It is kind of like an oasis when travelling in this area of Pennsylvania. This sits on a fairly big piece of land, but somehow still feels small. Maybe that is because many people stop here to get gas or pick a forgotten item at home. My most recent visit here I observed many people coming out with items like milk and bread. You may end up paying a bit more than at your neighborhood grocery store, but I don't think many people would mind due to the fact that you are saving yourself a trip and some hassle. As far as gas prices, they are reasonable and expected for the area. Honestly I feel like this spot could charge whatever it wanted. They do not have any immediate competition nearby. It is one of the first exits to Somerset that offers gas. And people will come here regardless of that. Not sure who supplies the gas, but it seems to be fairly good with mileage. For a roadside stop, definitely fills the need.

The same Iron Star that owns Coffee Tree shops. If this coffee is any indication, I think I need to visit Coffee Tree again. It's been a while. Anyway, I had a really good cup of coffee and a peanut butter and jelly cookie. No complaints on the cookie, but I wish they had some breakfast sweets like scones or cinnamon rolls. The manager is super nice and eager to take care of you right away. I've been here to get tires plugged or balanced and he charges little or sometimes nothing to do it. I've bought tires and have been happy with the price. My most recent trip was to get tires balanced, but it turns out they needed to be replaced. I wasn't pressured to buy the most expensive and they even threw in a few extras for me! I will be a customer as long as I'm in the area because I can trust this shop to do a good job at a fair price.

The offer an array of convenience items to grab and go. Also offered is a limited variety of groceries. You can make this a one stop shop if you want. Grab your milk, eggs, bread, frozen items, seasonings, meats, snacks, condiments, etc. They also offer beer, so if that is your need, you can get it here. They offer PA Skill Games if you want a distraction. There is a small dine in area if you want to eat while here. In all honesty, this was greatly needed in this area. It offers something that you would have to travel a ways to get. There is no real grocery store in the area and this fills that void a bit.
