He came recommended & the receptionist was very sweet and attentive- so I had hoped for thoughtful, corrective treatment. From the beginning, though, I didn't feel truly heard. My concerns were dismissed during the initial consultation, and the treatment plan had to be redone after I pushed back. I also specifically told the doctor (with photos) that one of his technicians had previously damaged the finish on one of my veneers while placing attachments. Despite that, he still had another technician (unsupervised) remove and replace my attachments again -- even after I expressed how nervous I was about it. The technician was aggressive, rushed, and careless -- using excessive pressure in areas that didn't need treatment at all. I left that appointment with bleeding gums, new gaps between my teeth (particularly the lower front 8), visible enamel thinning, sensitivity and translucency that wasn't there before, and noticeable changes to the shape of my teeth (Which cannot grow back.)I was assured that no IPR would be done, yet the spacing now allows me to move floss side-to-side between teeth that used to be tight. My teeth lost most of their roundness and fullness- they are now flattened, smaller and boxier When confronting them, I was met with gaslighting and lack of accountability. What hurts most is knowing I voiced my concerns more than once -- and was still treated as if they didn't matter. No one should have to fight this hard just to receive careful, respectful treatment. So basically I went in to fix a problem and ended up with an even bigger one. If you're considering this office, I encourage you to advocate fiercely for yourself, ask direct questions, and listen to your gut. I regret not protecting myself more firmly after the first red flag. Patients deserve to be heard and to have their treatment performed with care, especially when they come in already vulnerable and trying to fix previous mistakes.

She said it consisted of several needles and cutting my gums. Given that it was a front tooth is was really scaring my 3-year-old. I made an appointment with Dr. Tamara Yelizar and she has found every way to uncharge me for simply gluing of the crown. 1. She has not walked out of her office to actually speak to me nor UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM SAPCE. 2. She wanted $100 for an emergency visit - I am not sure how it's an emergency visit if I made an appointment in advance. 3. She wanted $100 in addition to temporary glue the crown - which is insulting, to begin with, to even offer or $200 to permanent glue. If I would choose the correct option the total bill would be $300. After walking out of the office I phoned my dentist friend and ran that story by him. He found that entire approach to that situation highly unprofessional and unfair. I really hope that this practices become more customer-centric.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with the billing department was extremely disappointing. I contacted the office regarding a billing issue and was instructed by the billing manager, Odwin, to contact my insurance company to dispute the charge myself. After spending considerable time on the phone with my insurance provider, I was informed that the problem did not originate with the insurance company, but rather with the office's billing process. What frustrated me most was not only being given incorrect information, but also the way I was treated during the interaction. The billing manager was rude and disrespectful, and after the error was identified, there was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused and no apology. Patients should not have to spend their own time resolving internal billing errors, especially while being treated unprofessionally. While I continue to appreciate the dentists and staff who provide excellent clinical care, my experience with the billing department left me very discouraged. I hope the office addresses these concerns so that other families do not have a similar experience.

I mean, they're always really nice and courteous on the phone when I call to tell them my son has arrived for his appointment. If you think about it, the first person a patient/parent meets is the receptionist so they can make or break the mood of the appointment. No worries here ... receptionists are SUPERB and a pleasure to deal with. My son's appointment today was with Dr. Ari, his orthodontist. Dr. Ari has always been very open and honest with what needs to be done and what can wait to be done at a later time. He is very reassuring whenever I've had questions about when my son would need to get his braces in. My son actually had his braces put in the month before the pandemic began ... but Dr. Ari never skipped a beat. I got monthly calls to see how things were going and Dr. Ari even FaceTimed my son a couple of times to do virtual appointments to check on how his braces were coming along. Obviously during the period while the office was closed, things were hard but once the office decided to open back up, I got a call requesting to make an appt (if I felt comfortable enough ... which I was) for my son to go in and see Dr. Ari in person. I always recommend Dr. Charlie and Dr. Ari to anyone looking for a top-notch pediatric dentist and/or pediatric orthodontist. Then I was seen by Dr. Sukoff. He could not have been any nicer and more informative. He spoke of options and listened to what I wanted to accomplish with my smile. He then told me (and actually brought up pictures) about a cosmetic procedure that would accomplish what I wanted. I had never known or thought of this procedure as an option. It was so refreshing to talk to a Doctor who only wanted to help me, even if it meant sending me elsewhere. I so appreciate the knowledge he gave me to fix my smile. Thank you, Dr. Sukoff!
