We stopped for a late bite. I was a little queasy so I ordered the pepperoni rolls. I'm glad I did, they were really good. My husband ordered the Italian. He said it was pizza good it had lots of meat and cheese. The marinara is tasty too. It's on the sweet side, but awesome nonetheless. The service is from the counter and was quick and polite. This place was talked up quite a bit by my local friend, though in the end it didn't have much to offer except greasy food at inflated prices relative to its quality. Came here a little while ago at the urging of a local and was not blown away by any particular feature of the place. The pizza is okay but by no means noteworthy, the wings taste like they came straight from a bag you'd buy in the frozen foods section at a grocery store, and the service staff members were pretty uninterested in being there. There's a little parking out front though you might not be able to find a space on Friday and Saturday nights. This is right next to Marshall campus so that makes up most of the clientele. Unless you have a soft spot in your heart for "greasy spoon" type places, you can safely give this one a pass and know you aren't missing much. Overall: 2.0 stars ---- Pros: - Food is decent but not great. - Street parking is available in front. - It's very close to campus so there's enough security around to keep this spot fairly safe. Cons: - Nothing good enough on the menu to really warrant a trip. Same with the drink menu. - Prices are surprisingly high for what they offer. If you're going to be average, you should at least be cheap. - Service staff are physically present but that's all that can be said for them. - Seating is uncomfortable if you plan on staying longer than 5-10 minutes. That's probably on purpose so they can make use of their relatively few tables. read more

I had not ordered from them in a long time. So I decided to order a calzone cheese sticks and a drink. The manager was rude from the moment I started to speak about the order being Burnt & the sauces were just poured all over the calzone & my cheese sticks. Then he said he could remake it or refund it and I said that is fine I would like a refund. He said he would send the driver back to pick up the burnt cheese sticks & calzone. The driver was DISGUSTING, he smelled like he has not even showered & was wearing clothes soiled in dirt. We will probably not ever order from then again! My boyfriend loved them but they seem to have gone down hill in the last year or more! Very sad! read more

I arrived at my hotel after an 8 hour drive and ordered from this DP Dough thorough Door Dash which listed 30 - 40 min delivery. After ordering I received a notice that DP Dough delivery would be in charge of delivering the order. (so glad I paid that Door Dash fee). I ordered at 9pm and at almost 11pm received my order. It took them 2 hours to deliver a lukewarm "calzone" which was ham and pineapple stuffed into a premade flatbread type thing. The mozzarella was sliced - and was just laying on top of the ham - it had never been hot enough to even melt the slices. The delivery and food were both awful. read more

a pretty good spot to eat junk food lunch, dinner and late dinner! i love the Pesto Zone the most out of the ones that i've tried. this is a restaurant just like what you can would expect to see a ton of on a college campus. huge portions of crave-able greasy food at a restaurant open really late. i like it but it's definitely dive-y. it even makes you smell like stale grease depending on how long you stay. Love this place! Their open fairly late which helps calm my inner college student hunger at midnight. Yes. Eat here if you want your belly full of Italianess. I'm Italian and I like to eat. I'm from the east coast and this is the closest calzone I can find. They even give you warm marinara. In WV that's unheard of. They also have ice cream and cookies whaaaaaaa. It's a drunk meal haven. read more

Listen here folks, I'm fat and italian and these are some of the best calzones I have ever had. Fast, courteous service with a reasonably priced menu. My favorite is the Combat Zone and don't forget to "Hook it Up" with garlic. Whenever I'm in town for a football game this is my go-to post bar food of choice. I also grab one on my way out of town. They have the best wings, hands down. They are baked instead of fried - so you don't have to worry about all of the extra calories in the oil. Their delivery can take *forever,* though. Great food, reasonably priced, have a rewards program. Their huge pit fall is their delivery service. this food should in no way be labeled as fast food. The quickest you'll get your food is about an hour and a half But I've had food take literally 4 hours before. I honestly forgot I ordered food it took so long and was already in bed asleep. Bad thing I always tip way over hoping it'll make them hurry with my food and that's never the case. I used to be a big fan of DP Dough's (having eaten there more than any other place in Huntington) until one of its drivers showed up at our door recently yelling, cursing and trying to act physically intimidating. Based on his behavior, he appeared drunk, high (or maybe both). When I contacted the manager immediately thereafter to discuss the driver's behavior, I was unceremoniously told that nothing of consequence would be done about it. Very small portions and way overpriced. I ordered two "construction zones" at 7.75 apiece. You're supposed to be allowed 5 "ingredients" on it so I ordered extra of some and it was more like they halved all of the portions. Extremely small portions and WAY overpriced.
