We had been to the restaurant that was there before and the ambiance is similar. Clean and open. No complaints there. Pricing.....very very reasonable. We had one cocktail each, steak and chicken and it was under $100 minus the tip. That's nice!!! Cocktails...the star of the show was the Ashland Sunset....ya had us at Amaretto. So good it's a must!! Now to the food part and I'm gonna be honest cause you know that's how I roll. My sister ordered the filet and I ordered the Tuscan Chicken with Gnocchi. The food reminded me of catered food you would get at a so so wedding. The chicken medallions were just blah. Something about it tasted artificial. Processed or something. I can't put my finger on it but when I think Chophouse I think high quality & this didn't quite make the mark for me. However, for the price it was a good meal. The Shakery is a cool "Mom & Pops" eater with a plethora of sweet treats. There is a place to stand and order outside, a drive thru, outside seating and indoor seating. There sweet treats vary from classic shakes to "blizzard-like" shakes, sundaes, specialty shakes, banana splits & slushies.
