I love my dog's groomer, Andrea. She is terrific. Sam is a bichonpoo and she will groom him the way I like him to look instead of a Bichon hairstyle. Do not recommend at all. Fur is usually uneven and patchy, my dog has had several cuts and even bleeding of the nail. But the straw the broke the camel's back was then they injured his eye and caused bloodlike mark on his eye. Not to mention that they are never on time and full of excuses for it. This has been the worst groomer in my entire life since I have dogs I have never experience the horrible treatment and the horrible job they did to my dogs. The original groomers have taken care of my 2 dogs for 20 yrs.when I called them the last time they had no record of my pet HULK or TOBY or my phone number at all .it was run by CAROLINA AND HER FAMILY MEMBERS .my dog was groomed 2 months ago by them but they say she wasn't there for 2 yrs but that wasn't true. This grooming service is never on time for appointments. If you have 4/5 hour window for arrival times, then use them. But if you are someone that is mindful of time and have tight schedules, STAY AWAY. Last few appoints they have been late. Today we just canceled, as the appointment was set for 1-1:30 pm. I asked for an eta at 1:21pm, they responded saying the groomer is running 1 hour late. I texted them at 2:55 for an updated eta, and their only feed back was "do you want to reschedule?" Glad I did not completely trash Coco's after our first encounter. The first groomer who came to our house did a terrible job with our Dolly. Being a mini Australian Shepherd, Dolly does not need much grooming (except for a bath and some trimming), but it looked like nothing was done to her after the first visit. Dolly did not even smell like she was bathed! We did complain and thankfully, the owners were very responsive. They sent another groomer who did a nice job. We used Coco's again today, and the gentleman did an even better job than the "make-up" grooming. Dolly came our fresh, fluffy, trimmed, with cute bows and a bandana. I HOPE TO SAVE A DOG FROM A BURN. Long time customer but our recent grooming service was a terrible experience. My Golden Doodle got horrible razor burn by Xiomara. She didn't tell me anything and when I called the excuse was that "it's just a friction" on the skin. The next day the wound looked really bad and the dog was diagnosed with an acute traumatic burn. I called the owners with my concern and to change the groomer and they apologized, but to add insult to the injury, they told me they have to charge me more money with the new groomer. My dog was mistreated and burned and on top of that they expect me to pay more money the same day I'm discussing the complaint?...Unbelievable....So Unprofessional........ The description of what's included in the bath was very clearly communicated - nail trim, tooth brushing, ear cleaning and anal gland expression. Diana arrived early and was friendly - my dog didn't protest being left in the truck with her. Diana told me she found a flea on my dog. She's on both Bravecto and Heartgard so it was weird, but I paid the extra $20 for a flea dip just in case. Better safe than sorry... I used to LOVE THEM! Always did a wonderful job with my mini schnauzer. Staff very polite and always very respectful of my time. A few weeks ago, Gigi was groomed by Coco's. Then 3 days later she developed bumps all over her body BUT only in the areas where she was shaved (back, top of head, around her skirt area). I didn't pay attention to the location of the bumps right away though. I thought she had what is known as Schnauzer bumps so I contacted the vet and got the first available appointment which was yesterday (not thinking Coco's was responsible at all) because schnauzers are prone to these bumps though Gigi has never had them before but a friends dog has so I know about them. When the vet saw her, she examined the bumps and their location and immediately told me Gigi has a bacterial infection which is caused by dirty grooming tools! I immediately contacted Coco's. A manager returned my call and immediately became defensive and made the claim that Coco's cleans and disinfects and takes pictures of the clean tools every night. I asked her if there is a possibility that someone did not do it and she told me that's impossible and that they always do it because her staff are absolutely perfect and would never make the error of not cleaning the tools so there is no possible way that it could be their fault. I asked her about between grooming (which she never mentioned before) and suddenly she said OH YES AND BETWEEN GROOMINGS TOO. I told her, "well that's funny because when I put my dog inside the van the tools were not clean and there was hair left behind from the previous dog. Let me just say that no matter what I said, this lady fought back and had everything to say except anything remotely close to ACCOUNTABILITY!! She states that since no one else is complaining of bumps on their dog that they are not responsible. What if they didn't SEE the bumps on their dog? What if they didn't notice it? Thats a horrible way to make a determination! My dog was groomed by you and ended up with a skin infection which is caused by dirty grooming tools and you're the only ones grooming her sooooo???!!! Right now my girl is miserable! She has to take steroids, use an antibacterial shampoo twice a week and has to take injections. My dog is an indoor dog. We don't go to dog parks, she plays in our yard only and has never had any type of skin ailments prior to this grooming. Coco's manager argued with me, she even giggled on the call and pretty much told me they will not claim responsibility for this. We paid $150 for medications and I'm hoping for a full recovery but just a warning, if you use them, it will be AT YOUR OWN RISK because they will not accept responsibility at all!! Never EVER EVER again will these people touch my dog! And no it's not because she ended up with an infection but because the way they handled the situation has RED FLAG written all over it. Got totally ripped off. The so called groomer apparently sprinkled my Persian cat with powder, and didn't cut, didn't bathe, said she trimmed cats nails, WRONG, WE DID THE DAY BEFORE. When we asked her to cut the hair about half as long said she could only scalp cat, cut not possible. WRONG AGAIN, we've had cat cut several times before. Unfortunately had our Bolognese dog cut same day. We asked her to cut about half as long as he was. Came back scalped, razor burned on back legs and bottom. I will never be using this place again. I used Vanessa the first time and she was great. Then Vanessa wasn't available and they sent Xiomara. Do not use Xiomara!!!! . She burnt or did something to my dog's lip! She didn't say anything to me about and I didn't see it until later on during the day. Very affordable and they brushed her teeth. Even cut her hair a lil for the first time ever a bit to assist in the shedding dept.....only Con was that they don't paint her nails. Completely disappointed! My dog is a 7lbs puppy of 6 months. We asked to have his face, paws and belly groomed (partial grooming) We had done a previous full grooming couple months before, so he just needed a partial one now. And I was very clear about it because we are traveling in two months to Texas and wanted to keep his hair long to keep him warm. Well, they charged me more for the partial, than the full, when I called to ask, they mentioned that partial is just cleaning his face and did not include his head hairs above the eyes which the lady did trim, so nothing could be done but say sorry. My dog was in their van for over 3 hours. I have serviced with cocos once before where my Siberian Husky was given a light trim and bathed. When they finally finished this time however, my dog appeared mutilated. She was practically shaved down to the skin. Ever since she has been uncomfortably irritated all over. I read some of the scary reviews given and almost didn't book with Cocos, but I have a neighbor who uses them all the time, and my dog only needed a shampoo and nails trimmed. My dog is old, grouchy, and does not like strangers. I warned the groomer my dog will try to bite. I brought her out in a muzzle. I have never seen my dog take to a person the way she did with Verona. She said my dog did not need the muzzle at all. She even took an adorable selfie, cheek to cheek with my dog with no muzzle. I am still scratching my head. My dog hates everybody at first. Not Verona. I had a great experience and was glad I gave Cocos a chance. Kona hadn't been properly groomed in years. Coco's mobile grooming came to our rescue during quarantine. They showed up on time. The groomers wore mask during our contact. They groomed 4 small dogs in less than 3 hours. One of the 4 dogs was a poodle cut. The other 3 were nice and furry due to being well over their typical monthly grooming. Their prices were very fair and offered a multi dog discount. Communication was above and beyond expectations. They sent reminder text about the appointments and the 30 min arrival window, which they didn't need :) I loved the convenience of having the dogs groomed at home. I didn't have to load them in the car to drop off or pick up. They didn't have to wait while the other dogs were bathed and groomed. They all felt very comfortable with the groomers. Coco's is very misleading. The Grooming Van is an eye catcher, however the grooming service are the worst i've experienced to date with my English Bulldog. In addition, there price changed after services were rendered. What made things worse the service they "attempted " to do wasn't done at all , " anal gland expression". My own fault their, because after telling the groomer my dog needs his anal gland's expressed, her comment was English Bulldogs do not need that done. Not only do they need that done, they need it done more so than your average dog, due to the tendencies of English bulldogs having issues with allergies with dictates anal glands filling up faster than your average dog which says " EXPRESS THEM GLANDS" To top things off the groomer gives my dog back saying he was done. Well, Sidney my English bulldog, comes back to me 30% wet and without smelling like he was just at a groomer. The only thing they did right, was knowing how to process my credit card properly. My pup has really bad anxiety with going to any groomer that puts him in a cage for a prolonged period of time. Enter mobile grooming, a complete life changer! It gives me peace of mind to know they are right there and if anything happens I am a short step away. The manager told me that the groomer didn't get a notification that I was added into their schedule at 3:30 PM. Used Cocos for the first AND LAST time today. While my dog smells better and is shedding a little less, she came back to me when bloody feet that left footprints all over the house. In addition, before she could even come back inside, the groomer let her loose in the neighborhood so I had to chase her down in the pouring rain. Coco's got lucky that she didn't get run over! Our terrified pup, who does not swim, was even fleeing into the canal to get away from the groomer, who she was petrified of - I'm sure because of what she had done to her nails. When I spoke to Coco's, they tried to say the bleeding was normal and we should have warned them that she hadn't had her nails cut in awhile. They also tried to say it was our fault for the dog running because the groomer did not have a leash (FYI- they never asked us for one). The icing on the cake was the fur they left on our driveway after the service. They gave a half ass apology and discount but if I honestly believe I could've done a better job than they did for a lot cheaper! Really feeling ripped off and sorry for our dog, who they hurt today. I would not recommend this dog grooming company, they came a few days ago to groom both of my dog a terrier and a pug, long story short they didn't smell clean, nails didn't seem trimmed, tails and head left uncut and with a very noticeable line of hair. Update: The company contacted me immediately after I posted this review and apologized for what had happened to my dog. They had a vet come to my house the next day to treat my dogs cuts. I'm very pleased on how they treated the situation and grateful that they paid for a vet to treat my dog. I tried Cocos For the first time today. I had my two small dogs groomed. The female groomers that came did not speak any English so it was hard to communicate. After the grooming I noticed that my one dog had been cut very badly. It would've been nice if the groomers had told me about it so I could've put medicine on it right away, I've taken my dog to another groomer for two years now and they've never cut them. Typically, I would take my dog to a place, but this was way more convenient -- and the price was the same!!
