I made an appointment for a long hair shampoo and cut.. I came early, however wasn't seen until…read moreafter the appointment time. This salon has only one stylist/the owner. Once I was sat down, the stylist asked me FIRST, what is my budget? I should have taken this as a sign but I was headed for a trip and needed the service. I wanted a cut and color, sent pictures of the color I wanted ahead of time, but ended up only getting a simple wash, blow dry, a "rinse" which made no real difference (no cost), and cut. The cut wasn't even what I asked as she insisted I keep the length because "it's so pretty". Also, the service took 4 1/2 hours and I was the only person there. I thought I found a stylist finally, but I think I'll keep looking. Pro- she is nice, the simple style was nice Cons- Berating, unexpected costs that don't match the service, you don't end up getting what you asked for, long wait time, long time to complete a simple style

UPDATE 2: GO AT YOUR OWN RISK! The owner continues to harass me online by posting more lies about…read moreme being on crack because of her unprofessionalism and dirty practices. She can't handle a bad review then she shouldn't be in business. Can't wait to sue her for harassment! UPDATE: So the owner decided to text me and accuse me, a 6 figure executive, business & homeowner, of being on crack and too BLACK (she's a light skin black woman) because of her terrible customer service, COLORISM, and professionalism. I changed my review to 1 star. Nothing more to say on this funky smelling business! I'm leaving 2 stars because my first experience was pleasant but my 2nd booking was terrible. I will always try to support a black business but taking a lunch break during my hair appointment was were I draw the line. Then talking about me in Kreyol to your staff is also very unprofessional, I understood every word. The owner stated that my booking is 4 hours so she has me for the entire time. In her mind that means I can sit and wait for her to finish her lunch. Clearly her lunch was more important than my booking and my recurring booking. I just wanted to leave a transparent review.

I had also done a couple root touch ups at home with clairol. I am not from the area and I don't have a regular stylist here. I saw all of the reviews on yelp and the before and after pics, on her website, so I booked a consultation with Veronica. She is highly educated and experienced and walked me through the processes my hair needed to get good color. She was thorough and gave me a time and cost quote as well. Super professional! Two weeks later I went back, and spent 5 hours there for corrective color. I think the results speak for themselves! I couldn't be happier, she is worth every penny. Highly recommend.

I drove downtown to find an adorable little hair salon tucked into a brick building. It was clean and quiet. I was just getting a wash, cut, and style - but Michi made me feel like his favorite customer. The hair wash was phenomenal, with scalp massage. The cut was amazing! Usually when you walk in for just a wash/cut/style, you get quick scissors to your hair, a too-hot blowdry, and you're shoved out the door. Here, he dried everything first and straightened it out to see where my ends were and what condition they were in. Then, he took his time trimming each layer and fixing my forever-messed-up bangs. They actually look amazing now! I walked out of there with a clean, healthy-looking hairstyle and my new favorite salon!
