father, son, and two grandchildren. Also a good place for the locals who work in the area from home, tourists visiting from out of town, and one of those places that just becomes your local Thai spot to everyone. I will be back! This is definitely our favorite restaurant. The food is always great, there's huge portions. The services is very good. They don't have a huge menu but everything on the menu is great. I definitely recommend this place if you like Thai food. Spoiler alert, don't park in the parking lot. There's actually great parking behind the restaurant and it's easy to get in and out of. read more

I just ordered food and the man that took my order was rude. He wouldn't listen to me when I told him no chicken and not spicy. He kept repeating chicken spicy. In addition, the food was watery and tasteless. The pad Thai noodles were watery and the steamed dumplings were watery. That's the only way I can describe it. I'm throwing it away. read more

I usually order from Little Siam on Saticoy/Fallbrook. But wanted to give another local establishment a try. So I decided to order from here since I frequent The Coffee Bean. I did notice that their prices are a little bit more than Little Siam. Ordered through Doordash for pick up. Got the Pad Thai and Tom Kha. Order came out to $33 with taxes. The Pad Thai was just ok, but I noticed that the portions was smaller. I thought it tasted ok, wasn't as good as Little Siam. The Tom Kha was too salty and not as creamy. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant as it's overly salty and more expensive. Although, the dining area was nice, spacious and clean. read more

This place in phenomenal. I have ordered most items on the menu and everything is fresh and tasty. My favorite items are the filet with mushrooms and the papaya salad which is always crisp and fresh. I ordered the Thai Fusion starter, pad Thai, orange chicken, and fried bananas...I placed the order for carry out. The woman who answered read my order back to me. When I got home, I realized they did not include the starter. I was not charged for it either. The food was similar to what you'd find in the freezer aisle in the market. My go to for Thai food at lunch. It had been a few years since going there because the previous owners hadn't done much with the menu and the food was average. I noticed that there was new ownership so my co worker and I stopped by at lunch and glad I did. We got the tacos and they were so good! I've gone back and the food is excellent and tasty. I've also taken my MIL and my hubby and they have enjoyed it as much as I have. It's a treat for us because we live 45 minutes away but worth the drive. There are Thai restaurants in T.O but Thai Fusion is top notch IMO. They are fairly priced and the staff is quick. When I go for lunch I only have 1 hour, I can get there, order, get fresh hot food and be back to work on time!!! Check this place out! read more

For some reason I was always hesitant to try this place for years.... I can't believe I waited so long. It's probably some of the best Thai I've had in a LONG time. The menu is simple and you might not find a whole lot of the traditional Thai dishes you'd see on some Thai town menus, but they have everything you'd expect (and some more).
