I wrote a prior review and Dr. White replied so I need a chance to answer her. I showed up 12 mins late to an appointment and she turned me away. I eneded up going to a different derm and going through the horror of a potential melanoma biopsy (thankfully negative). Her reply says I had been late other times. This is NOT true. My teenage daughter once had a scheduling issue but never me. In any case, life happens. Whenever a patient reports a concerning mole as the reason they need to be seen, the Dr. should make it a priority. This is why surgeons and medical oncologists complain about dermatologists like Dr. White. In her reply, Dr White says they offer next day or same week emergency appts. for those who were turned away. Also not true. They did not offer me either. As far as cancer screening, all I can say is the other derm I saw subsequent to Dr. White was far more detailed, taking measurements and recording every single spot that looked remotely off. If Dr. White had done a more thorough check just 8 months prior and seen me despite my being literally 12 mins late, I could have avoided a terrible situation. I am not doing this to "bash" Dr. White, just letting the public know of my experience. As I said, her front office is kind and competent and Dr. White seems like a nice person. I'd be cautious about doing anything beyond cosmetics with her. read more

Before I even showed up for my annual skin check appointment (my first in Pennsylvania), I was encouraged by the level of customer service. Making the appointment was quick and easy and the friendly staff set me up with an online account which allowed me to complete my profile prior to arrival. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who helped me complete my paperwork and an online profile using a tablet computer. The office was open and inviting and adhered to COVID protocols. The staff members that escorted me to the examination room and later took the initial information prior the exam were warm, friendly and professional. Dr. White was personable and did a thorough exam. She took the time to talk to me about her findings and she and her assistant took a small skin biopsy for an issue I had previously expressed a concern about. The needle prick was painless and the procedure quick and is healing nicely. I was attracted to this dermatology practice because it is a small business run by a sole practitioner whose background I had thoroughly researched. I have learned that the office staff can make or break a medical practice. In this case, the office staff shares as the best supporting actors of my 5 star review with Dr. White. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this practice and Dr. White. read more

I had a fantastic experience yesterday when I was the patient cared for by Anne Marie Wagner. First I have to say that I started as a patient of Anne Marie about 25 years ago . When I met her she had recently arrived on US soil with an exquisite European Skin Care education. From the first time she evaluated my skin I could tell she was the real deal...a truly exceptional aesthetician.Yesterday was a even better as she had not seen me in a long time and there were several changes in my skin exacerbated my age. Anne Maire got right on track and said this care routine will be what you need now and going forward we can tweak some changes. I must say that when we discussed what my current routine is, she examined all my products and told me the best ones were and delete the ineffective ones. My treatment was tailored just for me...when i left there I had a diagram of home care for morning and night....as ever I felt confident I was again in her capable hands where I will remain...Dr White was so fortunate to have her on her staff. She is a true asset to the practice which is exceptional . I had some homework to do and will return in a month for my next evaluation and see how I'm doing with my products...I was so happy when i left...I gave Anne Marie a hug and said welcome back my dear friend and skin care wizard.. My daughter has had eczema since she was born. It has been under control for the past few years. Recently it had flared and has become exceedingly uncomfortable. As I began to search for a new dermatologist I cam across Dr White. We were able to secure an appointment right away...which never happens. What a great experience it has been! The office is beautiful. The staff is great! The COVID protocols are excellent. Dr White has been fantastic. We never fell rushed while in the office. She put a plan in place and take the time to explain the "why" behind the course of treatment. Having an 8 year old at a Doctors office can be stressful. Dr. White engages with my daughter, that is important as it makes my daughter feel extremely comfortable at the office. Dr. White even did a great "magic trick". If you are looking for a great knowledgeable dermatologist, that cares about her patients...go see Dr. White!! read more

They wouldn't see a patient because the health plan was covered by Cobra, even though they were listed as an approved in-network provider under the health insurance plan. Their explanation was that people who are "between jobs" are a financial risk, even though the health plan was being paid for. The health insurance company agreed that they can't do this, but there's little for us to do but complain on Yelp. Thanks for being so understanding during the pandemic while people were laid off! read more

RW Dermatology is a beautiful, state of the art office. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I had two Clear and Brilliant laser treatments by Anne Marie. Each treatment I saw dramatic results! I highly recommend! Social distancing, masks, and temperature check are a must upon entering to keep the office safe. I fully trust this practice for all my skincare needs! read more

Lied to! What a racket! Couldn't choose ZERO stars! Thought I had found a nice practice, but things did not turn out that way. First visit in January I was told that if I come back for a consultation, there would be a $100 consultation fee that I would have to pay but that that fee would be applied to any future procedure I would have at the practice. Met with Dr. White on Tues. of this week who recommended that I start out with Charlotte. Met with Charlotte, who was wonderful, and then went to pay for the products I had purchased. The secretary stated I owed the $100., for which I wrote the check. In handing her the check, I confirmed that this $100 would be applied to the "peel" I scheduled with Charlotte in 2 weeks from now. I was told the $100 ONLY gets applied to procedures which Dr. White performs. When I told the secretary that's not what I was told on my initial visit, she stated that is the office policy. I then asked if Charlotte is an employee or an independent contractor. I was told Charlotte is an employee. So I, again, asked why the $100 cannot be applied to the peel when I come back. She stated she'd have Frank call me, who is the office manager and who happens to be Dr. White's husband. I had to call twice before I received a phone call from him 3 days later. Needless to say he took the stance that they tell all their employees to specifically state to the customer that the $100 is applied to cosmetic procedures ONLY performed by Dr. White and that the $100 is for her time in the consultation. He further told me that Charlotte is paid on commission. In him not believing what I was told by HIS employee, he was indirectly calling ME a liar!! Wow!! He said he would not do anything further regarding the $100. So I called back, cancelled my peel and will tell everyone in the community about my experience. I guess they never heard of "put the customer first." Also, perhaps Charlotte should be aware, since she is "paid on commission," that the very people she is working with/for are costing her business!! read more
