We hired this company quite a while ago for a paving project. The finished product came out great,…read moreand we were very happy with that portion of the work. During the job, however, our garage door and the surrounding metal casing were damaged. To his credit, he offered to file an insurance claim. We agreed instead on a simpler solution--he offered to come back and seal the driveway at no cost. Since then, I've followed up multiple times over an extended period to try to schedule the sealing, but unfortunately haven't been able to get a response. I'm sharing this not to be negative, but in hopes of reconnecting and getting this resolved. The work itself was strong, and based on that experience, I'd still like to see this situation brought to a fair close.

He was incredibly helpful in explaining the pros and cons of each tree being cut down. He explained that cutting some of them down could have potential negative impacts on the surrounding tree. This transparency gave me a lot of confidence in Down East Tree doing the work. Other companies that provided quotes just gave me a number to remove the trees with no other information. I ended up getting one large pine taken down that was wedged between power lines. Throughout the multi-day process Carlos and his crew where constantly cleaning the site. The work was done quickly and with no issues. All communication during the process was professional and courteous. If I have any tree work in the future I would work with Down East Tree again.
