After doing some checking on yelp and google reviews, I came across Albo moving. Their reviews were really good, and they were close to my parent's house where I was living at the time. I reached out via cell and Alex responded the same day asking for more info. I texted it all to him. The next day he emailed me a quote and laid out all the info. The pricing was very fair, and based on his quick response time and great reviews, I decided to hire them. I am very glad that I did. My move went extremely well. I hired 2 movers and a 20-foot truck. Eugene and Serg were great. They clearly communicated their arrival time and kept me updated via text. There were 2 pick up locations - my storage unit and my parent's house. They had everything from storage wrapped and packed into the truck in 2 hours. Then we went to my parents for a few more things, we were out of there in under an hour. They drove to Jersey City and then had the entire truck unpacked and moved in and all the packing material cleaned up in 3 hours. It was an extremely hot day and the guys worked really hard and very quickly. I could not be more grateful to Alex and his team for the excellent job, and I would definitely hire them again for my next move. We made it known that we had budgetary limitations and a specific timeframe required for completion of the project- and The Kitchen Wizards were truly there for us when it felt like nobody else was. Our house was built in 1850. Other contractors hemmed and hawed about working on a home of that age and were full of excuses. Milosz and Lukasz, they made it happen! It turns out, The Kitchen Wizards can do a lot more than just kitchens! Our project involved work on a bathroom, a finished attic, a new laundry room, new flooring, plumbing & electrical, paint, carpentry, and placing an all-new kitchen inside the old kitchen's footprint. They always have units available for a reason. I'm very surprised that my friend who rents here (who also just canceled after yet another high increase) hasn't written a review. This is the worst storage place ever! They use deceptive and unfair business practices. They claimed my credit card was expired...it was not. Then they charged me $20 late fees on each unit and claimed they could not reverse the late fees. Now they are claiming that there will be another $200 late fee on top of that one. They are crooks and I reported them to BBB already. Do not ever use them!!
