Food is typical for breakfast. Eggs, hash browns and crispy thin bacon. Pancakes were good. Coffee was surprisingly tasty. Service is good a lot of movement around the table was stuck in the middle of the room .. the air from the movement of them made the food cold fast so your rushing to eat a warm meal from the time you got it. Sunday was a very busy day so expect a wait to be seated. The manager that is the Mexican young man at the register was rude and would not give my Seniors citizens discount to me.

Busy this Sunday morning. Wait time was about 15 minutes arriving about 10:30AM for a party of 4. Atmosphere has a busy and bustling feel but overall noise level is contained and not over bearing. Server was very good and efficient. Food was very good ordering the breakfast. They have a senior citizen special combination. I got the Senior pancake combo and wife got the 1/2 waffle combination. Consists of the named item and 2 eggs cooked to order with choice of bacon or sausage patty. Wife enjoyed how the bacon was cooked, crispy and not burnt s she ordered. Daughter got the Migas breakfast. Baby fed off of our plates. Coffee was good. Overall would recommend this eatery without hesitation. Notes lots of people waiting to be seated as we left. Seems like a popular place for breakfast and lunch. Advertised as "home cooking" and it seems that way at least for breakfast.

Senior Pork Chops ( fried) , potatoes , pinto beans and plenty cream gravy !! And what a deal 9.99

The best senior menu arround. I picked the pork chop that are Homemade pan fried . The pork chop was huge . It was big enough for two people. The pinto beans were homemade beans , you can taste the bacon flavor off it. The mashed potatoes were soo tasty more like home made, at least they were not tastless like cardboard . The Good Days resturant are consistent in their menu. And very well priced. Not like over ones head proce. Its like a small town resturant with customers of a small town P. S. Sorry my picture has bite taking off on it. Its bc I couldnt wait to eat it

My husband and I visited Good Day Cafe and we were thrilled with this restaurant. The staff were great and the customer service and hospitality were top tier. The food arrived hot and fresh and had amazing flavor. The restaurant atmosphere was friendly, and welcoming. We also loved the beautiful pottery sold there.

10/10 food and service! We recently went for breakfast and I had the huevos rancheros, also had the Good Day Sampler, Chicken Fried Steak Skillet and a waffle and happy face pancake.

This place has been getting a lot of buzz and I understand why. Not much from the outside located in a shopping center but on the inside it offers plenty of dining space and an extensive menu with something for everyone! They have your traditional down home American combos, benedicts, omelettes, skillets, steak & eggs, chicken fried chicken, waffles, and a Tex-Mex menu. I was so overwhelmed with all the delicious breakfast options that I didn't even look at the lunch menu! They also have smoothies and a few different coffee options. We tried the Café de Olla that came in beautiful Mexican pottery mugs served with a cinnamon and sugar mix and a little heart shaped cookie. It was a beautiful presentation and delicious! I got the huevos rancheros with crispy red potatoes and my husband got the chicken fried chicken skillet. Both were delicious good portions and reasonably priced. The service was also great! All the staff were very friendly and attentive and the place was full of regulars who we engaged with including a senior who appreciated their senior menu offering 55+. The atmosphere was friendly and appropriate for all ages. We went on Friday morning but I bet they pack out on weekends. We will definitely return to try other menu options.

I have been coming here for a few years now and have always had a very good experience every time. Parking is always good and available, even when they are busy. The restaurant itself is always clean and orderly. And the staff is always friendly and efficient. My favorite go-tos are the Queso Blanco and the Chicken Fajitas. The Queso is second to none. The Chicken Fajitas always have a nice wood grilled flavor to them that is sure to please you! A few times I have made it to dessert, but not very often. My favorite dessert herebis the churros. They are delicious in their own right, but they also give you different dipping sauces like chocolate, caramel, or even a vanilla cream. They are served hot and fresh!

When we asked the manager about it, he didn't seem to know they changed this. 10/25/25 was 8.25% tax (including alcohol in the order). All recent bills were anywhere from 13% to 16.5% hidden in the "tax" line, not even itemized. I'm sure because they know most won't realize it. This may explain why on a Friday at 5pm (even with a social hour) the bar was empty except for one other couple. Not going to reduce the stars since I like many of the long-timers that work here, but whoever is running the show now should probably re-examine their decisions. #WWFD

We sat at the bar on a Friday afternoon and were greeted by a great bartender named Edgar. He gave us a few recommendations, so we thought we'd go with his suggestions. So happy we listened! The sea bass enchiladas with charbroiled shrimp were fantastic! I absolutely wasn't expecting the depth of flavors. It was an amazing dish for sure. The charbroiled filet mignon was the star of the show however. We were not expecting such a great steak at a Mexican restaurant. The table side charring was perfect! Charred to a perfect medium rare with the right amount of seasonings. If we're ever in Dallas/Irving area...we'd definitely return! Well done.

Lol But I also want to support this small restaurant and brag about literally how delicious everything is. From the empanadas that are cheesy and meaty you could eat as a meal alone, to all the flavors of each sauce they offer is exceptional. The poblano sauce is so good, I'd like to get a job in the kitchen for the recipe. We also asked for a side of the mole sauce just to try, it was smoky, sweet, and the right amount of spices. The tacos remind me of the tacos I get in Mexico with the grilled pineapple and picked onions. The salsa offered with the chips is warm and I love that. Will definitely be a go to restaurant for me. I forgot to snap a picture but I'll list some things I tried: Empanadas- 10/10- a must order. Flavor, texture, and taste are all amazing. Molé enchiladas- the molé is so good- especially for Dallas since most places are Tex Mex and molé is more Mexican. Definitely order if this is in your "taste profile." Lunch specials- I don't even know if this is on their website but they have a great lunch menu and they have a lunch combo special where you can pick two items for $10.50 and it comes with rice and beans. I ordered the cheese enchilada and the mini chimichanga. Full disclosure I didn't eat the mini chimichanga because I didn't know it was covered in queso and I hate queso (unpopular opinion- I know). I loved the enchilada though and it had chili con carne sauce which was delicious. Rice and beans were also very good. Next time I'll just say no queso on the chimi. The restaurant is really tiny but cozy and you can tell it is family owned. Definitely will be a regular spot for me and will be back.

The manager also came and gave us free beef fajita samples since he found out it was our first time. The flavor and juiciness of the beef blew me away. My wife and I got queso to compliment the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa and bean dips. I was a big fan of the beans too, didn't think I would be. We ended up getting a trio (beef, chicken, shrimp) fajita 1/2 pound and it was perfect for the 2 of us. You can taste the grilled and charred flavor on the meats. The chicken and shrimp were slightly on the drier side but when combined with the sour cream, beans, guac, cheese, they were perfection. For the two people, the limitation ended up being more the toppings to the fajitas but it was just enough. At about $25 for 2, that was a steal. The queso was about $9. Right before we were about to leave, Kayla recommended the tres leches dessert and you know we had to try it. It was solid. Loved the cream on top. Definitely would come back again!

On our way back from Asia, my husband and I had a stop through the DFW area and immediately decided…read morethat we needed to take advantage of being back near a region that really knows Mexican food. Living in Sioux Falls has many positives, but distinct and deeply flavorful Mexican cuisine is unfortunately still something that's a little harder to come by compared to places like Arizona or Texas. So, we made it a point to stop at Lupe Tortilla while passing through Irving. The first thing we noticed was how packed the restaurant was during lunch. People were pouring in steadily, and the atmosphere had that energetic local favorite feeling where you know people come because they genuinely enjoy the food. Thankfully, the meal itself delivered. Now, was it the absolute best Mexican food I've ever had? No. But it was still leagues beyond most of what we've experienced lately back home in South Dakota. The carne asada especially stood out. The portion was massive, tender, and packed with smoky, savory flavor. You could immediately tell it had actually spent some time on a grill instead of simply being rushed out of a kitchen. We also enjoyed the tacos, enchiladas, and burritos, all of which had that comforting Tex-Mex richness and seasoning that we've really missed. Unfortunately, we were on a fairly tight travel schedule and couldn't linger the way we would have liked. Honestly, this felt like the sort of place where you could easily sit awhile longer, enjoy another drink, sample more dishes, and just soak in the lively atmosphere. Still, even as a quick stop, it was a great experience and a delicious reminder of how much we miss the bold Mexican food culture of the Southwest.
