When we called the office asking for an emergency appointment, they were able to fit us in right away, which meant so much to us as worried parents. When we arrived, Dr. Honey was incredibly attentive, compassionate, and reassuring. She cared for our daughter as if she were her own and took the time to thoroughly examine her and explain everything to us. Dr. Honey prescribed medication for our baby, and within the very first day we noticed a huge improvement -- her eczema and heat rash had already started clearing up. We are beyond thankful for Dr. Honey and the care she provided. It's such a relief knowing our daughter is in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend!

We are both working parents and we love how efficient our visits are. Dr. Toomari is a no bullshit man, he gets to the point quick and is straight up with answers and questions. I'm really sad to leave this review because I thought Dr. Toomari was decent until today. He's been my daughter's pediatrician since she was born. Today was her 15 month appointment, and as a toddler, screaming, crying, etc. is all normal & expected when strangers are touching them. Anyway, while my toddler was scream crying, Dr. Toomari was explaining to me which vaccines he recommended-- we've been doing a delayed vaccination schedule since she was 4 months old--then he proceeds to tell me "she needed Hep A last visit but you didn't want it, I'm not sure why" what??? I literally go based off of his recommendations... anyway, while I'm still trying to settle my toddler he then sternly yells her name as if trying to get her to be quiet? I know it's frustrating, but you're a pediatrician, you know what it's like at this age, so shouldn't there be some more patience? Idk, I'm not sure he cares about his patients at all, he has always made the appointments feel very rushed, hardly ever says anything. Weird vibes. As soon as he left the room, my toddler stopped crying. We'll be finding a new pediatrician.

Then I finically got taken into the back, the nurse wanted to separate my kids in two different rooms because I was by myself and I guess wanted to make the appointment go by faster. But I told them no, because I didn't feel comfortable leaving my 2 year old with someone I didn't know. And then she said to me "Next time maybe bring someone with you." Which is insensitive comment to make when you see a mom of 2 trying to make it happen at a doctor's appointment instead of asking if I need any assistance. Janette was the only staff was really nice and tried helping during the chaos. Then the doctor came in, DR. SCOTT S. CALIG and wasn't friendly at all. Didn't ask 1 question about my kids (who are new patients) but asked "What's your concerns or issue with Vaccines" (because the nurse asked earlier if I was getting vaccines today and I said no) so I told him I just wanted to do more research with them before giving my daughter more. And he goes and on about how I need to get them and they are a must with kids and I am putting my kids In danger if I don't. This man was pretty much arguing with me because I asked for a list of vaccines my daughter was missing and he wouldn't provide it to me he said hename them off the top of his head. Smh. I've been to other pediatricians in California & Also in New Jersey and no one has ever been so unprofessional & Pushy. But now we're in a situation where if we had months prior seen a specialist, we would not need a cranial specialist and she would not need to wear a helmet. All things to this beautiful Doctor Who only cares about vaccines and does not care about children. He did not check her head properly. And she has moderate to severe issues with her head shape. And I was told multiple times don't worry she's fine, but he never once checked her pulse, her head or her figure. I had to argue with him to check my daughter. Fast-forward three months later after transitioning to another doctor , shortly after I changed doctors this new doctor caught it immediately. From the visit the same day. Horrible doctor highly recommend keep your children as far as possible away from this guy.

She makes sure all of our concerns are fully addressed and always follows up when prescribing new medications, which really shows how much she cares about her patients. At first, she might come across as a little strict or straightforward, but once you get to know her, you can tell she's genuinely caring and dedicated to her patients' well-being. Her staff is also wonderful--very supportive, kind, and professional. We're so grateful to have finally found a pediatrician who goes above and beyond for her patients. Highly recommend!

Dr. Peckson has been my daughters Pediatrician for a year now. She's been seeing her since she was…read morea newborn. I absolutely love her! She is very thorough and very patient. She's always available for emergencies through her pager. She's very good at answering the 100 questions dad and I have. Most importantly, she does super thorough physicals with bloodwork also, now that she's one, to make sure everything is great. She's very intuitive and listens to your descriptions to help guide her into diagnosis and treatments. I can go on and on. I wish my PCP was the same!! I drive an hour each way to see her and don't regret it one bit. The only thing I have struggled with is availability. She is always super busy, so it's hard to get in there without a previous appointment, but they do take walk ins. Another reviewer mentioned staff issues. Two of the nurses that take vitals and weight are super nice and sweet. The only guy I've seen there is George and he's very helpful. Then there's the receptionist/lady that sets appointments and she's not very friendly or nice, but I've never had an actual issue with her. Anyway. Bring your kid to Dr. Peckson, their adult self will thank you later.
