I wouldn't go here. They care nothing about their repeat customers. After purchasing a large bucket for the range, I hit a few extra balls that were out in the bays, just to warm up. They made me pay extra! Hey Golf the round: you just lost a loyal customer who visited 2-3 times per week and spends 100's there every Summer. My oh my it was a lovely day to get out to the driving range! Its been a while and with nice weather I could not pass up that opportunity with that said it was a fantastic experience all the way from the nice lady who helped me at the window, where you can buy a code and use it at the ball disepenser which is convient due to if your in hurry you can use coins. As well note there are paid refreshments there like water, cold beers and snacks. And golf supplies like teas, balls ( I saw bags for like 5$ grab bags I think there were 10 balls in them that is not bad at all. The driving range they have is an open range with no digital ball counter the nice thing is you can enjoy the breeze. The open one with the counter has somewhat of a shelter with a computer to let you know how far you hit digitally. both are great The price for 75 balls was 10$ the best ten bucks I have spent in a while. They have other buckets too available. The green fees Monday to Thursday are 13$ plus $18 for a cart note there has to be 2 people per cart its first come first serve! THE GOOD One of the biggest driving ranges in the Salt Lake Valley, and perhaps even the state of Utah, golf the round is perfect for beginners and experts alike. There are plenty of grass stalls to hit from, some with ball-tracking technology, and lots of targets to aim for down range. There are also covered bays to hit golf balls from--a nice shady spot for the summer, the bays are heated in the winter, making Golf the Round a great place to work on your swing all year round. Besides the range, facilities include a chipping green, putting green, and a 9-hole course that's perfect for those learning to golf. The course isn't spectacular, but it's short, slice-friendly, and only has a couple of bunkers and ponds, so not a lot of trouble. Staff members have always been very friendly to me. For those interested, there are PGA professionals at Golf the Round that offer lessons to golfers of all skill levels. THE BAD Unfortunately, Golf the Round is located right next to a garbage dump, so the smell can be quite putrid at times. Additionally, the part of the range you hit to is primarily dirt and dead grass, so it isn't the most aesthetically pleasing, but it doesn't really affect how you hit the golf ball. OVERALL Golf the Round is a great spot to improve your golf game, and the prices are fair. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a golf course. This course is right next to a treatment plant. Right when driving up you could begin to smell a horribly foul odor. When we parked and got out of our car we realized it was even worse and when stepping foot on the course, it was somehow even worse than that! I purchased a small bucket of balls (the prices here are even higher than the likes of old mill, glenmoore, and got through maybe 10-15 shots before the horrendous aroma, lack of upkeep and overall bottom of the barrel experience was too much to ignore. This is by far the worst golf experience I have ever had. I felt so bad for the lady at the front window where you pay. She was very nice and it's a shame she has to suffer through that horrible smell every time she works! read more

I enjoy the driving range and the green to practice chipping on. The staff is Terrific.

I hadn't been to this place in like 15 years and I was blown away with the tech. To be able to practice and get real feedback from the launch monitor is amazing. We enjoyed a round on Tory Pines South. It takes a minute to figure out the targets but once you get there we loved it read more

Pros: Staff was AWESOME and definitely willing to help with whatever was needed. Definitely a slice friendly course. No tee times: a "first come first serve" course. Can be a pro or con on preference, but it's nice for a last minute golf round. Cons: 4 star (possibly 3 tbh) because groups of people like to cut or skip holes which throws everyone out of order in life for 9. Some areas you don't want to hook or else you're too far in some water. Some fairways/greens are literal dirt. read more

Love this place. Covid be damned they were open throughout the whole shut down. They did everything right and worked their butts off to stay open. If you want to work on your game, go to GTR. The owner is there working hard as well. The golf teachers are amazing and staff incredibly friendly. Not to mention the high tech instant feedback on every ball that you hit with Toptracer. I recommend this place 100% for anyone Wanting to enjoy the range of opportunities provided by Golf The Round. read more

Great view with grass driving ranges! My boyfriend and I hit up this place on a sunny afternoon in February. I just love that they are open for those random beautiful days where the weather is perfect for hitting a few balls. The range was grass, and pretty well kept up grass given the time of year! They also had a nice putting green. Also, for those who want to be in the shade, they had a covered area to hit balls. The amount of space available for customers is great. I wonder if it fills up in the spring. Lots of space and great customer service! I didn't have clubs and they let me use some free of charge. Can't beat this! I am going to look into some lessons here, they are reasonably priced. I only wished I could better see the distance markers so I knew how far I was hitting it. All in all, I will frequent this place this year, in hopes to get better at golf. read more

The reason this place gets such high stars is because we live in Utah and we can't golf year round. They keep the mats in good shape, I wish they had more of the long tees since almost everyone needs them. They have a large amount of bays and so nice to have the heaters on a chilly day. The one thing............it always smells weird, I have yet to figure out why! But once again a golf nut that needs to practice in the winter I am so grateful! read more

Took the time to look up their hours of business before I drove there and it showed that they close at 8:00 pm. Get in the car, drove up there hoping that I could hit a few range balls before they close. Pulled up there at 6:50 pm and a lady was locking up the gate. She said that they're closed, well it would be nice for them to update their hours before shutting out their Customers!!! read more

The staff there is amazing. Will bend over backwards to help. Got a lot of great advice and you don't even have to pay for it!!! Sweet. Would highly recommend it to any one. I go there quite often and there is a month where the mosquitos are out but its not that bad but, I think that goes for most golf courses that time of year. Prices I think are the best in Utah!
