Had the entire upstairs to ourselves with our own bathroom! I highly recommend this place for a nice weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The breakfast both mornings was a mini delicious feast! Carla is an excellent cook! The meals are served family style! We were served this delicious homemade rose' jelly that she was even nice enough to give us the recipe too! The decor of the house was beautiful and clean. The rooms come with a mini fridge. Which was great bc we were so stuffed from breakfast that we didn't get to eat our picnic lunch she made for us! There are tons of wineries in the area to visit. Carla was amazing with offering suggestions and bits of information about most of them. There are also various handouts at the house to browse over as well. The nearby towns offer great places to eat for dinner. Last but certainly not least, you get an insulated bag to take your cheesecake home in! YES you get an entire homemade cheesecake to take home with you!! Cheesecake Farms BB&B is a must!

Plus, I love horses and just being able to look at the horses made me happy, even if I couldn't ride them. I'm not sure what the usual set up is like, but through our deal we were fed food from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, and all of the food was amazing. Karla was there with a warm smile to greet us, and the Sunday breakfast was spectacular - if you're there for it, take small bites because more and more food just keeps arriving and you'll regret filling up on bread and pastries early on! Because we had our pooch with us, we stayed in the barn loft. It was very quiet (you can't hear or smell the horses at all), and had the upper apartment. It was very clean, very spacious, and a comfortable quiet getaway. Leave the windows open to listen to crickets all night long. Though I completely understand why they must have the rule, it's hard to see so much open land and have to keep your dog leashed all of the time. Our poor pooch just wanted to stretch her city legs in the grass and there are not paths to walk around in the woods on the immediate property. There are various vineyards and wineries near by (that allow dogs), and a 20 minute drive from several town hubs for dinner. The only criticism I can think of was that the food was all so incredibly delicious, but the coffee was not very good at breakfast. The high caliber of the meal just demands the compliment of french pressed coffee with high quality beans! And yes, as you guessed it, the cheesecake was divine!

I was really taken aback by a business looking like this, even if it's a business that works w/ animals. When we got there, the owner and assistant were on a ride w/ another group. Then the group we were supposed to be riding with were an hour late, so we had to wait for them. It was just annoying, although Steven (owner) was friendly. When we walked into the empty house it looked like a construction space, a hen was walking around the inside and I even saw it poop IN THE KITCHEN! Things finally turned around when I hopped on Sherman (my white horse w/ black spots). He was a greedy little thing and ate up all the grass but he was a great horse. Steven immediately put ppl on the horses and taught us while we were riding. He was a straight to it teacher and I liked that. He definitely knows what he's doing when it comes to animals. He took a bunch of pictures and videos and sent them to everyone in the group. I'm thankful to have such awesome pictures that didn't cost us extra. I'm giving 4 stars despite the filth because Steven was friendly, welcoming, and I enjoyed the experience. My advice: TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY for your business instead of accusing people of posting fake reviews or saying "it must've been another place". Owned by a South Asian it does cater to a lot of South Asian weddings but also other denominations. Pretty and large open space. However you have to park at the bottom of the Hill and walk up. If its cold or in heels, good luck. There is a small shuttle that will take 4-7 folks up but be careful getting in and out. If its early April and its cold, wear warm clothes like a overcoat. The bar and place for food buffets is outside...great for warm weather but not cold. The outdoor toilets flood so be aware. Nice large tent for guests but in cold weather don't depend on warmth from the heater as the door outside stays open a lot. Seems like a nice place to hold weddings with space but caveats beware.

On a more personal note, Isadora and Grace also went above and beyond with all of our floral needs, helping us put together our arbor flowers and a new beautiful bouquet for the bride with some of our spare flowers.
