My wife took my **2004 Ford Crown Victoria with only 140,000 miles** to T & D Auto because it developed a strange noise and was smoking. After looking at it, they told us the **entire engine needed to be replaced** and quoted us **approximately $9,000**. **Nine thousand dollars for a 2004 Crown Vic.** Fortunately, I decided to inspect the car myself before authorizing such an outrageous repair. The problem wasn't a blown engine at all. When I had previously replaced the alternator, **I had accidentally left the alternator bolts loose**. The alternator shifted, contacted the belt, and caused the noise and smoke. I tightened the alternator correctly, and the "bad engine" magically disappeared. Since then, I've driven the car **thousands of miles** without a single engine problem. Based on my experience, I have **serious concerns about the accuracy of the diagnosis** I was given. Had I trusted it without question, I would have spent thousands of dollars replacing a perfectly good engine. My advice: **Always get a second opinion before approving major repairs here.** It may save you thousands of dollars. I can only speak to what happened to me, but this experience completely destroyed my confidence in this shop. I will never return, and I cannot recommend them to anyone. Rapidly losing air, I pulled in the parking lot and parked parallel to a car hauler to diagnose my issue. No speedco at this loves location, so I went inside and the nice girl in there recommended this company which is only a few miles away. The owner answered the phone, and I told him I blew a can... I then decided to reassess in case I was wrong, and I was, it was the valve underneath my catwalk. He told me he would have someone dispatched within an hour. I immediately called him back to tell him what it actually was, but he already knew! Hahaha!!! He said "Yeah I kind of figured that... Don't worry, we got it!" An hour later, almost to the minute, him and his wife pull up and one of the nicest lifted Black widow edition Chevy duallys I've ever seen in my life, and called my mechanic and asked him where he was, even though he wasn't even late yet! Super nice couple. Anyways they pulled off in a few minutes later my mechanic came and began wrenching to replace my valve. He had my valve changed out in about 20 minutes, literally 2 minutes before a torrential downpour started. He told me the owner was back on his way for me to remit payment. I waited a few minutes, and the owner and his wife came back, settled up my bill which was very very reasonable and I was on my way! From the time I made the call, to the time I paid my bill, just at 2 hours! There's only one other mechanic/shop that I have ever dealt with on this level. They are the Pinnacle of service, pricing, and efficiency. Can't thank you guys enough! I wish your mechanic would be able to follow me all over the country and assist with my breakdowns when I needed it hahaha!! I recommend everyone to use this company. To the rescue (and at 1230 in the evening, ADG Road Services would come to my aid just North of Daytona Beach, Fl. We ended up meeting at WalMart parking lot. They ran a regen of the DEF system (12 error codes) which cleared up one of my issues. Through checking that DEF was good, they discovered had a throttle issue which they fixed in the spot. It was now close to 330am. I followed them to a lock truck stop where they verified all the changes they made worked well. It is two days later and I have received several follow up calls asking how it is going. Well unfortunately I have a coolant leak now and have only made it to Savannah, GA. I still have been getting follow-up calls. They even offered to come help us out even today while we are in GA. One to five rating - they are a TEN.

We had the worst customer service and experience with this company…read more We had a leaking hose on our transmission and called AC hydraulics for the repair. This change the hose and fitting, and the engine leaked worse and they came back out to change the washer on the fitting. Then they charged my card a second time to repair the fitting they originally did incorrect. After changing the washer again, we left the dock and the leak still persisted. We called PIRTEK and the tech came out and confirmed they used the incorrect washer and was shocked they would double charge and not warranty any work. I called to speak with the manager (DAVID) at AC hydraulics and he immediately blew up on the phone. I've never had such a disrespectful conversation from a manager at a company. He yelled on the phone, and stated once you left the dock that's on you and they weren't doing anything about it and then hung up the phone. Literally they did the work, we left the dock and leaked worse than it did originally, and the companies response is too bad, after you used the motor at all that's on you. Unbelievable, avoid this company at ALL costs.
