We've been coming here for about a year now and loved the playground but how am I now just realizing there's a 5G tree tower in the park? As if that wasn't bad enough it looks like they're doing some landscaping renovations and they've been spraying weed killer on weeds where kids probably play and or walk on. So the kids step on the weed killer then go and spread it around on the play grounds. Keep an eye out for the green tint on the floor where they are spraying the weeds, it's everywhere read more

If you're ever traveling back and forth between Los Angeles and the Inland Empire/San Bernardino area with kids and are in need of a place to let them run around for a little bit to break up the drive, Gladstone Park is your spot. About halfway between the two metros and located closely to the freeway, this park includes two large play areas for children, basketball courts, a handball court, a walking path, some picnic areas, and restrooms. The kids love it, I love being able to walk around for a little bit. Parking lot always seems to have space in it. Great park. read more

Lovely park that encompasses two sections. There's 2 playgrounds, a basketball court, handball court, and some benches. There are restrooms that appeared relatively clean, but smelled horrible/reeked of urine. Google maps took me to the neighborhood entrance which does not have much parking. You are better off parking on the Main Street/Gladstone. Overall, great for kids as there is newer equipment and a variety of things to play with (musical instruments and giant rocker) read more

Unfortunately I could not leave a better review than one star. There were two local men (both live right next to the park) that had large dogs off leash. The first man had a large black dog running after a ball on the baseball field. He finally noticed that there were four different people with small dogs on leashes. All standing with their dogs, All waiting and looking at him and his off leash dog running the field. He took his dog home (one of the houses just west of the baseball field}. Not long after that a man with two large dogs also off leash (although this man was caring the leashes in his hand) cane a allowed his dogs to run around the baseball field (see photos). There are signs posted (see photos) about dogs on leash. "Dogs must be on leash at all times" and dog poop bags he could have used to pick up his dogs poop. There are two small playgrounds with small children, and many others that would like to safely walk their dogs along the path. Shame on those that allow their dogs off leash.. read more

7am Thursday - park is gorgeous with a bridge over the cut through to access the other side. Parking is extremely limited given the size of the park with a small lot off Gladstone and some limited street parking in the residential area on Bruning Ave behind the park. Lots of early morning walkers and happy dogs walking the dirt loop. Full basketball Volleyball Handball Two large play structures with recycled rubber chips Toddler swings and regular swings. Bathroom with water faucets. Tables for reservation, only some areas with a grill. Tables are mixed old school picnic on the uneven ground some stone, on cement pavement. read more

It's a small(ish) but nice park. It's tucked away so you don't have to deal with a lot of people. There are a couple areas with trees that provide a good amount of shade over tables and one of the playgrounds. read more

Went to this park with my toddler and he enjoyed it very much. There are two different playground across from each other. One is suitable for oldeR children anD the one Is suitable for Toddlers. One is pirate theme and has these belts made for sliding or climbing. The ground is covered in what I believe is old tires or rubbers cut up into small pieces. I actually preferred this over sand. One downfall to this place was that the day wee weNt a few old folkS were out playing badminton and smoking near the playground. read more

Well-established community park with enclosed baseball field, full basketball court, volleyball court and handball walls. There is a large playground with tall slide structures. There are three large covered patio structures with four concrete tables with benches beneath - total of 12 tables. It is across the street from houses and parking is along the street in front of the playground area and near the baseball field. Lots of mature trees with shady grass are around the perimeter. Only drawback is you can hear the buzz of the 210 freeway traffic. read more

This is by far my favorite park to bring my daughter. First of all the bathrooms are clean. This park has two separate playgrounds, a basketball court and a small running trail. The pirate playground is my favorite because it's a bit challenging and I LoVe things that challenge my daughter like the tight rope waking, the plank. It's nice I definitely recommend thus park. read more

So..I used to play volleyball..and usually the only volleyball I can play is at the beach! BUT...as I was driving by I saw a volleyball court set up with sand and and the court nicely measured off. There was grass all around it. Poles were already in place..and a net was set up . When I saw that...I almost jumped out of my car. I quickly turned around and parked on the side. I could not believe it that a volleyball court was right here all along. I walked on the grass, right up to the party that was set outside and asked them if they were playing and if they net was already put up. They were so friendly and they set they brought the net...but it wasn't hart to set up at all! K..who is up for a volleyball game...cause I'm so there..breaking a sweat and getting my activity on. ;) read more

Very chill park to go to. There is plenty of parking. You can either park on the street or in the parking lot. There are plenty of trees, benches, and open area for you whomever you're with to roam around. A waste drain runs through the park and splits it into two. The restroom is located near the center of the park and is pretty clean for a restroom in a park. Since there are plenty of shaded areas, there are plenty of parties that are thrown here. The amenities of this park include a volleyball court, basketball court, and a playground. The volleyball court is sanded so beach volleyball is played there. I have a couple of gripes with the basketball court. Most of the time the court is open, not many people play at this court. The reasons are that playing a full court game can be difficult because its NBA regulation size, running from one court to the other can be exhausting. The rims are double rims, which leads to more missed shots, and the last time I was there the nets were messed up. Overall, this park is quite small but does the job. Running the perimeter of this park is around half a mile and I highly encourage those to try it if you come to this park. Maybe you'll see me playing volleyball or basketball! read more

Went to check out this park since the playground equipment looked different from other parks. It was great bit for my toddler son. He loved trying out all the different elements on the set. There were rock walls, rope, balance beam, slides, and of course, a pirate map. He had so much fun and I knew other people would enjoy it as a play date. He really impressed me by his abilities that I never knew he had. It is a bit sketchy with the mentally disabled at the other side of the park but since it's a public space can't really avoid that. The other playground on the other side of the reservoir looked fun and clean but the guy talking to himself deterred us. +++ read more

Clean Park, good facilities, the kind place you love to bring your kids. It's right next to a fire station, so if your little one is into big trucks they are usually outside during good weather. read more

I just moved to the Glendora area, my Son and started looking for parks with great playgrounds. This park is ok, it is a large park with two playgrounds and basketball courts. The parking is easy and close to the play area, bathrooms are a little walking distance. My son did not like their playground I believe they attempted to make it different but did not succeed. read more

I used to come here quite often before college. There's a basketball court and beach volleyball pit that gets pretty frequented a lot during the summer. The park is fairly expansive and it's easy to underestimate how big it is when you're running or walking your dog through it. You will run into quite a few stoners, I must say, during the summer near the evening/night time. read more

I love this place. I've been going here for as long as I can remember. If you go around 6, you can catch a pick-up basketball game with the regulars who welcome the new people. There are two side to the park, each with a set of swings and other typical "park things". There are huge grassy fields with ample room for soccer or baseball. It is nearly done, after months of planning, a water efficient planted gateway to Gladstone Park will be complete... the Gateway to Gladstone. I hope everyone in South Glendora will drive by, stop, get out of your car, because it will be so beautiful it will make you get out of your car. Like a super magnet! Lots of brightly colored flowers, see-thru willowy trees and appealing easy-care shrubs that can reduce your water bill by 50% each and every month. The price of water may not go down, but the compliments about your gardening skills will go up. This is the second park done in Glendora with the water saving measure in mind. The first park is located by the Library and Police Department, and various Landscape Architectural firms have come to visit and learn 24 new plants that are useful in this manner. I know it gets used as there is lots of trash, so Monrovia, the plant nursery extraordinaire, donated the plants again for part two of these FREE to the public parks! Everyone is super excited to do the ribbon cutting and bring on the summer fun! read more
