Tried the taro milk tea, spam musubi, and toppoki. The taro milk was creamy and not overly sweet (definitely my most favorite) the spam musubi was freshly made, and the combo had great flavor and very filling. Would definitely come back to try more. read more

The milk tea is alright, the sushi is ok but the lady microwaves the food. Me being big and all, I can tell when it's microwaved and it doesn't help you can clearly hear the microwave behind the counter. If she's able to open a store like that and microwave, so can everyone else. But if I had to rate it I'd give it a 7/10 not too bad but she could have more workers, even just standing there microwaving, doesn't hurt to have 10 microwaves.. lol read more

Came here for dessert because of the good reviews. We got the Alaskan snow and it was interesting. The flavor of the shaved ice was said to be vanilla but it had a very strange flavor. I'm not sure how to even describe it but it was artificial and off putting. The toppings were little to none. There was maybe 3/4 of a single strawberry, 6 mini mochi pieces, and some what tasted like canned mango. I would not recommend coming to this place for dessert. read more

I've gone to this place twice and both times the lady up front who I'm presuming to be the owner has been rude asf. both times tries to belittle me and my diverse friends. we asked for a smoothie once and she gave us a milk tea. After explaining it was wrong and telling her we'd pay the difference she said multiple times " I do not mishear things and that next time we should review the order and tell her it's incorrect" we then told her we understood even though we all heard our friend say smoothie and that wed just pay the difference. She then said she would only this once do so and that in the future we should SPEAK UP louder and then she wouldn't have to mishear us. After receiving the smoothie she told us "next time you come in speak louder and we won't have anymore issues" this is not the first time she's tried to belittle us. What more could I ask for? Yupdduk consists of rice cakes (my fave!), fish cakes, and ramen covered in a yummy gochujang sauce. Sweet and a little spicy. It's also topped with seaweed rolled rice, potstickers, boiled eggs, and cheeeeese. I also ordered some bulgogi gimbap to try. Everything was fantastic! We had plenty of leftovers and the price is definitely worth it with such an amount of food. Service was good and quick, especially for a Saturday evening. We ordered 2 smoothies and their fries. Waited 30 mins. And the folks who ordered 5 mins after us received their order 10 minutes before us. The fries that was served were soggy and uncooked. Used to love this place when I worked at the University Center. But they are no longer a frozen yogurt place. They blocked the frozen yogurt dispenser side for a storage space and now just serving milk tea, smoothie, italian soda, korean food, etc. Also when you pay with card, they surcharge "non-cash adjustment" to your total price, which was not explained verbally nor written anywhere. I found out on their POS screen. Because they don't even give a receipt, you would not realize you have been charged extra for paying with card, which seems to be around 5 %. read more

I've been going here since I was in college! The service is so friendly, the drinks are yummy, and the food is good! I've tried several things off of their food menu and haven't found a single thing I haven't liked. I also love that they're open until pretty late. This place is more of a 3.5-4 stars (I review on a bell curve) but I rounded up not because of the awesome milk tea but rather because they offer pudding with their milk tea! I haven't found decent pudding since San Diego. And they have food! I digress... Ordered an insanely large black milk tea, because why not... Go big or go home! Milk tea was good... Definitely powder taste... Either the tea or milk is powder, maybe both. Reminds me of Quickly or Lollicup but sightly better (3 star average, food, XL size and pudding bumped it up). Ordered a kimchi fried rice, smells great and good portion, only downside is the only protein in there is the egg on top for $11 (I'm new to AK and still have sticker shock)! I am most definitely spoiled by being a Californian because I can't justify purchasing a regular milk tea that costs me close to 6 dollars that was made out of powder and not real tea. Nonetheless, I regret my decision to even go with it after the owner have informed me it's made out of powder form. You can get those for way cheaper in more packages to make yourself at home. I can't believe this is the most views boba place here. The taste is not my cup of tea, I am very disappointed but I shouldn't have had such high expectations. I ordered a mango milk tea and a honeydew milk tea. Honeydew milk tea was fine but but when I got to the car the mango milk looked curdled like this and I went back immediately and told the owner it didn't look right. She told me there's nothing wrong with it and that no one has ever complained about this tea. The only problem was "I didn't like it." Apparently this is how this drink is supposed to look... I'm in a trip to alaska and this was my first boba here which I was excited to try. This lady was extremely rude. Pointed me in the face and said "your problem you don't like it." We were in Alaska for a two week trip traveling through various places with very limited food. Thanks to Yelp!, when we got back to Anchorage, we started looking for "Asian" food. Lo' and behold, who thought that a boba store / frozen yoghurt store would have the best Korean style boon-shik (fast food) on Earth, and in the most remote part of the US main continent. We ordered the ddeok-bok-ki, various gim-bops (Korean style sushi), Kim chi fried rice and bulgogi fried rice. They are all very authentic Korean style (and not American Korean style), and all very fresh and clean. Would highly highly recommend this place for anyone craving some Korean fast food in Alaska! read more

If you've never had this Korean dessert specialty before, you're in for quite the experience. Purists will recognize this dish as "bingsu". And there's so many different varieties available. Once, I opted for their green tea flavor. Damn, was that good. Picture a mountain of thinly-shaved ice slivers topped with green tea powder, condensed milk, almonds and a strawberry. Sounds simple, but the execution is wonderful. It's all in the pillowy soft texture of the shaved ice. You don't feel at all weighed down or heavy after this dessert. Anyway, they seem to offer quite a vast selection of Korean and American food here. A few people were ordering their tteokbokki to-go, so it may be worth trying. read more
