I just think it makes its easier on everyone involved. Lol I saw Dr Stevenson years ago and came back to him again. Such a nice professional doctor. Easing fears. She was very thorough taking x-rays and she did a fabulous job cleaning my teeth and was so gentle that I didn't have a single moment of tooth or gum irritation during the cleaning process. Unfortunately I had too much bone loss to keep the bottom denture in place. So they suggested getting a couple of implants, and then modifying the bottom denture so it snapped on to those implants. They recommended an oral surgeon, who did a fabulous job. When my mouth had heaedled from the implant surgery, I came back and dr. Lisa helped make the modifications to my bottom denture which works like a charm. When I had some sore spots from the bottom denture she was very quick to respond and make adjustments to the bottom denture to relieve the pain at night charge. Everyone here: the front desk ckerk, office manager, dental assistants and Hygenist, and the doctor, is just wonderful. The whole process of implants and modification took about a year. When I was finally able to eat "real food" again they celebrated with me like family.

The soonest they could do it was in 4 weeks, so I set the appointment. One of Lisa Shideler's associates gave me a perscription for the infection and one for pain. After a week I ran out of both and called for a refill. They allowed the infection refill but was told no on the pain meds. Remember this was 6 teeth that were infected. I wanted to crawl out of my skin the pain was so intence. after 2 calls for help, neither call was returned. I am eating handfulls of asprin and live with ice packs nearly 24/7.
