Plenty of meter parking in front of the restaurant, I do not recommend parking in the lot rear of the restaurant. There is no access to the restaurant from there and you will have to walk all the way around. I should've read the reviews and realized that there is no indoor dining but was happy to take some food to go. Staff was very friendly and kind upon greeting me walking in. Took home some Tom Yum soup, cashew nut chicken, and some pad see eew. The cashew nut chicken was delicious as well as the soup. I honestly did not really care for the pad see eew much. The area surrounding the restaurant has gotten a bit rough at no fault of the restaurant owners. I Understand why they do takeout. read more

I just wanted to update my review! Pink elephant continues to impress me with how delicious their food is. I've been coming here for almost 2 years and to this day I'm still obsessed. Fast service and extremely friendly. Also like to mention that she started selling cookies and other baked goods. I wanted to give it a try because why not? LITERALLY SO GOOD. I'm a huge sucker for soft cookies and hers were amazing. She also made a biscoff cheesecake and that was also delicious as well. My mom loved it and finished in 10 minutes. Something has changed with this restaurant, the food quality has changed! I ordered foot yesterday including shrimp rolls. The rolls had barely any shrimp in (ton of lettuce) and they weren't wrapped properly in the rice wrap, they fell apart when removed from the plastic wrap. We had to eat them with forks. I have been ordering Pink Elephant since 2018. Shrinkflation during COVID was understandable, but the scrimping on seafoof dishes is just ridiculous. In 2018 for 10.50 you could order a crab fried rice that had a bed of cooked crab covering the entire area of rice. The 2025 crab fried rice for 16.00 is a joke. We had to pick apart the egg to even find the precense of crab to take a picture of. The chicken pad Thai looks exactly the same as it did in 2018. Everything still tastes great. But if you expect to receive any seafood you ordered, don't keep your hopes up. read more

I recently discovered this place isn't far away from my home and given the solid reviews, I decided to try it. This is one of the best tasting curry spots for the money that I've found in LA. For $11, you get a generous portion of curry and a side of rice. Many places these days charge extra for rice. Also, I just learned they will deliver nearby for free with minimum purchase of $20. I always get the green curry with soft tofu. It includes basil, bamboo and eggplant in a delicious curry. I ask for spicy, which isn't all that spicy, in my opinion. But the "extra spicy" is pretty hot and includes some Thai peppers that blow your head off when you bite into them. I wish there was a happy middle point between the two. But alas, still amazing flavor. My husband gets the yellow curry medium spicy with fried tofu. His has potatoes and carrots in a very rich, savory curry. I love Thai food and it doesn't necessarily have to be 100% authentic. I can appreciate fusion or a dish that has a good taste to it. The one thing I cannot stand is food that is of poor quality. The beef panang was a rubbery mess. It was served in a watery curry of so little flavor with eight small pieces of ever so chewy beef. It was either a bad cut of meat or meat that had been frozen a long time before being cooked. The curry with its peas and bits of carrot tasted way better by itself over my white rice. The egg rolls were not much better. They were soggy vegetable that tasted more like grease than anything else. The reviews looked good and I really wanted to like this place too. I ordered a Thai staple and it just wasn't good. I have to say though that the staff was friendly and the service wasn't bad. So sad to update my review (it was my favorite Thai in the valley!), but my husband and I got very, very scary food poisoning after eating here (at the exact same time, a few hours later, and having not shared any other food prior) -- the kind that knocked us out for almost a week. Our food had shrimp in it, which was the likeliest culprit. Safe to say that we won't be eating here again :( Three stars since it doesn't seem to be a regular occurrence for them, and I'm hoping it was a fluke. THE BEST FOOD PERIOD! I have been going here for years on years now and I will forever continue to bring them business because this family always makes me feel loved as soon as I walk through that door.
