Lots of beer options! Inside seating is limited during Apres ski. A few outdoor fire pits available. A couple food truck options for food. Friendly service and great recommendations.

    Inside

The beer is great, the vibe is chill, it's cute inside and out, and the food trucks are awesome! Best sandwiches ever.

Beer was great, loved the swag they had. Also liked the view of the ski area. The signs in the parking lot were great, just need to add Wall Drug to the signpost!

Great brewery for a relaxing time with friends! It was super easy to find, plenty of parking, with food trucks parked in front of the entrance (we got food at the Crepes Paris food truck and it was delicious!). The brewery has plenty of space, I wager can probably sit over 100 people. I went on Monday afternoon and the seating was abundant. The drinks were very good as well. I had a nitro cold brew coffee and it was smooth, hit the spot for me. Tastes strong and just right. The flight from left to right is called "no woman no cryo", "funk berry pie", "hippie speedball" (coffee stout), and last one on the right edge of the photo is "Ullr Fuelr" (pastry stout). I very much liked the coffee stout, went down dark and smooth, since I'm a coffee lover already. The funk berry pie was also quite tasty, but I would say it is on the sour side so beware of that haha. as for the pastry style, it is a little sweet for my taste, but if you like a sweet coffee, you may want to give this a try. The " no woman, no cryo" was a very good IPA, so if you are a fan of IPA beers, you should definitely give this one ago. Since it's a brewery, the service is really just at the bar where you're getting your drinks, and the bartender was great, very friendly, approachable, efficient. But then again we did arrive at a time when there were not too many people. So wait times may work very based on crowd I presume. But the brewery is very clean and has plenty of seats so I definitely think it's worth checking out if you like beers and food truck gourmet! (The food truck food from the crêpe place will be posted on its own if I can find the food truck on yelp)

    Excellent food!

We had a great visit to the brewery. The food truck we ordered from was excellent and the beer, cider and root beer we tried were all delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were excited to see a moose and her calf eating on the side of the parking lot which was a real treat. The brewery has really nice seating areas, many with fire pits which was really nice.

Was staying at the resort and decided to take a 30 min walk to come try the drinks and also the food trucks that are scheduled. Staff was nice and place is clean and roomy. The drink options are wide and varied. The ones I had were great. Would come back again if I had the time.

A quaint brewery in the heart of Girdwood. They have unique decor that goes with the skiing/snowboarding vibe. They have 3 food trucks outside to order food. They were very helpful and built the flight with their most popular beers. We enjoyed a bit of relaxing time with AMAZING views! This place just has very beautiful views to the surrounding mountains! Be prepared to show ID for alcoholic beverages, but they do have 4 non alcoholic options (2 beers, 1 root beer and 1 kombucha). This is a very casual place that can be family friendly for after hitting the slopes.

Loved it! Four of us visited Girdwood while in the area for dinner later at the Double Musky Inn. We each had a tap beer and sat outside on benches, shaded by an tent-like shelter. What an amazing August day. Sunny and warm (not hot). Relaxing outdoors with some good brews. Had we not had dinner plans, we may have opted to eat from the several food trucks here at Girdwood. I'd definitely come back to Girdwood Brewing Company.

Chill | merch | flight Chill: Overall, the vibe of the brewery is chill. It's close to the ski slope and has a pretty no-frills approach with two sitting areas for groups to unite and fellowship. If you want a place to chill, have a beer, and talk, it's a great spot. Merch: they have tons of merch hats, beanies, tees, sweaters, hoodies, and flannels, all with the Girdwood emblem on them, so if you want a keepsake from your time on the slopes of the city of Girdwood, there's a great place to stop in have a drink and grab a souvenir. Flight: I had a beer flight, and I had a range of items at a cider logger, a tropical IPA, and another dark stout. All were tasty. They have various items on tap, and The Staff is very knowledgeable about the pros and cons of each drink. The prices are surprisingly reasonable, given Alaska's proximity to the slopes. Pro Tip: Try their in-house root beer. I had 2 cups of it, which was pretty delicious--some of the best root beer I've had in Alaska. Pro tip: the parking lot is a good barometer for space. The parking lot is packed then the brewery is packed, and vice versa.

Great beer! Had the stout and loved it!! Fun ambiance and food trucks outside. Staff were great. Also good merch selection

I love visiting Girdwood Brewing whenever I'm in Girdwood or driving through. Their bar tenders are always knowledgeable and kind and there's always seating inside or outside. The fire pits outside make it a fantastic place to sit in the summer and winter. Their beer selection is great and provides options for people who do/don't like IPAs or other types of beers. They tend to have a great selection of food trucks outside as well. Although anchorage has a great selection of breweries, Girdwood Brewing is a fantastic option to and always worth the stop in

    Emily S.

Girdwood brewing is a must if you're in the area! They have a run rotation of seasonal and adventurous styles as well as their classics. Fun patio in the summer and food truck rotation all week long!

    Molly S.

Great brewery and outdoor seating options! Dog friendly!! They also have food trucks outside with tasty options! I tried the bagel place which was delicious!!

    Samplers and a stout!

Unfortunately, they do not offer beer flights, so Colby created his own half-glass sampler, which did the trick. The brewery itself was pretty neat, with large beer barrels incorporated into the décor, including one that guests can actually sit in. Their beer selection was on the smaller side, but we felt the prices were fair. I ordered the Blind Berry Cider, which had a pleasantly tart flavor, though it leaned toward the extra sour side. We thought this spot was great for Instagram photos and a worthwhile stop if you have some extra time while you're in town. Overall, it was okay. I do wish we had known about the outdoor seating options beforehand, as we found the indoor seating area to be somewhat limited. The glassware was pretty cool as well, with several different sizes available. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely return if we find ourselves back in town again.

They have a way to always suggest the best beer depending on what you are in the mood for. All in all, this brewery is a great place to meet up with friends or family.

Besides this, everything else was great so I did not deduct any stars. Let me explain. We were a party of 4 and just arriving from NY, we were hungry. We walked in at about 4:30-4:45. We asked for a table for 4. We were told the wait will be over an hour. They asked if we would like to sit at the bar area, same food and probably would get service quicker. I said sure. We both want to look for a table and there were none, so I just told the staff that we will go to the bar area and wait while having a drink. We were given a buzzer. We came across a Maria bar table with a nice couple sitting there, and 2 open seats. I asked if we could sit there and they said of course. They then Deb moved over 2 seats arguing gave us 4 seats. I was do thankful for them being so nice that I picked up their bar tab. I noticed that the dining area has at least 5 open tables for 4 and 1 for 6+. I went up to the desk and told them this. I was told they were fit reservations and I couldn't have a table. Long story short, 45 min went guy and there were still open tables, I E's not happy and let them know. By this time though, our waiter Marco cans over to us and said he would take care of us, which he did. I told the front desk to forget our table and have them the buzzer back. ** My review starts*** Marco was a great waiter taking excellent care of us. We had a great time with Marco and our new friends next to us. I ordered the halibut stuffed with crab which was outstanding. My wife ordered the salmon which was delicious as well, I particularly enjoyed the crispy skin of the salmon, yum!!! Our friends ordered the fried calamari which he enjoyed and his wife had the salmon over a Ceaser salad. To finish it off, I had to get the lava cake for dessert.....hey, why not, I'm in vacation lol! Everything was great, the food delicious, Super Marco s the best!!! Great service and a great time. Just a shame it didn't start off on the right foot. Lesson: make a reservation!!!!!

This brewery blocked me on Instagram…read more Before I headed there last night for a dear friend's birthday and I wanted to check to see if there would be a foodtruck. They kept not coming up in the IG search results...weird. I initially was worried they went out of business because it said their IG page was down. I warned the birthday girl that maybe that had suddenly closed and joked "unless I'm blocked, lol" to which she replied "they blocked you!" So weird and so sad. Never in my 267 brewery reviews on Yelp has a brewery blocked me from their IG. (that I know of, lol) My only interactions with them on IG are to re-share their reels so my friends know what beers they have on tap or what food truck is out front. I guess if I had to guess it would be that my 3-star review about their being the only brewery in Anchorage that doesn't allow you to taste their beer first must've struck such a nerve that they researched to find what IG account is connected to my Yelp account, and then blocked me. Really disappointing, I always thought the owner/brewer seemed cool but I guess he has thin skin. Their Anchorage-style Pilsner is still one of the best beers in town, hopefully I'll get a pint tonight. Last night I had a west coast IPA and a Cold IPA. Both were good. The fact that you have 3 different IPAs on tap combined with a 3 drink limit by the state of Alaska...really speaks to why tastes are helpful. Still the worst name of any brewery.
