Drunken noodles with beef Chicken Sate (4 skewers)
    Adilene P.

Edit: Pink Elephant - Canoga Park When Pink Elephant says spicy, they mean it and I'm here for it. I used to be a regular here years ago, so when I was in the neighborhood I decided to stop in for a little nostalgia. I ordered the drunken noodles with beef and the chicken satay. The noodles were just as bold and flavorful as I remembered; chewy, packed with spice, and not shy about the heat if you ask for spicy. If you can't handle a serious kick, consider dialing it down. The beef was a letdown. It was so dry I couldn't finish it, and I immediately wished I had gone with chicken instead. The chicken satay, on the other hand, was tender and tasty, though the recipe seems a bit different than it used to be. Not quite the same magic I remember, but still a solid Thai spot that delivers real flavor and heat . My Pad Thai Ratings: * Grandma's Thai Kitchen - 5/10 * Kuhn Dang Restaurant - 7/10 * Toi on Sunset - 9/10 * Jasmine Thai - 7/10 * Pink Elephant - 8.5/10 * Sanamluang Cafe - 10/10 * Lum-Ka-Naad - 10/10

Amazing customer service. The girl who helped me today was unbelievable friendly and sweet. And she suggested I get the drunken noodles with chicken and a side order of white rice. I also got a small cucumber salad and I'm eating it right now and I'm in love with this place.

I really tried to give this place another chance, but unfortunately it was disappointing again. I called in my order ahead of time and still ended up waiting over 40 minutes after arriving. The food itself is good, but the portions are surprisingly small for the price -- especially compared to other Thai restaurants in the city that offer much better value and service. This was my second visit, and sadly, it'll be my last. The food is good but overall experience

The food here is best in the valley for Thai food. The lady here is sweet and polite and will suggest food if you ask her. The vibe is always peaceful and feels like home. Highly recommended this hidden gem!

    Don't see any crab meat

I have been ordering Pink Elephant since 2018. Shrinkflation during COVID was understandable, but the scrimping on seafoof dishes is just ridiculous. In 2018 for 10.50 you could order a crab fried rice that had a bed of cooked crab covering the entire area of rice. The 2025 crab fried rice for 16.00 is a joke. We had to pick apart the egg to even find the precense of crab to take a picture of. The chicken pad Thai looks exactly the same as it did in 2018. Everything still tastes great. But if you expect to receive any seafood you ordered, don't keep your hopes up.

I recently discovered this place isn't far away from my home and given the solid reviews, I decided to try it. This is one of the best tasting curry spots for the money that I've found in LA. For $11, you get a generous portion of curry and a side of rice. Many places these days charge extra for rice. Also, I just learned they will deliver nearby for free with minimum purchase of $20. I always get the green curry with soft tofu. It includes basil, bamboo and eggplant in a delicious curry. I ask for spicy, which isn't all that spicy, in my opinion. But the "extra spicy" is pretty hot and includes some Thai peppers that blow your head off when you bite into them. I wish there was a happy middle point between the two. But alas, still amazing flavor. My husband gets the yellow curry medium spicy with fried tofu. His has potatoes and carrots in a very rich, savory curry. Both of us slurp up the last drops to make sure we get it all, it's so good!

Everything inside was simple, nice and clean. In the background plays a classical music which is so relaxing. Our wait staff took care of us the entire time-even wrapped our to-gos so neatly for us(talking about good service)! I would definitely recommend this place! To start I expect rice to be a fresh bowl not just lukewarm old rice when ordering and paying for plain rice. Maybe my expectations were too high. I was so excited to try a new Thai restaurant that I can add to the already three that I love going to in the valley. We ordered a papaya salad, Bangkok barbecue pork, filet mignon, green beans, mango fish. We asked for all four dishes to be extra spicy, and no heat was felt by any of the dishes. They all seem to have a very similar flavoring no dishes tasted any different from the others. None of the dishes tasted "bad" but none were memorable where I would like to go again. The service was good. The ambience is cute.

We ordered drunkin noodle with chicken, crab fried rice, pork bbq, crying tiger beef, tom yum, panang beef, and devil noodle. Everything came out fantastic. The tom yum was dark and sour compared to other spots which are a little watered down. One of the boys liked it more than the other thai spots we frequent. The dipping sauce for the crying tiger and bbq pork matched perfectly. The panang beef paired well with the crab fried rice. And the mango sticky rice topped the meal off and kept our bellies full. I wanted beef jerky, a dish I always order from thai restaurants but I couldn't find it on the menu. Luckily there was such a thing when I ordered!!! The beef jerky was chewy and not super hard when I bit it. The meat was good quality, it was a bit like steak to be honest!!!
