Generous portions! Even my half order of eggplant Parmesan was almost too much. Of course that maybe because I devoured the yummy mushroom risotto. My husband's order of sausage and peppers was not only beautiful with vibrant colored peppers but the sausage was perfect. Not too greasy with a little spice. Drove down from OKC for dinner and it was well worth the drive. First of all, the drive was very scenic and easy. The family had fun on the way to the place. The building is very cool--and old bank apparently--and the food was delicious. We ordered pizza, crab cakes, Italian hoagie, meatball sandwich, chicken parmigiana, tortellini, seafood ravioli. It was all fantastic...really..all of it. We ordered the pecan pie/chocolate chip combo for dessert, and that was also awesome. What a great place. Make the drive, you'll be glad you did. read more

Ive been road tripping to this restaurant from Lawton for many years, and have never been let down. We always have satisfactory service and I just love the ambiance of this place- very quaint and personal. My favorite thing to get is the seafood lasagna or the classic spaghetti and extra meat balls. At my most recent visit, our young waitor was barely familiar with any of the wine selections and told us the only red available in a glass was sweet moscato- he did not realize chianti and cabernet were reds I don't think. He was very sweet though and we were served in a timely manner as always. I absolutely hope to return to one of my favorite authentic Italian joints. read more

I drove to Marlow for an early Saturday dinner to find this place completely packed. I'm not sure what was going on in Marlow, but apparently everyone decided to go to Giuseppe's'. I was initially told it would be a 45 minute wait. They took my phone number to text me when my table was ready. Their text system has a link to a website that tells you your place in line in case you want to check something else out while you wait. I decided to stay. My wait time was only 20 minutes, as the staff was handling the crowd very well. Upon being seated I was greeted by a very pleasant waitress. I knew what I wanted when I walked in the door so I didn't waste any time ordering. Despite being extremely busy my waitress was very attentive. I ordered crab cakes for an appetizer, and the signature lasagna as an entrée. The complementary house bread was warm, soft, and fresh. The crabcakes were not the same as they were on my last visit but, they were yummy. Lasagna was a generous portion, piping hot, topped with a simple, delicious marinara. She kept my tea glass full. I didn't leave room for dessert. I'll have to try that on my next visit The price was very reasonable considering the quality of food, and service. I left shortly after finishing my meal so they could prep the table for the waiting guests. I will definitely be back. read more

It used to be better, I have dined several times at this establishment- the atmosphere is so nice, white table clothes and white napkins, brisk building with a lot of charm, super friendly staff...its like its trying to be upscale but without being over the top. You start off with bread and salad, which I always thought the salad was a disappointment, its super shredded and smothered in the dressing, just not my cup of salad :) The main dishes I have tried venture from the shrimp pasta, to spaghetti and lasagna and overall its just okay. The sauces are good just not great. I love this place! Every time I come here the food is awesome and the employees are nice and helpful. Their eggplant parmigiana is delicious, and their alfredo sauce is rich and creamy. I love the 'frutti di mare', it's an Italian seafood dish made with spaghetti noodles, scallops, shrimp and crab with a pasta sauce. And the carrot cake and cheesecake are really good too! read more

Great Italian food in a small Oklahoma town ..... unusual to say the least. We go there at least a couple of times a month from Lawton which is about a 30 40 minute drive. The atmosphere is awesome and the staff very friendly and attentive. I love it. read more

It's been many years since we visited Giuseppe's. It's been a Marlow institution for over 20 years. We had lunch on a Thursday and it was pretty busy. The small lunch salad was just the right size, although a little skimpy on the Italian dressing. I ordered beef ravioli with marinara and my wife cheese ravioli with Alfredo. We both agreed it was outstanding. The bread was above average and service good, but a little slow. Seemed to be short handed. Full endorsement from us! read more

The ambiance was very nice with candles, low lights, and white tablecloths, the marinara tasted very fresh, the bread was soft and warm and they had a nice Italian wine selection. That being said, this place needs A LOT of work. The menu could use an overhaul, as there were entrees that I wanted yet they were pork instead of chicken, and nothing could be substituted which was unfortunate. So I had to stick with the traditional spaghetti and meat sauce. The atmosphere could use some work as they have checkered curtains that reminded me of a pizza parlor rather than fine Italian dining. The service and staff were not the friendliest, and the hostess was kind of rude. We also had a random waiter who came by and talked to us (I'm pretty sure he was high). We ordered a bottle of wine which is traditionally brought to your table unopened and then poured so you can taste and accept it. But our bottle was brought already opened...which made me suspicious about whether the wine in the bottle was what we paid for or something that they filled the original bottle with....the dishes were a little cheap, the salads came in plastic bowls which was weird. The food was ok, we were served a good portion but I've had better Italian food in Olive Garden.... They could definitely use some better marketing, a restaurant makeover, and a new head chef. I don't think there are many options in Marlow for restaurants, but G's serves surprisingly good Italian dishes with great portions. I would suggest avoiding the pizza (ick) and the cream sauces (so heavy), but the parms and the pasta dishes were commendable. I like the idea of the secret room and I hope to check it out some time. read more

Good location, nice tables, comfy Italian feel ... Makes you feel at home. Pizza was fantastic, my pesto sauce was a bit salty. The bread was excellent. Request olive oil to dip your bread, you'll thank me later. Special large orders (pan lasagne) requires 24h notice. Great spot! read more

The inside is very nice, and almost fancy. The service is excellent and they are very nice. My mom ordered the fettuccine Alfredo while I had the half and half (both lite). We were asked which dressing we wanted Italian or ranch. My mom got ranch and I got Italian. My mom said her salad was good while mine was kind of drenched with the dressing. However the salad was still delicious along with the bread. Our meals came out quick, and my mom said hers was good and I enjoyed mine as well. My half and half was a very well balanced and a very good meal, and I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Italian. read more

What a wonderful surprise in a cute little town. Our group of 3 couples wanted a high-carb meal before our first 50-mile bike ride in nearby Duncan. The reviews on Yelp rated Giuseppe's better than any other Italian restaurant around, and we were not disappointed in the least. Had some of the best spaghetti and meatball (and sausage) dinners ever, and homemade lasagna. Absolutely the best bread and desserts too!!! Service was great as well. If we lived closer, we would be frequent repeat customers. Truly looking forward to next year's Duncan bike ride. read more

Giuseppe's is the jewel of downtown Marlow. Freshly prepared pasta and decadent sauces are just the beginning, and the evening atmosphere would make you think you are in the big city with candles and wine. The only difference is that you won't be bombarded by traffic when you stuffed with all that deliciousness. Suggestions include the spinach and artichoke dip for starters, and the bread and salad with homemade Italian dressing. Then there's the beef parmigiana, the seafood lasagna or the standard lasagna "Di Giovanni" style. Finish it off with Snickers pie or tiramisu. Prices are great and so is the service. Been eating here for years and last nights service and food was the worse. I ordered an Amaretto Sour which is a very simple drink and it came in the smallest highball glass I have ever seen with no garnish. We ordered the Italian Sausage and Peppers (my husbands favorite) sausage was way overcooked and dry and the peppers were cut in such huge pieces they were still raw. In the past it has been better and sausage and peppers were good and cut in smaller sizes. Not sure what's going on but our waitress was not with it at all. I did request a drink in a larger glass, and they did bring it to me. Mixed drinks are served in strange glasses. Not something you would normally see when your paying $70-100 for a meal for 2. Had a very bad trip to Giuseppe's today - 7/02/11 at 4:10 pm due to a very unfriendly waitress named Letha. She was surly, and wouldn't serve the table. She pretty much abandoned the table. My wife and I had brought her mother to dinner as a special treat for her 75th Birthday. What a BUST! My wife ordered a pizza, the pizza did taste alright but something was wrong with it. It could not be picked up (all the topping would fall off). My mother and law and I had spaghetti and meat sauce and paid extra for meatballs. There was insufficient sauce for the spaghetti. We could not catch Letha to even ask for more sauce! We had to ask another waiter to get her to come to the table to refill diet cokes and my iced tea. At least the garlic toast was top notch. We wanted desert - spumoni. Again, couldn't get her to come to the table. Another waiter finally fetched her. (The spumoni was very good however). What was wrong with her today? I "wooed" my lady at this restaurant four times previously and each time was top notch. This time was worse than going to Mazzio's!! C'mon, Giuseppe's, get your act together . You are too high class of a restaurant to allow this type of service to continue. read more
