Street parking nearby this college was all taken up so I had to park a bit further which wasn't too bad actually. It still took me about 10 mins to walk in. This time around I took a short cut by walking through the campus than walking around the campus like last time to get to the amphitheater where the graduation took place. By doing so, I got a chance to see a bit more of the campus. It's quite serene and quiet. This college was built on a hill for sure. Lots of uphill. If there's uphill, then there is downhill. It all balances out. I don't know if I'll be returning to this college any time soon since both my younger brother's kids have graduated from high school. Nevertheless, I was able to capture some new photos from my recent visit. Enjoy them! I am very proud of my niece for her accomplishments. I wish her all the very best in her next chapters in life. Go have more fun adventures!

As a fellow yelper said it so well.. are we really going to rate USC on Yelp? LOL!!…read more I am delighted and thrilled to share I am now an alumna of USC. As a yelper here for over 13 years, I don't sugarcoat my words (or in my reviews), and I don't intend to do so here either. The USC program is rigorous and not for everyone. There were so many readings that I often genuinely wondered if it was even humanly possible to get through them all. Granted, I am a slow reader, and that certainly did not help. Beyond the beautiful campus and the prestige that comes with the school, more importantly know that there is no financial aid for tuition fees for master program. Education does not come cheap. Still I am grateful for the learning experience and for my many professors who were simply wonderful and amazing professionals. A big shout out to Dr. Julianna Kirschner, Professor Monica Koyama, Dr. Muthuswamy and Dr. Courtney Pade. P.S. I do wish I had been in the class of Dr. Bracero and Dr. Akira; I have heard so many amazing things about them.

I didn't attend this prestigious University; however, I joke that I am an honorary alumna. My brothers from another mother all graduated from here, and I attend Homecoming with them every year. In fact, I used to work with Eddie Tannenbaum who discovered Traveler (USC's Mascot) when he was a junior in 1961. The campus is beautiful and features several Romanesque Revival style buildings. A portion of the main campus was entered in the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. The Coliseum is in walking distance. I've attended many football games here over the years and have seen Clay Matthews, Reggie Bush, Mark Sanchez, & Matt Leinart play. I remember the glory days of Pete Carroll. Our favorite tailgate party is the one hosted by LAMBDA. They have a great DJ, delicious food, a premium bar, fun activities and, of course, fabulous attendees! This year we were treated to yummy eats from Bludso's BBQ & tasty treats by Ice Cream Occasions. When the party was over, we all headed to the Coliseum for the match between the Trojans & the Huskies. Sadly, we lost this game but we will continue to Fight On!

Go here. How this place stays in business and how it earned accreditation is beyond me. I wish I could report them to some form of board of education for lack of teaching, lying and/or thieving. There's a shortage of healthcare workers. You'd figure they'd want people to graduate and come out strong instead of beat down, broke and taken advantage of. Look elsewhere for an education. I hope this place crumbles. Response to Victoria: Hey Victoria, why don't you take a look at your instructors to better understand my concern. How about an audit. How about listening and acting up in student complaints? Your responses to reviews are so generic. Copy and paste. This place is garbage.

Just graduated last May 12…read more One of the highlights of my nursing school journey at ACC was learning from incredible instructors like Dr. Ina and Miss Karla. Dr. Ina played a huge role in my success throughout Terms 3 and 4. She challenged us to do our best, encouraged us to stay disciplined, and provided countless resources to help us succeed. Her passion for teaching is truly inspiring--you can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that enthusiasm motivates her students every day. A special thank you as well to Miss Karla for being such a supportive, approachable, and genuinely fun instructor. She created a positive learning environment that made even the most challenging days more manageable. One area where I believe ACC could improve is the clinical rotation assignment process. Students are not given the opportunity to choose their clinical sites, and commute times are often not taken into consideration. For example, some students who live in Pasadena were assigned to Santa Monica, while students who live near Santa Monica are assigned to Pasadena. Even got threatened to be sent to San Gabriel the next time I complained. While I understand that clinical placements depend on site availability and program requirements, a more thoughtful approach that considers students' commuting distances and personal circumstances would help reduce stress and improve the overall learning experience. Overall, I am grateful for the education, support, and experiences I gained throughout the program. Thank you to all the instructors who invested their time, knowledge, and energy into helping us become future nurses.

I am disgusted by their lies and awful things I have heard over the course of my studies. From dismissing hearing and mental conditions as an excuse to the administration staff telling teachers that they have to reach a certain pass rate by either failing students that deserve to go on or passing students that should have failed. I have witnessed clinical instructors teaching students while poking the patient with the same needle more than once which is a huge health violation. They prefer students not with healthcare backgrounds so they don't get called out for their lack of proper education. They promise resources and help to students that need assistance but to the students that reach out, are scolded instead for even working once or twice a week and dismiss their requests for assistance. Their remediation for failing a test is talking to students that are a class ahead of you to tutor you for an hour without bringing up the test or similar questions so all that's left for them to say is to read the book with outdated information that contradicts what we learn online or in person. They leave it up to the students to decide which source to trust which leads to constant mistakes that are never learned. I admit my flaws as a student. I have lived with hearing aids and when they were broken I got no assistance from the school. I will admit I scored 73% and 74% in med surg and pharm (passing grade is 75%). I take accountability for my own actions but my mistake was assuming the school would be responsible enough to do the same. After all their smiles and fronts they put up. Once you are admitted and you're financially tied to them, they don't care about you anymore so unless you have 100k to spare for nursing and no responsibilities as an adult to teach yourself. Avoid this school at all costs.
