I was craving some Thai and much needed girl time so I met with a fellow yee for lunch during a weekday. We both got the pad Thai lunch special with a mini salad and an egg roll on the side. The dressing on the salad was really good, the roll I passed along (not gluten free) and the pad Thai was a good portion of noodles. It was really good, I ate it all but then again I was just really hungry. The waitress we had was very attentive and really sweet. Our food came out relatively quick but then again it wasn't crowded when we were there. Note that the parking lot is really small since it's in a small lot but there was some spaces open when I arrived. The inside of the restaurant is small as well but they have a good amount of seating throughout. Tables, bench and a little bar spot. There is no public restroom when dining in.

Decided to look up a new Thai food place in the West Valley. Thai Blvd bistro is considered one of the highest rated in my area and is great. That is very kind and attentive. I had to have gone through five glasses of water and the staff was quick to refill before I even realized I was getting low. The food is amazing, would specifically recommend the cashew nut chicken and lemongrass soup. I meant she arrived before the dinner rush, but even then it wasn't too loud and there's a nice lighting atmosphere in the restaurant. Will be back for more Thai food.

We were craving Thai food and no where near our usual haunts. Decided on this place and was very pleased. The food was excellent and huge portions. Despite that we almost finished everything because it was so tasty. Many thanks to fellow yelpers for the great ratings. We were not disappointed. It's a small restaurant, very cozy and well appointed. I highly recommend this place.

M every single time I return to this place I remember why I love coming back here. One of if not the best Thai food restaurants I've ever been to. The service the ambience and the food are all five star. I do like spicy food however I will say if you order spicy beware because they don't mess around. I don't recommend asking for spicy unless you can really handle it.

Still the best Thai food around and the best service! Absolutely love this place!!! Try the drunken spaghetti!

I think it is the second time in this restaurant. I like the vibe, jazz music, the girls, I think they are the owners, are very friendly. The food is delicious. Indeed, it is 4.5. Ask the blvd entrance, really good! The pineapple curry was tasty!

Thai Blvd Bistro, is a "hidden gem" on Vanowen in Canoga Park. There are no fancy signs and it is located in a small crowded strip mall, with limited and tight parking. The restaurant has a small and intimate dining space, together with well appointed tables and decor. I really liked the soft jazz piano music that constantly played in the background. We were here for lunch and ordered two entrees plus two individual rice portions ($3 each). Both the mains arrived well presented with eye catching optics. The Penang Curry with chicken was silky, thick and married well with the protein that melted in your mouth. The Pad Prik King with Beef had great depth, the right amount of oily gravy to impart fullness and the beef pieces were nice and tender. The beans were optimally cooked for crunch and color. Both dishes were bursting with flavors, textures and each imparted distinct and satisfying tastes. However, customer service could have been better. It was hurried, abrupt and indifferent, all through the dining experience.

The pad Thai did taste a little different than what we're typically use to. My bf wasn't a big fan of it unfortunately. I really enjoyed the Thai basil leaves with ground chicken it had the right amount of spice!! I give it a 9 Lemonade was very and I mean too sweet. :((( not worth $5 sorry! Cute presentation though lol

Been going here for years and it never disappoints. Always fresh and good! My favorite is filet mignon with green beans and garlic. My wife likes their chicken satay. And the food is always ready in the time they quote you! We definitely will be back!

Pad see ew was the best thing. Would order that again. I was disappointed that we had six dishes and we're only given three soy sauces and three spicy sauces. We need way more. The place was dark. We had gotten it to go so we ate it at home. That's why we were more disappointment because we didn't realize how little sauces we had until we got home. But also, I would order the Thai tea with lemonade that is bussin.

You guys have to try this Thai restaurant family owned family run and operated, everything is so delicious and you can taste the quality and it was cooked with love . My favorite is coconut soup it was to perfection must try. The restaurant has great ambience and design, bathroom is very clean and parking is available underground if in case regular parking is not available. The service is very good as well and very friendly, Pat is so sweet and so as Kitty. Thank you for the wonderful experience, it's like dining in your home with good service. Compliments to the Chef! Support this local restaurant. Quality food.

I didn't feel like cooking since I worked 12 hours today. I felt like having Thai food; sure thing my husband calls me and suggests to dine here. Everything inside was simple, nice and clean. In the background plays a classical music which is so relaxing. Our wait staff took care of us the entire time-even wrapped our to-gos so neatly for us(talking about good service)! I would definitely recommend this place! It revolves around the Thai bistro concept and is actually a nice, warm and cozy place. The menu here has numerous enticing selections. It is not large, but it is also not small. They, unlike other Thai restaurants, also carry a limited Ramen noodle menu. Once again, I was here for a carryout. From the lunch special, my choice was the Pepper Garlic Beef, a concoction I have never had at this restaurant (generally go for their fish). For rice, my selection was white and it is also accompanied with their salad (which by the way, is always delivers). So how was the beef dish? While the meat was tender and tasty, their beef pieces are always presented as large slices. As such, it is difficult to eat (unless you have a big mouth, LOL) and I have to always re slice them before consumption. There was a huge amount of small garlic pieces, all even in size, and distributed all over the beef (see my pictures). Suggesting that it could be out of one of those preserved chopped garlic bottles, you find at several of the grocery stores. No question, it did provide a lower dimension of taste. What happened to that advert about using fresh ingredients? Oh well.

I used to be a regular here years ago, so when I was in the neighborhood I decided to stop in for a little nostalgia. I ordered the drunken noodles with beef and the chicken satay. The noodles were just as bold and flavorful as I remembered; chewy, packed with spice, and not shy about the heat if you ask for spicy. If you can't handle a serious kick, consider dialing it down. The beef was a letdown. It was so dry I couldn't finish it, and I immediately wished I had gone with chicken instead. The chicken satay, on the other hand, was tender and tasty, though the recipe seems a bit different than it used to be. Not quite the same magic I remember, but still a solid Thai spot that delivers real flavor and heat . Service was friendly both times and the food came out surprisingly fast. I ordered the pad kee mao with extra chicken (only added extra chicken on my second visit) and overall thought it was very good. The chicken honestly stood out the most to me because it was actually tender and soft instead of rubbery or overcooked like you sometimes get from other Thai restaurants (especially "hole-in-the-wall" places). The noodles had a really nice texture too. Soft without being mushy, and the whole dish tasted fresh and flavorful throughout with no bland bites. The vegetables were cooked well and still had a bit of crispness to them, especially the carrots, bell peppers, onions, and string beans. Everything tasted fragrant and balanced with a light tanginess from the basil. I also appreciated that the dish wasn't greasy or overly oily, which can easily happen with drunken noodles. I got the mango iced tea at 25% sweetness and thought it was great. Refreshing and not overpoweringly sweet. My only small complaint is that the portion felt a little smaller the second time I came, even after adding extra chicken, and in general, the menu leans a bit pricey. Still, the quality of the ingredients and the consistency between visits makes up for a lot of that. Overall, really solid Thai food with fresh flavors and a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a place I'd keep coming back to.

I loved the corn kernels in the muffin and the rosemary. It was so great that I ordered a second one mid-meal. The second one was very overcooked and had it been the first one, I would never have considered ordering again. But the first one was so good that when I go back and order one, I'll ask that it isn't overcooked. I look forward to stopping by again soon and sampling more items from the menu.

OMG So happy to have finally tried out this Thai spot with a group of others. This place is a…read morehidden gem! We were able to wait to be seated for a group of 10. The space inside looks pretty small, but it wasn't too tightly cramped or anything. I noticed that there were plenty of other tables that can handle large groups too. The menu is very big, with tons of food options to look into. For someone with a nut and peanut allergy, you have to be careful because this restaurant has several items with those ingredients and you definitely need to let the server know. I very much enjoyed the Panang (panam?) curry with chicken. The coconut broth with the mild Thai spices was just so delicious to slurp and drown out my white rice with. We also got the Pad See Ew, which was made so well! The noodles were slightly sticky and deliciously chewy with the flavors standing out. We also had chicken satay and the honey roasted ribs were tender and had a soy-sauce taste to them. They're well-known with their mango sticky rice, and it was super delicious! The mango was fresh and deliciously paired with the sticky rice. We are super thankful for the service we received by the staff and the wait also wasn't too long! The kitchen staff were efficient and working hard. PS Only one bathroom toilet per gender, one of the toilets were clogged the night we went so they let everyone use the other one. - Parking is in the back lot, shared with other businesses but we were there at night so there was plenty spots. Great hours! We also chose this spot because they were open late!

The chicken satay was good as well- the chicken was juicy even though sliced thin. Overall, I would order from here again.
