It taken me several months to "cool down" from my experience and post this review. Glam Color Bar raised prices this year 45%!!! 45% - this is not a typo! I was shocked when checking out a few months back for a service. Samantha insisted they had provided multiple notifications in various methods. After searching three different email addresses that I was given that "should" have communicated the price increase I found none and showed her there were none received with that information though I had emails with specials. I was told to check my spam and I did and emails were not there either. I was then told it would have been in my appointment notice and/or reminder - and I looked them up and showed her it was not there either. I was told they posted notice of the price increase in the store last fall and I was in several times and saw no such notice though I saw the signs posting specials and sales. I asked why they did not mention the price change when I scheduled or with my reminder phone call and was not given a reason. I was treated with ZERO empathy and I had to push for Samantha to acknowledge that they could have been more transparent and communicated better, though the acknowledgement was done unapologetically. Out of curiosity I just looked back through their Facebook posts last fall and there is no notice there either of price increases. I will not get services there again. read more

This business has become money hungry from where it started off. The owner has obviously let money change her and the business from her staff to service. If you are someone that has a busy lifestyle and had uncontrollable changes to your schedule, this is not the place for you. They require a contract with them to adhere to a strict cancelation policy that requires a 48hr notice if you have to cancel. It is a 50% fee of what your service price would have been. If you see their prices that is a hefty penalty on top of getting another appointment. I have been a customer for 8 years and sadly being a loyal customer does not mean anything to them. read more

Ok, so my first experience here was very good and initially I thought roxy was very nice and I loved my nails, I made an appointment and had to cancel because I'm working two jobs to support myself to make sure I have some place to live & food in my stomach. I missed my appointment and I started messaging roxy on Instagram she told me I would have to pay 25 for missing my appointment, I get it. But her approach was so rude and it seems like since she has a bigger clientele she think she thinks she could treat people anyway she wants to. That's not professional and I was so turned off I stopped following her and stopped any type of messaging to her, be humble that will boost your clientele because your attitude was horrible. read more

I really don't get how this business has such a high rating. I wasn't going leave a review on yelp but since Roxana spoke about other business' and people in such ugly manor, I've been reviewing everywhere possible bc she was so appalling. I would never return to this business because of the people the hire. look at her personal facebook and yelp reviews, she is a nasty person who doesn't care about anyone other than herself and my nails look like were done at home, at best. If they ran an ad for free I still wouldn't go. Maybe if they had staff that did not talk trash about other people / business maybe I would consider going back. But likely still no. DO NOT GET A HAIRCUT HERE! This goes for both men and women. My boyfriend got his haircut there and it was AWFUL! It was uneven all throughout and he came back with pieces of it not even cut. They weren't but the woman on the other line talked me into scheduling it with someone else. It turns out that it was the SAME lady who messed it up the first time. I was so pissed.
