The salon is beautiful. However, they scheduled me and then called an hour later to tell me the nail tech didn't want to work that late and could I move my appointment earlier. I did. The nail tech was not friendly. She did ok with a white gel acrilic manicure, but it is white polish and she did it really thick - thicker than necessary in my opinion. It turned out fine. She did a diamond design and when I asked her to add one more diamond where there was a gap she didn't seem too happy. I was disappointed in the hand massage. It was literally 5-10 seconds per hand. That is the part of the manicure I look forward to, so that was a let down. It would've been better if they had skipped it all together. I might try this place out again because it isn't too far from my house. But if I have a similar mediocre experience again I will probably just go to my old salon in Holbrook. read more

My friend and I were so excited to try this brand-new nail spa and booked a 9:30 a.m. appointment for a self-care day. We arrived, and we had to wait 10-15 minutes because they just opened, and the nail techs didn't arrive yet. First impression of the place is that it's beautiful, brand new, and clean. It gives off Bali vibes. We started off with the deluxe pedicure. The chairs were okay-- no massage feature. The pedicure was decent but barely any massage, just rubbing sugar, lotion, orange peels, hot stones, and applying hot towels over my legs. It was nothing memorable. After we followed them to their stations, this was where the disaster began. I showed my tech, Lana, what I wanted and said the image said French chrome. It does look like cat eye, but I just followed what I found on the internet and went with chrome. I wanted gel X short almond nails. GIRLS... there was extra glue product under my nails, and she proceeded to add more glue under my nails and cured it-- my nails burned underneath. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I thought she would clean it up afterwards, and I was trusting the process. NOPE. The execution of this work was amateur-level. I would have done a better job myself. The French tips were poorly done, clumpy, and she did not clean/ smooth the lines. When she applied the chrome. I did not like it and asked if it was too late for cat eye? She seemed annoyed, and I asked to apply a gold outline underneath the green instead. She seemed more annoyed and rushed the application. MIND YOU... it was not busy at all and just two of us in the salon. I understand the language and heard her saying "this is hard." Then she gave me a 5-10 second hand massage to finish off the service, cleaned her station, and disappeared somewhere. She did not check if my toes were dry and was not attentive enough to attempt to put my shoes back on-- other nail salons I've been to have always been kind to do this for me. They charge for EVERY little thing. They charged me $20 for "deep French." This is not deep French in my opinion. They offered 15% off for first-time customers and 3% off if you're paying cash. The nail techs never asked if we liked our nails during the whole process, and the receptionist never asked how our services were. We paid our dues and did not want to be complicated customers since we noticed how annoyed they were. We left disappointed. When we got to our cars, they ran out and gave us mini Christmas gifts (nail cuticle oil). I personally will never go back here again. It's OVERPRICED, amateur/sloppy work, and poor hospitality. I will continue to go to my nail tech in Braintree, where I could get the same services with high-quality work for half the price. read more

Unfortunately I wish I could give them a better review. I called the salon asking if I could arrive earlier and they were able to accommodate my requested time. However once I got there, I had to wait 30 minutes just to get seen. Weirdly this was the first time in a long time I had a pedicure but the seats did not have a massage feature..? Although the chairs were really nice, it felt a bit off. Lastly, what really turned me off was when I had to pay $5 just to get my gel polish removed although I was coming in for a gel manicure. That did not make sense and frankly, I'm not sure I'd come back. read more

I visited Avana Spa about six weeks ago and had the Seasonal Deluxe Pedicure with the steamer -- hands down the best pedicure experience I've ever had! The natural herbs they use left my feet feeling incredibly soft and smooth for weeks. The whole service was relaxing from start to finish, and the reflexology massage afterward was the perfect touch. I highly recommend Phuong (who also goes by Katie) -- she's knowledgeable, sweet, and has a great sense of humor that makes the experience even better. The entire service was around $90, and it's absolutely worth every penny, especially if you're on your feet all day for work. I can't wait to go back! read more

Nice space. The staff is great. Unfortunately, they didn't have what was needed to complete any of the nail looks I wanted for my nails. I eventually landed on gel x blue cateye with pink chrome. However, I left with purple halloween looking nails for a summer vacation, trip. They didn't charge me for the cateye. For a salon thats been opened for 3 weeks, its pretty disappointing that you aren't ready to provide the different creative options for nail designs. Not everyone is coming in for one color nail service. Getting your nails done, is a form of self care. So it has to be done right. However, i didn't have time to stay longer to fix it. I was already there for 2 hours. Would I go back? No. Because, I'm not happy with the color and style. I'll keep looking for another salon. read more

Fabulous spa atmosphere. Lana did a Deluxe pedicure for me. highly recommend. Absolutely loved my pedicure! It was relaxing, luxurious, and felt like a true spa experience. It was quite different than other nail salons based on the presentation of what they were going to use as part of the process (orange slices, flower petals). Everyone was pleasant and welcoming.
