Reiterating all the previous reviews here - Keith and his team are incredible. Keith was professional, responsive, easy-going, and someone you can trust to give you an honest and in depth assessment. He also goes out of his way to help out his clients! He knew we were rushing to get painting done before moving into a new house and was able to find a way to fit both the assessment visit and the painting itself into his schedule over weekends with just 1-2 weeks notice. We had 3 bedrooms and 2 offices fully repainted, as well as some touch ups in the living room where there was some light damage from the previous owners. The touch ups were supposed to be pretty low lift, but Keith ended up redoing some walls fully since he didn't want to risk colors not matching (and he didn't charge for it when I insisted! He is clearly a perfectionist!). His team also did an incredible job prepping the place and cleaning up, even finishing earlier than expected - you can tell they are efficient and really pay attention to details from end to end. We were so thrilled by the job that he and his team did and the unique character each of our rooms have now. Keith did an excellent job painting my entire apartment, did it in a short amount of time, and at a very reasonable price! I wanted to post a picture of the work, but honestly, it is what you would NOT see that is impressive. I hadn't painted my apartment in over a decade. There was water damage from a leaky roof. There was bad touch up painting (done by me to cover up other damage). There were deep cracks, deep holes (I drilled the holes, and again did more damage). Now you see NOTHING! I'm selling my apartment, and I know first hand how a bad paint job can lower the sale price, and how much a great paint job can increase the sale price. Keith and his team did a GREAT job. They haven't even finished and I'm already obsessed! Keith and his team (shout out to the clairvoyant Richard - but seriously, he knew my birth month and guessed my parents professions...? WUT) are excellent - diligent workers, great with prep and all around nice! 5 stars for professionalism, punctuality, response time and price. Keith was courteous to communicate with, arrived to the job early, and flexibly worked with me and my tight timeline. He prepped the area thoroughly. He helped patch a hole behind the fridge and painted our ceiling which was not planned. But I need to remove a star because Keith really kinda skimped on some detailed areas - the detail work was just not up to par, it was rather sloppy. I was expecting perfection. There were many missed borders/corners where the original paint color showed through. We had to repaint the areas he missed. I realize the confidence of an experienced painter in not taping straight edges like where the ceiling meets the wall, but he went over the edges/border with the new color onto the white ceiling. Perhaps paint would have helped prevent those mistakes. He also painted over sprayed on a large area that had been sprayed with silicon near a cabinet panel/wall corner, without trying to really assess or remove the silicon beforehand. This trial and error added time to the job and it was sloppy so we had to ask him to repaint it. He didn't ask us to remove cabinet doors so he could paint with the new color up to where the cabinets were mounted. We had to do that after he left. For price and speed, can't go wrong, but don't expect absolute perfection on the detailed areas. read more

Keith and QFP are AMAZING! Here's our story: My husband and I just spent our entire combined savings on our first apartment down payment and mortgage/common charges and we were struggling to find a painter who could correct some of the issues the precious owner had created trying to get the apartment ready to be listed for sale. Wrong type of paint that was chipping away all over the apartment, holes in the drywall patched awfully and some not at all, paint on things that shouldn't have been painted, including the emergency sprinkler heads (which are a LOT to repair, FYI)! It created a lot of unexpected additional financial drain for us to repair things and the seller wasn't willing to help correct the issues their previous painter created. When I was searching for a painter, I had a lot of issues with finding someone who would reply at all, let alone within 3 business days, as well as who could give us a quote within a week or two or was who willing to assess the place (virtual or in person) at all. We were hoping to paint before we moved in, so we were pretty upfront with companies about the 3 week timeline we were hoping for, which for most wasn't an issue, but the slow reply times or no reply wasted at least a week of time. Finally, with a week and a half left until our move, my husband found Keith and QFP and - I sh*t you not - we had an assessment, quote and scheduled painters with a COI for our building all in 3 days. In New York City. Like, what?? I was SHOOK. No headache? No back and forth? And not only that, but during our assessment Keith pointed out areas to us that may require a little extra work, explained why and what it would take to repair and then asked us if we wanted to repair each thing. Many of these things were subtle, so he made sure to explain that they weren't necessary and he didn't want to do it and charge us if it wasn't something we wanted/felt was important. This also included the best type of paint and level of gloss appropriate for trim/doors/etc. according to our lifestyle, dog and future kid! HOW RARE IS THAT? Someone trying to help you understand what is needed or not and why, instead of just making as much money as possible. Such a breath of fresh air. On the days the guys came to paint, they were so kind and respectful and genuinely a pleasure to interact with. At the end of the two day job, we ended up fairly friendly and laughing a lot with Keith and the guys - had a great experience having them in our home. We also noticed that they ended up repairing some of the drywall things that we hadn't requested them to and when my husband told Keith he didn't have to do that for us, Keith said he just couldn't let it go because the couple things he fixed were poorly done and shouldn't have happened in the first place. It was so thoughtful! I can't remember the last time a company was able to build this level of trust and actually follow through on it. Overall, Keith is an impressive and respected business owner with a ton of experience who knows his work and wants to help his clients as much as he can. This is evident in his approach, planning, behavior and product. Our home looks INCREDIBLE and we are so thankful. 15/10, will hire again for any painting needs. Keith is phenomenal and I strongly recommend him! My wife and I were moving into a new place and wanted to get it painted before dumping a bunch of our stuff in the place. Since we weren't going to be there to supervise the painting process, we made an extremely detailed paint plan with colors and rooms. Keith really took the time to review it, ask intelligent questions, and came back with a fully itemized estimate that covered all the costs and ended up being right in line with what we were expecting. Meanwhile, all the other contractors we talked to immediately threw out some insanely high number for a job that basically amounted to painting an empty apartment and no trim! Keith was the only one who actually bothered to read the plan we'd invested a good deal of time into and quote a fair price for the job complete with a price breakdown. Communication was quick, clear and professional throughout. As for the job itself, it was done flawlessly! Everything was painted properly and professionally just as agreed.
