I needed a radiator replaced. Dropped the car off, and it sat there for almost a full week. When I got the estimate it was more than 4x what I ended up paying a different place... Not calling them, or anyone shady, and I get wanting to make a profit, we all have to, but the service was poor/slow, and they were either trying to make a good little spla$h on me, or wanted to do a ton more then what was required. I am NO mechanic, but so repairs are not complex. I hope others have a better result! read more

Came in with starting concerns and some corrosion buildup on my battery. Plus, my TPMS light has been on forever which I've had it looked at before at another shop. They got me in in about a week as they were very busy and this was right before Thanksgiving which makes everyone's week short. They checked everything out with a few different methods and assured me everything was fine besides some corrosion buildup which was preventing my battery from making a good connection. They also cleaned up the terminals and let me know the TPMS was reading like there aren't sensors and to not waste my money as they couldn't guarantee their work which was a great honest response. I've been to Theresa's about a year ago. Great brake job great price great people. Well yesterday sept 7 I was on my way to dinner with friends when we started to head a thumping in the rear of my car. It actually felt like an axle or rear end was falling out. Well I was on Nova road so thinking this was a serious issue I decided I'd drive to Theresa's instead of home. I figured I would have to leave it and get a diagnosis a day later. Well I pulled into their lot and went inside and was met but a delightful young person with painted fingernails. I told him what was going on and without hesitation he went and got a mechanic to take a look. Turns out there was a huge lag bolt stuck in rear tire and tire was flat. They said well let's see if it will hold air and it did temporarily. They advised I go down to discount tire which I did and they replaced tire. Needed an oil change and saw reviews of this business on various social media platforms with glowing reports. Called yesterday just to book an appointment and mentioned that there was a faint chirping or whirling noise in the front of the car. The young man Maverick, Jr. recommended I come in immediately for them to check it out as there was concern it might be a bad wheel bearing. Despite the fact that I was not a prior customer, it was not even a factor in determining that they were concerned about me driving in what potentially could be a dangerous situation, especially in this summer weather with 100 degree plus heat index. Luckily I was able to head right over but when I arrived I saw the lot was extremely full and they were very busy. Regardless of that, they took the time to immediately take the car out for a test drive and diagnosed a bad harmonic balancer. Since they had to wait for the part, they provided shuttle service back to my work by the friendliest driver Dave AND provided the same service the next morning after the car was repaired and fully serviced. Needless to say the entire experience was stellar! Less than 24 hour turnaround time - from initial contact simply making an appointment to being safely back on the road. My nephews jeep broke down on him in Daytona. He is a student there and we live in Tennessee so I have no connections in that area to ask for recommendations which can be scary when it comes to car repair because I have no idea what repairs are real and what fair really looks like. I took my chances and followed the yelp reviews to Theresa's and all I have to say is thank you to all the Yelpers our there who for your recommendation. Theresa's did three things that I really appreciate. 1. When I called and explained the issue (to the best of my ability) they listened and gave feedback. Most shops just grunt and tell they can't tell you anything unless you bring it to them. They told me they would do a diagnostic check and let me know the issue and cost of repair for free. 2. They set a realistic expectation of time! I called on Saturday, made an appointment for Wednesday (first they had available, good sign, right?). I asked if he could drop it off that day since it was sitting in the parking lot where it broke down. They said sure and if they had an opening before my appointment they'd try to jump on it sooner 3. They gave my nephew a full breakdown of what needed to be done and why, and they told him what they recommended to do as a precaution while they were in there but let him know it was optional and could wait if need be. My nephew is 19 and by himself, they could have told him the rotator splint was shot and needed a new flux capacitor and he wouldn't have know the difference so really appreciate that they didn't try to throw a bunch of unnecessary stuff on there just because they could. The best part of it all was that they had us a quote on Monday and had my nephew back on the road Tuesday, a day before our appointment for inspection! Afterwards I sent the bill to a mechanic friend of mine to get his opinion and he backed everything they said and was pleased with the price as well. It's nice to know there are trustworthy people out there doing the right thing and that they are there if ever he should need them again. My family has used Teresa for a few years, no issues. However, we recently had our car in for service, which was a huge disappointment. Shortly after service, a cover fell off the car. Turns out one bolt was snapped off, another was cross threaded and not tightened. Teresa refused to take responsibility for what would have been a fairly minor fix. Over the last 15 years I have had x2 Hondas, now x2 Toyotas. Theresa is honest (to a fault) and the quality of work that she manages to provide (as the owner) is exemplary! We had a Honda Odyssey with 220K miles that she and her staff examined and advised us to not spend another dime on. She has always, without fail, advised us on what our cars need and we heed her advice. Brakes, timing belt, general maintenance and related service and our cars last. That Odyssey lasted 20 years before we all agreed to give it its lasts rites. And, the price for the work is much better than the Dealership! UNBELIEVEABLE BUSINESS! My son is in Daytona for the Summer Leadership Program through Campus Outreach and we are 7 hours away from him. His check engine light came on. Not being from the area or knowing anyone there, I googled shops close to him and thank goodness I found Theresa's Garage. I called and spoke to Steve and he advised to have him stop in. My son went right in and they checked out the car right away, topped off some fluids and sent him on his way. And, they did it for no charge. Now that is unreal in this day and time!
