My mom and I got our nails done by David this morning. From the moment we walked in, everyone had a welcoming spirit and helpful attitude. We walked out in less than an hour and a half with a beautiful fresh full set of nails and a pedicure. Lovely environment, definitely going to continue going there. Sophia did my pedicure, amazing lady. I had the pleasure of engaging in a conversation with Zoey, another nail tech there, the biggest sweetheart. Overall experience 10/10.

I'm thrilled to be returning to Glamor Salon Spa after all these years! I first started going back in 2017, but life took me to a closer salon in Lafayette. After trying others I realized no one does my nails as beautifully as they do here! They take their time and they communicate well when it comes to the design & they are so attention to detail!The couple who runs it is the sweetest--you'll have the most fun, warm conversations, and it always feels like home. In fact the owners wife remembered I used to microblade and that was back in 2022 They take real time and care with every detail. The quality is absolutely worth every dollar. If you want gorgeous nails and a heartfelt experience, this is the place!

David at Glamour Nail Salon absolutely exceeded my expectations. He took the time to look at my nails, explain what shape would look best, and walk me through how we could achieve the look I wanted. My mom, sister, and I came here the day before Easter, and the other salons we called were booked, but they were able to fit us into their schedule quickly. My mom and I got gel manicures and my sister got a kids manicure. Sophia took the time to file my nails so they were all even lengths and shape. The staff also helped my sister find a color she was happy with, since she could not do gel polish because of school. Overall, relaxing and felt welcomed, I will be back.

Best nail salon I've been to in over 4 years! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the salon itself was spotless. My nails turned out perfect and my toes looked just as amazing. Thank you, hands-down. This is the best place I have ever had a manicure and pedicure. It's a little bit on the price your side, but it's worth every penny. The pedicure had rose, petals and oranges and gold, sparkling lotion. The gentleman that did my nails for Christmas made them look like they were press on. They were so perfect. Highly recommend!

This nail salon has been awesome. I went here for the first time about there weeks ago and the service was great. I was complimented on my nails daily. I went there wanting acrylic and tried the gel-x instead. I was very pleased with the gel-x. The photo is my nails from yesterday, December 5th.

I absolutely love Glamour Nail Salon! Growing up in Lafayette, I've been to just about every nail salon you can imagine, and this one is truly the best of the best. Every time I come in, I'm greeted by the sweetest staff, who always go above and beyond to make sure I leave loving my nails. I came here hopeful because the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. The nail technicians were very nice; however, the technician who did my jelly gel manicure unfortunately did not appear to be experienced with this type of service. At the end of my appointment, I pointed out that four of my nails were rough on the corners and asked if she could file them, which she did. I also mentioned that my nails did not look like a jelly manicure. Jelly nails should have a translucent, glossy, almost Jell-O-like appearance, while mine looked matte. Another technician told me the matte appearance was because I had lotion on my hands. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but when I got home, I thoroughly washed my hands and my nails were still matte. I also noticed that my middle nail was unusually thick and uneven at the tip. I returned the following day to give the salon an opportunity to address my concerns. They buffed them with a cloth that gave it more shine but it was still not a jelly manicure. Unfortunately, I was given several different explanations--first that it was because two coats had been applied, and then that my "nail beds must be dark." I honestly had no idea what that was supposed to mean, and by that point, I felt insulted and frustrated by the excuses rather than feeling that my concerns were being heard. They did offer to redo my nails if I was willing to wait, but at that point, I was simply done with the experience. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, which is disappointing because I genuinely wanted to like this salon. read more

My husband and I came together to get a "Signature Pedicure". Both started at the same time and his lasted only 22 minutes. Mine lasted 40 minutes. This is unexceptable. We will NEVER return. I had my toes painted but he did not. He still should have had more time! read more

Got my Gel-X nails done by David and had a great experience! I called this morning and he booked me for a Gel-X manicure and gel pedicure within the hour. David did an amazing job on my nails while Kate handled my pedicure at the same time. They were both so kind and quick--I was finished in under an hour! I also booked with Telma because my normal wax lady did not have the availability I wanted and I refuse to go to EWC!! My first interaction of texting with Telma was bit of a red flag. She did ask for me to come earlier, but I guess since I didn't reply fast enough, that she had booked another client w/in 15 minutes of waiting for my response. When I got there for my appointment she was not there and I had to wait for her to come into the building. Once she got inside she had to prep then I got on the table and the waxing started. I was already kind of taken back by the fact that she was using the kind of wax that requires the paper strips. I am a regular wax / sugaring client so I know the pain the comes with it, but this pain was so much more intense. Once the waxing was finished and I had gotten into my car, I instantly was uncomfortable. When I used the restroom it burned just to wipe, I had my husband look down there and there was multiple pink / red spots from my skin being ripped. I am having to constantly put neosporin on those areas and be super gentle with it. I recommend doing your research before coming and maybe don't book a Brazilian here.

I'm saying my skin is firmer, less breakouts in a year, my complexion is brighter, even , and the hyperpigmentation from eczema flares is all but gone. Facial routines seemed so overwhelming but not I have a AM/PM routine and I'm finally understanding what all these crazy products actually do . Wish I started this in my youth . Environment/ location: located in Lafayette next to the 5 little monkeys shop. Paid parking but really quiet. So peaceful inside the studio. There are 2 rooms sometimes used by the lash tech and masseuse. Inside is beautifully decorated , def has a bohemian theme going and is so peaceful. I judge businesses by their bathrooms and hers is gorgeous, clean, and I appreciate the towels instead of paper products. Facial Products : I can't speak to all the official products used during your face/body treatments but she does sell quite a few lines I love specifically SORELLA, SKINCEUTICALS & HENNÉ. I've probably invested hundredsssss in product but it's worth it and my face loves me. I have really sensitive skin, dermatitis AND I was pregnant when I started so I appreciate that I've never had a reaction, she has non-retinol products that work for pregnant women, and she's great at education. Most import army she reads cues so if you're tired , stressed, or would like to enjoy the facial and nap - she won't talk and she'll make sure anyone waiting outside your room is QUIET and not on their phones so you can enjoy it . Which reminds me - appointments are scheduled and she has to buzz you in which keeps the traffic inside to zero Events: lauren hosts pop-up events for clients and guests and they're cool. It's a great time to meet other, try products , learn something new, drink wine , eat and perhaps win something amazing in a raffle (I won a skinceutical gift set retail value :$$$ and it's been amazing) Facials: I recommend the 90-min services starting with the whole bowl in the $190range but now I get the 90-min bydrofacial which is about $365. She has the most calming and kind demeanor which already puts you at ease and while being extremely thorough, she also was excellent at explaining what part of the process we were in during the facial session. I had the Whole Bowl (90 mins) and was beyond impressed with the results. They only use the best high quality skincare such as Skinceuticals, as well as selling in store/can ship to your home too. The only disappoint is that they're so far away from home and will be a treat visiting whenever I'm back up north. Definitely book a session with Emily. Your skin will thank you I promise!

She is also extremely kind and works at a speed I don't feel rushed but it is fast I can get in and out writhing 30 min if I don't chat her ear off too much. Her booking system is easy but I find it best to reschedule ahead to get my desired appointment she books out. If you are new to waxing or a seasoned waxed looking for a fabulous wax Katie is your girl. I appreciate her making a service that can be scary and painful as painless as possible. I walked in to glamour and was immediately greeted by friendly employees. The salon smelled pleasant and was very clean. David was AMAZING with his nail designs and gave me exactly what I wanted. I also received a wonderful signature pedicure with a hot stone massage. I was offered water and tea and the employees went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. She cut my toenails too short and didn't even ask if she can cut them. The worse part is I felt like she rushed through my pedicure and I went straight home and took a tool and checked under my toenail bed and she didn't even clean it. So here I am at home cleaning after a brand new pedicure. What a waste of money and poor service. I tipped as usual and not even a "thank you" from either technician.

They turned off the TV half way through so then it was completely silent and empty, except for the alarm that kept going off every 10 minutes. Poor technique all around: emery board on my skin. Very inconsistent and poor nail shaping (see photo). For 40 minutes a guy rubbed a sticky paste (the consistency of tooth paste) on the same place on my calves before I finally had to ask him to stop because it was irritating my skin. With 10 minutes left a woman hastily slapped on two coats of polish with no dry time and put my shoes on. I won't be back.

During my last several visits I received very much the opposite - negative energy, rude staff, and hostility for asking basic questions or requesting more than 30 seconds to choose a color. I have been a regular customer at this nail salon for the last 2-3 years (you would never know, because they never acknowledge me when I come back each time), and I have recommended this place to people I know. I also have tipped REALLY WELL after each visit, more than I tip anywhere - which makes all of this even more absurd. Smiley Salon was great in the earlier days, but has gone downhill since then. I swore after the last couple of visits that I would never come back, and only did because they are one of the few nail salons that offers last minute appointments. Big mistake. The way that I was treated today was unacceptable (and recent visits too). I can't believe that they think this is ok. It started when I walked in and was looking at the OPI colors for my pedicure, and they were standing right behind me, staring at me, watching my every move and rushing me to choose the first color I picked up. There was no welcome, no customer service, nothing. In fact, they hardly said a single word to me the entire time, and made me feel like I was a nuisance to them. When I chose the initial gel color for my hands, it turned out to be completely clear on my nails, even though it was a pink shade in the book they gave me. After she applied it to one nail, I asked if I could choose a different color, and they scolded me and rolled their eyes for not knowing that the first page of their book contained the "clear" shades. How was I supposed to know? And when they later brought the new shade out, she applied it really quickly without even showing it to me or asking if I liked the color. In the past they have treated me like a criminal if I ever dared to question a color or ask for a different one when it didn't match the color in the book they give you. The manicure and pedicure I received were the most rushed I have ever had. They did the bare minimum, not anywhere near a thorough job and were working as fast as possible, which stressed me out. The foot massage lasted 15 seconds (the massages overall are pretty lackluster here, even with the upgraded packages I have had in the past). The polish on one of my toes was uneven, although luckily it was fixed when I asked about it. When doing the gel manicure, the nail tech put my hands under the UV light for just 15 seconds at a time between coats and only slightly longer at the very end. I asked her about it, and she initially ignored me. Then she flipped out on me and was aggressive and rude, responding, "If you want to put it under 10 times, do it 10 times!". I was simply asking if I should be holding my hands under the light longer between coats. I don't think that was a crazy question, especially because every time I have been to this salon and the gel manicure DID last, I held my hands under the UV light for a longer period of time. When I asked if cuticle care was included in the manicure, the nail tech came over to me without saying a word and dramatically threw her tools down in front of me. I asked what she was doing, and she said, "If you want me to do it, I'll do it! Just like you wanted your hands under the UV light 10 times!". What kind of attitude is this? I was treated like an inconvenience and a burden, not a paying customer. Every little question was such an ordeal and resulted in hostility and them mocking me. Literally the worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon, and even though I walked in, in a good mood, I left in a terrible mood. There are much better options out there. I deserve better, and so do you. I will make sure to let my family and friends know to never come here, and I won't be back ever again either. Look elsewhere for a nail salon.

My previous manicure was clear. There were remnants of clear polish on my nail bed. The manicurist didn't remove the clear polish with polish remover. She filed the polish away in stead and painted over the remaining polish. I didn't make a fuss. It's barely noticeable since the polish is clear. However removal of the polish should be a given. I still topped 20 percent.

Right from the start, I was a little thrown off when my nail tech had to call someone else for guidance on the shape I was requesting. It wasn't anything unusual--just a natural-looking rounded square shape. The person on the phone told me my nails were too short to achieve that shape, which simply wasn't true. My nails were actually quite long, and I've had the exact same shape done many times before by other nail techs without any issues. That was already a bit off-putting, especially considering I paid for a Top Master Russian Manicure. You would expect that level of service and expertise to come with confidence in basic shaping requests. I tried to move past the initial experience, but the real issue was the quality of the manicure itself. In less than a week, the gel started lifting on every finger--both around the edges and near the cuticle area. I'm not sure what caused it, but I know this is not normal based on my experience with Russian manicures. They are supposed to be long-lasting, and mine have always held up beautifully elsewhere. Not even two weeks later, I had to completely remove the gel because the lifting had become so severe. It was catching on everything and looked terrible. My nails are now back to having nothing on them because the manicure simply didn't last. Disappointed is an understatement. Given the price point and the level of service advertised, I expected much better results.

I didn't care to follow up on the pedicure because $60 for a russian mani seemed reasonable enough so I proceeded with the booking. Maya was the artist that worked on my nails. As a newer artist, I think she did a good job but I noticed there were some areas for improvement. -There were a few instances where she lost control of the e-file and ran it over/under my nail/finger. -The cuticle work could have been cleaner and more detailed. After cutting my cuticles, I thought she would e-file to smooth out the cuticle area but did not. -Gel application was not bad but I wish she could've applied the builder gel in a way that gave my nails more apex. There are some nails where the builder gel is lumpier than others. Regardless of the comments above, I would have returned because I think my nails turned out nicely but what rubbed me the wrong way was at the end of the service when it came time for payment. Maya said it was $60 but then another person chimed in and told her to charge for polish removal so my total was now $70. I had on regular polish, not gel. Nowhere was it disclosed to me that there was an upcharge for polish removal or else I would have taken it off at home before coming in. I think it's a bit ridiculous to charge $10 for regular polish removal. Somewhat more understandable if I had on gel polish. I don't think my nails are bad. These are just some of the things I took note of. I like the overall outcome of my nails. I like that the salon was bright and clean. I just did not like the upcharge. Lastly, payment is by venmo or zelle. This is something they should probably disclose at the beginning of service or at booking. Luckily, I already have both set up but others may not which could be an issue.
