Service - Our server was great. She was very attentive and made sure we always had our mugs filled with coffee. I appreciated the friendly service that was all smiles. 1 Star. Food - Yolk's menu has classic breakfast and brunch options but be sure you check to table for coffee specials. I ordered an Iced Apple Pie Latte that was served in a glass mason jar. This small detail allowed the Apple flavor to start my breakfast on a high note. Speaking of which, my Breakfast Mac & Cheese caught my attention when it was served in a skillet. I intended to only eat half, but the smokey ham paired with the creamy mac & cheese under a light panko layer was too delicious for me to stop. The prices are a bit on the high side, but otherwise a geat meal. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. DFW is getting many great breakfast/brunch spots like Yolk. My friend had to get up to find silverware. The hostess helped us out, but the first set we were given was dirty so he actually had to get up again to get another one. We took about 30 minutes to finish up our meal and then waited for a while for our server to pop back up and offer us the check. $68 for 2 people and poor service.
