Lower your expectations or go elsewhere. I had some sheet aluminum work done at JC the week before…read moreThanksgiving in November 2025 after an unfortunate meeting with farm gate. Incredibly poor workmanship and both the Supervisor and subsequently the Service Manager failed to acknowledge this and blamed the manufactured parts. Photos are available if anyone is interested in verifying this complaint. No 1 below was the crux of my complaint while I was onsite. Number 3 I corrected immediately on my way home after leaving the facility. Numbers 2, and 4 below were all noticed a couple of weeks after I returned home and after I'd already let JC know, in an email, my displeasure with the poor results of the second attempt with the stone guard. 1: A new stone guard was installed incorrectly on the new body panel. The rear top corner bracket had been installed 1.25 inches lower than the front top corner (the hinge) and the lower rear bracket was an inch too far forward. The Tech then torqued and twisted the guard to make it fit. The ill-fit was obvious to the naked eye but the Supervisor told me it was because all stone guards are manufactured/made by hand and so no two are the same. Despite insisting it wasn't poor workmanship they moved the rear bracket up and the lower bracket an inch further back to better align it. Not perfect but better than their first attempt. Nothing to do with the manufacture of the stone guard if they managed to move the brackets to significantly improve the installation..? 2: A section of chrome trim in the channel mid height on the trailer in front of the door was broken at some point during the work, probably when the track was removed for access to remove the old and install the new aluminum sheet. It should have been replaced or repaired when the track was reinstalled but it wasn't. There is now a 1/4 inch wide jagged triangle shaped gap where two pieces meet in the front of the trailer. I wasn't told about this. I had to find this out on my own. Total lack of integrity on JC behalf. 3: The door striker bolt had been removed during the repair so the seam could be opened to slide in a new sheet of aluminum below and then was not reinstalled properly (it was loose). I had just one week earlier installed the Nolox bolt, used Loctite Blue on the thread and checked the security of the rivets. When my trailer was returned the lower rivet was missing and the bolt was loose. On inspection it appeared the Loctite had been cleaned off the threads and not used when reinstalled. (Loctite residue was still present on the bottom of the bolt). Also the lower rivet was missing because one wasn't reinstalled after the panel was slipped in. Fortunately the backing plate behind the sheet was still in the right place so it was a quick fix. 4: A minor issue but sloppy none-the-less, the stickers they replaced were not in the original location. All the Tech had to do was look at other trailers to see the alignment but that was obviously too much to ask. Lazy. Can't recommend the facility at all. The Shop Supervisor had to be convinced that the obviously poor outcome was just that. The Service Manager, in an email, just repeated to me what the Shop Supervisor had told me when I formalized my complaint a couple of weeks after getting home. Quality Control at Airstream JC sheet metal shop does not exist. I recommend you look elsewhere. MCJ

Our awning tension was super tight so Tanner came out and took a look at it then cleaned and lined it on the spot so I was able to finally move the arms out without help. Amazing experience- thanks service center!!
