As for Conrad's painting, He did my entire first floor and it was soot damaged and in very bad shape. There were a few details that I was not happy with. Conrad was more than happy to come back with pleasure and take care of more than a few minor details until I was completely satisfied. He came back twice. Once on a Sunday. I felt like I was being a stickler about details but all he wanted was for me to be happy. He remained a professional gentleman. Here is the final results. (Every other person we emailed for a quote did the same. None came to visit, and with COVID I was cool with that.) His quote was consistent with most of the other highly rated folk we reached out to for quotes. What set him apart was his clear emails with detailed pricing. It was clear that he knew painting was expensive, and people imagine doing everything at once and think of it as all-or-nothing. His pricing model showed it was some-at-a-time. (We did go all in though :) ) He was very responsive on email and answered questions from the mundane to the esoteric with patience and clarity. He came the day before the job was supposed to start to drop off supplies and map out everything that was should happen with me and his team. His team was great, polite, and professional. The speed and quality of the work was amazing. Everyone was happy to answer questions and explain what was happening. For me, the true test was with an accident that happened. Relatively minor, but Damian took full ownership and made it right without any discussion. That is how you do it. He gave great advice throughout the process, and respected what I needed. Have already asked for quotes on additional spaces in the house. Highly recommend.

My walls are old, but that has nothing to do with the painters' sloppy work. For A G Williams, it seems that finishing the painting as quickly as possible takes precedence over a job well done. Ten to twelve years ago I had the place painted by my Contractor's general workers. These workmen provided an excellent paint job at a reasonable cost. Unfortunately, this time I hired A G Willams. I did so because of A G William's reputation for excellence and superior work provided by skilled painters. The only thing "superior" about A G Williams is the high prices they charge. Beware.
