They would not clean my husbands teeth cause his pressure was up. I tried to reschedule my sons appt, two weeks in advance of appt & got the three month rule thrown at me. Appt was for April & they wanted to reschedule him in August. When I mentioned that I had just been there a few weeks before at 11am their was no one at all there before or after me, the receptionist got nasty & didn't like my comment. I asked for a call back from the owner himself & never got a call. Was curious if the owner was ok w loosing 3 patients over his 3 month reschedule game. No…read moreone likes going to the dentist and going to someone we don't know brings up all that old anxiety. So, I procrastinated as long as possible before searching for a replacement. Then serendipity intervened. I ran into my former dentist's wife in Staples last week. After chatting a while, I asked if she could refer me to someone new in the area. Indeed, she could. Turned out that they had a friend, Linda Batista, a DMD in Langhorne, PA, who was excellent. I called her office the next day for an appointment. She answered the phone herself. I went to see her this week. While the landlord should spruce up the exterior and repave the parking lot, the office itself was fine. Plenty of staff handling administration and hygienist work, and two dental chair examination rooms for the pair of licensed professionals handling the high speed drills. Dr. Batista introduced herself early in my visit. She was personable and explained what would be happening for the following 30 minutes. Description of my complaints (why I was there), a look at my teeth with water and air, x-ray of my broken tooth, repair, and finally a treatment plan for whatever came next (comprehensive examination, diagnostics, cleaning and whitening). She worked quickly and precisely, explaining herself as she went along. The injured bicuspid was dealt with in minutes and finished with me feeling comfortable. I left with a smooth firm bite. Nice not to feel that sharp edge against my tongue any more. I was very satisfied with the first experience with Dr. Batista, and enjoyed our brief conversation at the counter as I paid the invoice and scheduled the next session. This could be the beginning of a long beneficial relationship.
