Awesome experience. I went there today for the first time with a groupon and will definitely be going back. I explained that I had just adopted my dog a week ago and that she is a nervous nelly so I wasn't sure how she would be during the haircut. She did fine and looked beautiful. I definitely recommend!!!

Our gorgeous girl! So happy to find Liz at Ginger's Getaway Pet Spa!

Very pleased with Liz at Ginger's Getaway Pet Spa. Despite the name, Hairless Chinese Cresteds are not completely hairless and its difficult to find groomers to trim them given that they aren't exactly common. Liz was very nice, honest and passionate about doing a good job; something that you don't find often enough these days! We found our new groomer!!

Because I have a problem walking he always comes out to my car to get my dog and bring her back to me. It is a fabulous service for me. Besides that my dog, Chloe always looks beautiful. Aaron always does what I ask him to do. I highly recommend this dog groomers.

I took my dog in for grooming, as I normally do. However, the person I had specifically requested…read moredid not groom him. I'm not sure if the person who handled him was new, but it was a man I had never dealt with before. When I picked up my dog, he had blood around his eye. The owner cleaned it with a cotton pad and told me that my dog had injured himself. Once I got home, I realized he also had an injury on one of his ears and another injury on his leg. The injury on his leg later opened up and started bleeding. His condition continued to get worse on Sunday, and by Monday I had to take him to the veterinarian. He was prescribed antibiotics, pain medication, and a topical cream for the wound. Since Saturday, my dog has had to wear a cone and take medication because of these injuries. When I went back to the grooming business to request reimbursement for the veterinary expenses, instead of handling the situation professionally, they threatened to call the police. The owner also told me that the man who groomed him wanted to take me to court. In other words, my dog and I were the ones dealing with the consequences of what happened during his grooming appointment, yet somehow they acted as though they were the offended party. Initially, their proposed solution was to send me to a veterinarian in Hialeah, which I declined. During this situation, I was called dishonest and a bad person. They only agreed to reimburse part of the veterinary bill after I asked about their insurance. Businesses that provide grooming services should have insurance to cover accidents like this, which left me wondering whether they actually have appropriate coverage. The veterinary hospital even had to contact them directly and send them photos of my dog's injuries. They also had to change the name on the invoice in order for the grooming business to process the reimbursement, and even after all of that, they only reimbursed part of the bill. This has been an extremely upsetting and disappointing experience. I am sharing the photos taken at the veterinary hospital so others can see what my dog went through. I sincerely hope no one else's pet ever has to experience something like this.
