Highly disappointed with this place! Walked into my scheduled 1:30 appointment (with Kim) and Kim started working on my fill while Julie worked on my toes. 5 minutes later 4 people walk in early for their 2:00 appointment. Julie finished my toes while Kim started someone's manicure. I sat for a few minutes and waited for Kim before she continued on with my fill. As she is working on my fill another group walks in for their 2:00 appointments. Kim explained to them she had gotten the days confused and their appointment was accidentally scheduled for the next day. She told them they had to return the following day. Kim continued my fill and rushed the entire time and I had my nails different lengths and the shape was off. I asked if she could even them out. She did a quick file of a few nails but didn't pay attention to making the lengths of all nails the same. I pointed out the nails which were relatively longer than the others. Her response to me was, "we can't keep going back and forth about this." I told her all I wanted was for the nails to have the same shape and lengths. I had to point out which nails to file. At the end I was charge $4 more than what I paid the previous time for the same exact service. I guess the "going back and forth" increased the price. Fast forward 10 days and my nails literally began popping off one by one! Never have I had acrylics literally fall off like cheap press on nails. ***Per Glamour Nail response below: It's insulting to blame my children for lack of consistency. One was on the iPad and the other was asleep. My daughter did wake up mid fill and asked to be tended to twice but was never to your inconvenience. The interruptions were not only made by my asking to have consistency in nails but also with your lack of professionalism. Not only was I made to wait for my scheduled appointment but also for you to apologize to other patrons for your mistake in setting up appointment. Perhaps the "stress" you are referring to was caused by booking 8 people for 2:00 appointments with only 2 workers and having to send away half of those. About the nails themselves I not only specified which nails to be shortened but also which nails to file. You did a quick file and didn't change the length nor the shape. This is why I asked again. You said "I will have you check everything at the end." So I again, pointed it out once again. I did not have "inconsistent demands". I simply asked all nails have the same shape and be relative in length. I'm sorry, but I am the one wearing and paying for my nails, I will ask for them to be done rightfully so. Funny how the only things mentioned in your response were my kids and my "inconsistent demands." Nothing was mentioned on your lack of professionalism, the overcharge I received nor the unexplainable reason why all my nails fell off after 10 days. That's really quite odd as I have had acrylics many times and whenever I have tried to take them off its the biggest struggle usually having to crack or cut to get the nails off. Not this time! Paintfully slow service by one of the ladies! I got a pedicure and a manicure. The lady who worked on my toes apparently didn't speak any English. She communicated by pulling on my feet to get me to do what she wanted. It took her about 30minutes or so to polish my toe nails, and still did a mediocre job. The one who did my manicure kept utilizing the 'dirty' water from my pedicure to get my fingernails wet. It grossed me out a little. It didn't seemed very sanitary. I will never return. The ladies are so nice and kind (they also speak English very well, which is always an added bonus), the place is clean and modern, and I felt so relaxed. I am a little concerned at the lack of single use products. First I soaked my nails in a tub of nail polish remover with a sponge inside that was falling apart, then the file and buffer were reused as well. It is very important to prevent the spread of bacteria that create infections. I hope this review can help influence a change in the salon. read more

The first time I went to this salon, I was very happy with the service and how my nails looked. This second time I went in, I was extremely disappointed. I showed them a picture of what I wanted done beforehand to make sure it could be done. A simple red with nude moon at the bottom. She said no problem. So I sat back relaxed.... Well, now I don't think she knew what she was doing. When it got to the point of putting the nude moon on, she kept trying to talk me into another color saying that what I wanted wouldn't work. So I kept changing the nude color to achieve what I wanted. Again she just kept saying it wouldn't work. So frustrated at this point, I said just to do the red. She finished doing the red and I tried asking what the problem was and why I wasn't getting what I originally want. She just kept saying it wouldn't work and she would do it next time... Why didn't I get it the first time?!?! I offered to pay more money for what I wanted and she said next time. The place was not busy so I seriously don't understand what the problem was. Also the owner was sitting on the couch in her phone while I was trying to get an answer. Great salon for a basic one color, but anything other then that I would go somewhere else. Horrible customer service, and unpleasant employees. I went into the shop today to have a nail repaired and a fill . The shop was slightly busy and person I was speaking with pulled out an appointment book ( with one appointment listed at about noon,) she stated that they were going to have a few appointments and to come back in at 12:45 ( approximately 30 minutes later. I wasn't offered the chance to sit and wait on the two big empty couches. so, I followed her instructions and came back at the time given. When I walked in I was treated as if I wasn't worth the time of day and a complete idiot who didn't listen to the time she told me. The employee then said "now now you come back at two." Which would put it an hour and a fifteen minutes later than the original time she gave me. I stated she had already told me to come back at 1245 she was extremely rude and said "no that's fine, but you come back at two." I couldn't believe how poorly I was treated. I saw the appointment book with no one listed in it. There were two other customers in the shop with an employee sitting and playing on their phone. Now, I get that I don't look like a wealthy person, but I don't look like a hoodlum either. I have worked in customer service and in jobs where my income depends on tips. I have always gone out of my way to be kind, treat employees and other customers with respect, and tip well to people in the service industry. The disregard I was treated with today was awful. This place is truly a gem. After going to many many nail salons I was lucky enough to find this place, open on a Sunday, unbelievable color selection, and the greatest techs I've ever seen. Julie and Kim are awesome! They work by appointment too and so if you are busy like I am and have a weird schedule they can accommodate in advance. I've also done a quick walk in with them and they were able to get me in in a few minutes so I think they're very flexible. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has a large party because they have a lot of available pedicure stations and the best best best chairs in the world!!! I got my first pedicure here ever with my wife, trying to do a fun new date night with her - kind of weird, but it surprised her and she had fun. Coming here was mostly based on where I could get the two of us in on a Friday night. My wife has had many pedicures and usually goes to places where I know she pays far more. It was fun for me, very clean and the two girls there were very friendly. I can't speak to the quality as I have nothing to compare it to, so this is based on what my wife said, but she loved it and said it was far better than the other places she has visited. I called super early to make an appointment for a fill later in the day and let the lady know that I also wanted to change the color of my acrylics. I don't think she understood because she said "oh you only need a color change?" And I said no I need to get a fill but I'll be changing the color of the acrylics. She said okay I'll put you down for a color change because it means the same thing. I came in a little early for my appointment, let them know I was going to pick my new color and walked away. A lady walked up to me, I'm assuming the owner, and told me I only asked for a color change. When I said no I need a fill and I mentioned it on the phone she continued to argue with me. Like full on argue that I never said fill at all. She refused to take responsibility for her own actions and claimed she's the only one who answers the phone and that I said I needed a color change. And regardless who doesn't get a fill with a color change? That doesn't make sense. Was she just going to change the color without doing the fill? She then proceeded to tell me she had other appointments and didn't want to deal with me. Then acted UPSET when I told her I was leaving. DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR NAILS. EVER. read more

I literally left half way into my appointment, which was 30 min of "work" that should've taken 15. To start, they used the drummel to take of the "shine" of my previous gel manicure. Then I asked about soak off which then they had me soak my fingertips in those store bought tubs of nail polish remover with the sponges in them. Not acetone! Then of course it didn't work so she chipped at my nails with a cuticle tool. Barely filed my nails and I could feel how rough they are. After a one minute soak she was about to use a disgusting tool to take clip off the dead skin, I asked for a sanitized one, which apparently means just rinsing it in water and spraying alcohol on it. I made them drop what they were doing and told the one that spoke most English that I am not impressed with your procedures so far and how unsanitary it is here. So I left. Her only response was if I don't feel safe to leave. Looking around, no licenses are on display and there are tools that look like haven't been properly disinfected in weeks. Save your nails and don't go. I feel bad for the lady next to me. She was complaining how brittle her nails always are and sounded like a regular. WELL?! why aren't you properly removing gel or acrylic?! read more

I have fallen in love with Glamour Nails. I am so impressed with Kim and Julie and are so accommodating and easy to conversate with. They heard my phone dying and offered me their charger to charge my phone. They remember their customers by name and their pedicure chairs are SO NICE! The massage chairs move forward or backwards and recline. They allow you to customize your body size so that the massage rollers aren't drilling the back of your head (I am 5' 3") You will not be disappointed! I really, really, really wish I could give this place 5 stars! My cousin and I got our nails done today by the two ladies in there and they were the sweetest! They were very nice. Pros: Very clean, awesome massage chairs, a ton of polish and gel colors to choose from, and great customer service. Cons: We were charged with a deluxe pedicure when we didn't ask for a deluxe, we just wanted a regular, basic pedicure. So for each of us to get pedicures, a full set, and gel on both our feet and hands cost $81. Each. And that didn't include tip. Usually when I get this done, I would pay anywhere from $65-70 for all of it. I really wish they asked if we wanted the deluxe pedicure. We asked for "coffin nails" and all of my nails came out completely different from each other. The shaping is really off. Some are really pointy and some are not. And this one isn't too big of a deal...it wasn't their fault. But, I picked a coral colored gel for my feet and it came out neon orange after it dried.
