Endy's crew handed my husband a bill for $450, which my husband paid in full by personal check. I have used Endy before; he's pleasant and his workers do what they are told. But I immediately emailed him (and he called me back). I told him I had not authorized them to come on that day. When I got home, I saw they hadn't left the wood chips; therefore we only owed them $350. Therefore I was overcharged by $100 and I had not agreed that his crew could come - on the day they showed up.

Acknowledging my concerns, he offered advice and developed a proposal. (I appreciated that he told me where and how I could manage some of my own tree work.) I received an immediate verbal quote; a formal written summary and authorization followed shortly thereafter. As is common throughout the service industry, it did take time to have the work done. I was not in immediate need and did not press. When the crew came out they worked efficiently and effectively and left me with a yard free of debris and trees culled of crossed branches and dead limbs.
