Last week was the first time Iv been into Glamify me. I go to the mall often, but have never went into the store. I love makeup, but usually just buy it online. Makeup stores are usually intimidating to me. The employees can be snobby and make me feel insecure. Anyway, I am so glad I came in and am mad at my self that I didn't come in sooner! The store is conveniently located right by the entrance, which is great on them days you don't want to fight the mall crowed to get where you are going. The store is very clean and the decor is classy. They have got everything from glitter to lashes to gloss, oh... did I mention the glitter?! Tons of glitter, all colors! The gals there are so incredibly sweet and welcoming. I was greeted with a cheerful hello and a warm smile. Customer service is very important to me. Natalia was the person that helped me with my purchase. She was very knowledgeable and super funny. She helped me pick out the perfect lashes (some that don't hit my glasses) and helped me pick a perfect foundation to go with my oily skin. She also told me about there awesome sale that was going on that week. Can you believe all of their pallets were $6 each ?!?! All Of them!! No matter how big or small, only 6 bucks! It's safe to say I walked out of there with several! All are very pigmented and good quality. My visit to Glamify me was absolutely exceptional and my gal was a complete doll! Cute little cosmetics store out in Modesto. With incredible customer service. COVID-19 protection set up in place. They sell smaller independent cosmetics. Stuff you don't see at Sephora across the way. A couple of brands they sell is Kim Chi Beauty and Kenia Ontiveros Beauty to name a couple. Very affordable makeup they sell. Lashes upon lashes they sell of all kinds. They don't have sell fragrances though. I wish they would though. There's a glitter bar if you want glitter for makeup to crafting. As for as eye shadows is concerned. Towards the back of the store. Is an eye shadow palette wall. The prices cannot be beat. The store's layout has a good flow. It's very clean especially during this pandemic. It's located in a corner spot of the mall only accessible from the outside in the newer outdoor edition of the mall. Plenty of free mall parking. It's a little bit on the small side, but it has what you are looking for. read more

12/28/19 I purchased lashes at the Modesto, CA location on 12/27/19. After reviewing my receipt, I noticed the sales tax was for San Francisco County and NOT the sales tax county I reside in. The following day, I returned to Glamify and asked and spoke with the manager (Did not get her name) and asked if she knew what the sales tax was for Stanislaus County and she did not know. She suggested I 'Google' the information. I preceded to inform her that I was overcharged a higher sales tax for SF county and NOT the county of where I reside and at their store location. She had a 'blank' look on her face and suggested I call her supervisor. I told her I had called the number prior to coming in the store she gave me and it went straight to voicemail. From that point, I asked if she would be able to adjust the correct sales tax and she said "no, Im sorry, I can't" I stated she needs to inform her employer they are operating and overcharging their customers sales tax and it is illegal. She had no reply. Glamify has been at this location for over 1 year ... and I wonder how many customers have been overcharged sales tax. I will be reporting this to BBB (Better Business Bureau). So, if you go in to make any purchases be aware there taking more of YOUR money for sales tax and it is illegal. read more

Me and my neice went in there to check it out, there were 3 girls working there and not one greeted us. The girls were just standing there talking and laughing to there self. I heard there whole inappropriate conversation. We were in there 30 mins and no one ever helped us. Horrible customer service I would not recommend this place. read more

I love this place. Why pay $30+ for one pair of 3d mink lashes when they got them here for the joog . The girls are always so helpful too. Multiple times I've been in here, I've gotten great customer service from these talented makeup artists. One girl even took her time to get her phone and show me how all the lashes looked like on the eyes cuz I was having a hard time deciding what looked good for me since the selection was so wide. I was just in this store yesterday and the cashier had beautiful eyeshadow on, I was asking her for makeup tips and she was so kind in giving me a few pointers and even recommended me products to achieve her look. When I come in this store to shop, it's so fun. The workers literally make you feel like you're shopping with all your friends. I was only looking up this page on yelp to check the hours because I already want to go back today. I need more of these beautiful lashes. Let me start by saying, I will not come back to this store again unless there's new employees. The store has great prices and beautiful makeup but the employees were very unprofessional. They didn't greet me when I came in, they were mostly on their phone picking songs, didn't offer me any help, I complimented one of them on they're eyelashes asked which were they and all she says was "they're on the wall." Also I don't know if it's because I wasn't wearing any makeup but I felt that way by they're lack of effort, and attitude. Usually when I go into Ulta, Sephora, and Mac the women there are professional unlike the employees here. read more

Im writing this review in hopes the owner reads it and takes it into consideration. I went into the shop today with kids and my teenage daughter and was very disturbed and disappointed with the vulgar, inappropriate music that was being blasted. I too listen to the same type of music (not around younger ones) but there's a time and place. I wanted to ask the staff about the music choices, but they were unapproachable after I asked product questions. I get that you probably cater to a younger crowd, but your business needs to be considerate of the families/young teens that visit the mall daily, especially during the weekends. I've never walked into a business that played "dirty" versions of songs, even businesses catered to adults. As I mentioned, I too listen to that type of music, but your business is located inside a mall where families and teenagers visit so just be more considerate. I get that's probably how your business brands itself, but you can play the same type of music, just EDITED/CLEANED. Bummed out because I liked your products and was ready to purchase, but I couldn't believe the music I was hearing. :( read more

AMAZING MAKEUP STORE!! I probably spent and hour and a half in there! There were two employees and they were so nice! I was greeted and literally helped the whole way through the store. Absolutely love this place. The employee's here are really knowledgeable and always willing to help. Unlike other makeup/beauty shops where the employees can be snobby, everyone at Glamify Me is sweet & personable. They were full of compliments as soon as I walked in the door and it made me feel so good about myself, especially since people at other makeup stores can be a little stuck up. They were very attentive with the glitter bar since it was getting busy but they never rushed anyone or made me feel like I was wasting their time. Trust me, I did take awhile because all those color choices! The selfie spot here is such a cute touch. They know their demographic to a tea & it made me feel like a little instagram baddie. Purchase lashes after my debit card went through she starred putting my lashes and I tell her omg I got that one by mistake can I swap it for the other styles as rest of the other 20. She did not let me she said it was final sale when literally she was still bagging my items. Then on Black Friday charged me two palletes original priced ( cought it after I stepped out because I was double thinking wait how did it turn out to so much ) yes I purchased more than 5 but total wasn't adding up. Let the girls know the next day they didn't want to honor the price . Work in the mall so I would always shop but notice customer service keeps getting worse. New girls all the time and they harras you. My sister and I went into this store for the first time, which we were super excited about! Based off there social media platforms they seemed to have a great team work ethic. We were super disappointed with the poor customer service. We felt super uncomfortable when we were picking out glitter from the glitter bar. A female employee didn't take her eyes off us and constantly walked around us the whole time we were there. This place is okay. The only problem I have is their return/exchange policy. Most high end makeup stores like Sephora and even Ulta allow exchanges and returns. I got "color matched" for a Frankie Rose foundation, but it ended up being darker and more orange than I anticipated when I tried it at home on my whole face. I went to the store a few days later and a worker informed me that they do not allow exchanges or returns, which is very disappointing because the ACTUAL Frankie Rose website allows this. I think the "makeup artists" here should familiarize themselves of the shade comparisons with other makeup brands listed on the Frankie Rose website so that they can recommend and anticipate shades better. read more

When I go into a store the employer would great you as they should walking in to any store. Not this one I walked in the lady was too busy putting on makeup fixing her lips not even acknowledging the customer's walking in or out. They just looked at me and my sister all weird like as if we don't belong in the store because we didn't have any makeup on. Just because I didn't have any on don't me I cant beat my face up. Okay so I am 15 year old girl who likes to go to the mall and shop with my friends... and every time me and my friends go into glamify me we are followed around the store and treated different, they follow us to the point where it's annoying that we put down everything we were gonna buy and leave because it's so rude. I understand I am still a kid but I shouldn't be treated like I am going to steal everything. The most recent time I went in to this store I picked out a pair of lashes and went to the counter while my friend was looking around,(I had won a give away on their insta page and had just came to receive my gift) I show the lady my texts with the glamify me instagram and she said because this text was from august 19th and it was September 1st that she thinks I already got my lashes so won't give them to me. I totally understand where she was coming from so I walked over to my other friend who was looking at the nails, and she's tells me to ask the lady how much they were so I turn around and I kinda just look at her and wait because she was with a customer and I was just fidgeting and looking at the box and the lady tells me I can't open the box and I saw I wasn't I was just gonna ask how much they were and she sighed and said they were $10 so I i say thank you and turn around put the nails back and we leave. I know that might not sound rude or anything but if you were there in that moment you could see the annoyedness in her eyes and how she thought we would steal. There are so many other story's about how rude they are because I am 15 and shopping without a parent but I don't think that it's okay that they can do this and pick the shoppers without parents to follow around and watch. read more

However, you can automatically tell how unprofessional this business is. I don't live in the area so I have to order products(lashes) from their website and when I have a question regarding my purchase, there is never anyone I can reach because the phone is never answered. i won vip meet and greet with the Murillo Twins and they said we would be 1st in line and get tons of goodies, we didn't get 1st in line i waited 5 hours and the goodie bags were just glitters (.50 glitters) that i could have bought on my own. and then i also won vip for Evette and i got my goodie bag and continued shopping and i had lashes in my hand, Evette had merch outside and i was trying to buy some and the bartender lady thought i was stealing the lashes called the manager and he took everything i had and kicked me out, i'm very disappointed because i tried explaining myself and he still kicked me out. and the prices are outrageous $5 for a mini beauty blender?? $7 for ONE makeup brush ?? i will NEVER. be going there again.... Honestly this store is not the same as it use to be. Employees there look like they dislike there job and the costumers that come in. Not sure where to even start. To say the least, HORRIBLE service. Not sure whose managing this place but it reflects on their employees, which are all rude. The girls stand in "groups" and talk to each other and just stare at you while you shop...which is uncomfortable. And there's always one girl standing in the corner watching you and they aren't helpful at all. I mean, hey if this is the experience you want to give your customers then this is the place for you.
