She was even nice enough to give me my full appointment time. (I was lucky there weren't other appointments after-don't count on it!) She was very kind about my skin, and didn't try to upsell me on treatments I don't need. (We've all had those providers that put something down to sell more services right? I've had so many people try to shame me into waxing my facial hair or eyebrows while I'm just trying to chill!) I've gotten many facials-the thing I found most interesting and beneficial about the style here was getting a bit of a few different treatments where your skin needs it. For example: I got a bit of hydra facial work where I needed it, but not all over so it didn't eat up the whole appointment. Which leaves time for dermaplaning. Kind of the best of a bunch of different modalities all for the price of one reasonable facial. I found it very very clever. It was obvious she was taking the time to LOOK at what was needed and treat it instead of having a step by step routine applied to everyone. Honestly I have never experienced that level of care anywhere else. The extractions were the most painless I've had, possibly ever, and she got some annoying blackheads I just couldn't on my own. For such a treatment focused facial it was surprisingly relaxing. You can also request a relaxation based appointment on your form and I'm sure the modalities used change. The location is gorgeous with the huge open windows up in the trees. I love a woman owned business where you can feel the care that goes into your experience. The private changing area, satin robes, and every hair accessory you could have possibly forgotten all make you feel very cared for. My ONLY complaint at all is if I wanted to get a heavier peel done here it would require using only their skincare. I understand it for sure. They need to protect themselves and that is a way to guarantee healthy skin for a heavy peel. Not something I'd personally be willing to do. I will definitely be returning here for my facials and superficial peel though! I usually only go every three months but with the actual benefits I felt immediately-I think 2 will be a stretch! I've also visited the head spa at the other Temple location. It was phenomenal! Me personally? I'd rather treat myself to a facial, but if you're looking to really spoil yourself it was worth it for sure!

6-19-24 Had an…read moreappointment at this office for my annual body check. First time here as I am new to the area and my primary doctor referred me here. After a checking they noticed a something suspicious on my back. Oddly enough it was located next to where I had a melanoma removed 30 years ago. The biopsy came back that I have melanoma again but they caught it thankfully in its early stages. They followed up with an appointment to remove a larger area so that they got it all. That will take place end of the month at their Hilton Head location. Next they scheduled appointments every three months for the next year to do checks on my body. I think they have done an excellent job catching it so soon and their plan to get ahead of it is wonderful. Thankful that they are very detailed and got it early.

There is no sign out front and this is a residential neighborhood run out of someones house. We did not receive instructions of how to get to the pool house spa so just heads up enter to the small fence to the left of the house. You will then see the pool/spa house. We were very nicely greeted by the owner who does facials and the masseuse. They gave us instructions and the massages began. This was a couples massage for our honeymoon. While I was getting a massage my husband received a facial then vice versa. I became immediately relaxed and started breathing like I have never done before. I couldn't stop! She kept hitting some spots that made me do it! I did nod off a few times (drinking the night before and staying up late a few night in a row could have affected that.) I'm amending this for an update. 3rd interaction - I was still hoping to follow up with this Dr because of the time I have invested. Was waiting to do updated blood work. She has been assigned as my primary care physician by my insurance. Just found out that she won't be doing the full panel of labs that my last one did (for last 7 years). These labs were standard & identified a health problem to monitor. She said if she can't treat it, She won't include them in normal labs. From a medical standpoint point this is concerning. Neither could my other doctor. Thought the primary care has always been the first line of defense? ---- maybe they mean family doctor for sniffles? 1st & 2nd interactions 1st appt was cancelled with Doctor with no notice (& waited 2 months to see Dr instead of PA because prior family Dr's labs identified a concern & that Islands doctor was leaving the practice). waited 1 hour & 15 minutes for PA who was still running late so had to leave to take care of a family member in the hospital. 2nd interaction - called to get an update on labs. Was interrupted. Waited to speak. Didn't get one. If I tried, was told I was interrupting & rude. Waited without a peep and counted to 10 when receptionist was done. Waited too long. She hung up on me. I'd been assured a return call during rant. So waited for one. Didn't get one. So called back next day (def didn't want to do that). Got same receptionist. She said the Dr was supposed to call me back (?!). Then she read back dr's note which stated she was supposed to call me back. Receptionist told me I should find a new practice. So I am. What a mess.
