Needless to say I was annoyed and just wound up getting neosporin from target. I made this appointment reluctantly because in my mind I had no weird markings on my body. Sadly, a close friend of mine 10 years younger had skin cancer on her back & she had to have some of her Lymph nodes removed. That was a wake up call for me to get checked since I can't tell you the last time I went to a dermatologist. I want to give Dr. Enis & his nurses 5 stars they were truly incredible. I wound up with having to have one thing removed from my body and I'm a complete baby when it comes to anything like this. The Dr. had the best bed side manner & explained everything to me, even though I really wasn't listening because I was so upset. The girls were super sweet and even offered to hold my hand. I'm glad I didn't let the front desk people ruin my appointment because I highly recommend anyone especially sun worshippers like me to get checked out & schedule an appointment with Dr. Enis.

Appointments with Carly Overland, PA often felt rushed (around 10-15 minutes), and I rarely felt there was enough time to fully evaluate my condition or discuss treatment options. I was prescribed medications like Rinvoq and Nemluvio, which require careful monitoring, but the risks and long-term considerations were never thoroughly discussed. When I raised concerns about a self-administered injection medication, I was told I could "take the shot or not -- it's ultimately up to me," which felt dismissive when I was seeking medical guidance. The front office experience was also concerning. On multiple early visits, staff member Mary Lou could be heard gossiping about patients within earshot of the waiting area. When I transferred my care to another provider, obtaining my records was unnecessarily difficult. I was initially told they had been sent, but two weeks later learned they had not. I was then told there was a $25 fee to mail them because the office cannot transfer records electronically. My records were eventually faxed to my new doctor, who raised concerns about the medications I had been prescribed and the potential long-term risks of taking them together--something that had never been discussed with me. Communication with the office, including staff member Brandi, eventually stopped after I raised concerns about these delays. Insurance also denied coverage for a prescribed injection medication due to documentation issues, forcing me to pause treatment for two months. Overall, communication within the New Hope office felt disorganized and poorly coordinated. Patients dealing with complex dermatological issues deserve careful monitoring and clear communication, which I did not experience here. Additionally, the practice's public response to my review included inappropriate assumptions about my family. The office also called multiple times from owner Dan Schrager's number even after I requested written communication and blocked the office line.

I truly regret that now. I booked a Cosmelan peel and specifically confirmed in writing and in person that I wanted the original formula -- not the newer version, which I had used before and didn't want. Both the front desk and the esthetician assured me I'd be receiving the original. After the treatment, my skin reacted completely differently -- I experienced a severe breakout, something that never happened with the original formula. That's what first made me question whether they actually used the right product. When I followed up, I was met with rude, dismissive behavior and zero accountability. After multiple follow-ups, they finally admitted they had used the wrong formula -- exactly what I had asked them not to use. At first, they refused to take any responsibility. No apology, no solution -- just excuses and gaslighting. It wasn't until I kept pressing that they eventually offered a "touch-up" with what they claimed was the original formula. But that turned out to be even worse -- the jar they offered had already been opened and used on another client. That is absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable, especially for a medical-grade chemical peel. How is that even safe This wasn't just a small mix-up -- this was a medical-grade treatment applied without informed consent, followed by an offer to "fix" it with someone else's leftovers. It's honestly disturbing. And this isn't the first red flag. A while back, they sold me a $300 product that was set to expire in just two months, and when I brought it up, they refused to replace it. I still gave them another chance out of good faith. That was a mistake. The most alarming part was my phone call with the owner, Inna. She constantly talked over me, was defensive, unapologetic, and kept insisting, "But this formula is better." That's completely irrelevant -- I did not consent to it. She even admitted that the front desk and esthetician made a mistake, but still claimed they weren't wrong -- just "uninformed." So who actually knows anything at this spa? Why are clients being treated by staff who, by the owner's own words, are not properly trained or trusted to communicate accurate information? If you're considering going to Novique Medical Spa, please be cautious. Triple-check every treatment and product directly with the owner, because your consent and safety may not be prioritized. I specifically requested liposuction multiple times, as my previous surgeon included it and it was necessary for symmetry, but Dr. Chapin told me it was not needed. It was not performed, and my thighs show no improvement. The extended incision now protrudes even more than before. I spent $3,500 on the thigh revision with absolutely no positive change. I also only agreed to the upper and lower back lift because Dr. Chapin strongly recommended them, assuring me they would significantly improve my contour. These were not procedures I sought out myself. After spending an additional $12,000, the results are extremely minimal and not at all reflective of what was described to me. What stands out most is how dismissive Dr. Chapin was of my concerns. From my very first follow-up, I expressed dissatisfaction, yet my concerns were brushed aside again and again. At my most recent scheduled appointment--where the office was already 20 minutes behind--I was told Dr. Chapin "didn't have time" to discuss my thigh issues and still perform scar injections, and that I had to pick one. This was a scheduled visit specifically meant to address my post-op needs, and being told there wasn't time to even discuss my concerns was incredibly disrespectful and invalidating. Anytime I pressed for answers or expressed that I was unhappy with the results, I was essentially told there was nothing that could be done and to "be happy with your body." This felt dismissive, minimizing, and completely out of line considering I had been raising the same concerns from the beginning and had invested significant money into procedures that produced little to no improvement. He is incredibly kind and funny, but more importantly he listens to your concerns and talks through everything with you. I told him I was in grad school and I felt like he truly cared - he would ask how it's going at every post-op visit. He's just a good person. On top of that though, he is a fantastic surgeon. My scar is a thin, faded, straight line now one year post op. My belly button looks natural. All of that is notoriously hard to achieve. I am so happy with my results. Dr. Chapin also PAID FOR MY UBER right out of surgery because I came to Doylestown from Philly and he knew I was a rather poor student. He didn't want me to worry about it while I was still groggy from the anesthesia. He is just a gem of a human, and an incredible surgeon. If you're debating on surgeons, I would recommend Dr. Chapin to anyone as a first choice. Lastly, his nurses are wonderful. Olivia doesn't work there anymore but she was the sweetest person I could've asked to take care of me (removing drains, assessing scars, etc).
