Read This Before Enrolling I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like I need to share my experience so others know what they might be dealing with. From June through August of 2025, I made multiple attempts to get help and clear answers about my situation at Glendale Career College. I reached out several times to Dr. Siao and Emily Gonzales through both email and phone calls, just trying to understand what steps I needed to take to move forward. This wasn't just one or two messages -- I followed up repeatedly over several months. I tried to schedule meetings, asked for guidance, and called multiple times. Every time I called, I was told she was either in a meeting or unavailable, and despite repeated attempts, I was never able to connect with her directly. Meanwhile, I was left not knowing what was going on or what I was supposed to do next. The most frustrating part is that I actually did what was asked of me. Emily Gonzales specifically told me to reach out to her regarding re-enrollment, which I did. On August 23, I sent a clear re-entry request (included in the screenshots). A few days later, I was told that I never submitted anything. That didn't make sense to me at all, because I have the email showing that I did. At one point, I was told they had already responded and were waiting for me to confirm an appointment. However, this did not align with my experience at all, as I had been consistently trying to reach them for weeks prior with no response. The appointment times that were eventually offered came after months of being unable to get clear communication, which is what caused the delay in the first place. This situation directly affected my ability to move forward with my education and ended up delaying me by approximately six months before I was able to continue into the next term. After everything escalated, the Director of Operations, Brooke, eventually reached out to me, apologized, and set up a meeting. At the time, I thought things were finally going to get handled. However, going into the next semester, I experienced similar issues again. There were multiple last-minute schedule changes, ongoing disorganization, and instances where classes were scheduled but no instructor was present for extended periods of time. In some cases, students were left waiting for hours without instruction, which made it difficult to maintain any consistent learning environment. When concerns were raised about these issues, the response often involved warnings about being dropped from the program rather than an effort to understand or resolve the situation. This was not just my experience -- multiple students in the class can account for the same issues. During a survey, there was also an emphasis on providing positive feedback rather than honest feedback, which felt discouraging considering the issues that were actively being experienced by students at the time. Students are taking on significant financial commitments for this program, which makes clear communication, organization, and accountability even more important. I made multiple attempts to resolve this privately before posting anything publicly. Situations like this should not happen when students are relying on clear guidance and communication. Timeline of events: * June 26: Initial email sent regarding my situation * July 17: Followed up and attempted to schedule a meeting * July 25: Additional follow-up after no response * August 4: Multiple calls and emails with no response * August 23: Sent formal re-entry request (attached) * August 26: Told I never submitted a re-entry request * August 29: Sent follow-up email summarizing all prior attempts and lack of response I've included screenshots showing the timeline of my communication attempts so you can review everything directly. If you're considering enrolling here, I would strongly recommend asking how they handle communication and student concerns, because in my experience, that was a major issue.

Ask the Community - Glendale Career College

Does anyone know if the first semester for surgical tech is fully online? Or do you have to be traveling to school for quizes or exams?

How hard was the pax exam for the LVN?

Not hard at all. Very easy

    Acceptance rate for phase 1?

    They accept everyone.

Has anyone taken the medical coding and billing classes? I'm going to sign up with GCC just don't know anything about this program?

I took the MIBC course with a great Professor but he is no longer at GCC campus. I don't think they've had anyone like him..he genuinely cares for students my class and myself were the lucky ones. I believe he was not appreciated but I believe he…

How is this school handling covid precautions? I just read one of the reviewers that said they don't clean or sterilize anything..

    Yeah they don't

Is it customary to terminate students fromt the program without question, for something they had no part in? Isn't there some type of appeal process?

Well the teachers manually lowered my final grade without reason manually so probably yes. This is a business

How is the LVN program? Is it part time? I was waitlisted at my local community college so looking for other options

The LVN program is full time. If I had the choice to pick again. Id wait for the local community college

I would love to hear about good or bad experiences with the CSIT ( sterile tech) course please?

I wouldn't recommend it, and all of my classmates would t recommend it either.

Is the surgical technician program any good? And is it worth it to go?

Not worth it. 70 % of my class regrets going. But good luck!

How much is the tuition for lvn program?

Hi I don't know you can call the school for information.

Pros & cons on the surgical tech course here.. did you find a job after? Was it hard to find one? Is the pay good? Thanks in an advance ☺️

Hi, I'm studying medical billing and coding. But my sister graduated from GCC 16 years ago and she's good. There is assistance . But it's up to us to land the job. The pay is very good especially if you get certified . Please ask regarding that. I…

What are there AdN program schedule? What is the time of their classes? Do they meet 3 days a week?

Monday-Friday from 8-830 pm and no you do not get to pick out ur schedule

What's the schedule looking like for the RN program?

Any reviews for the RN program. I really would like to look into it?

The educators are shitty. If you are liked by any of the educators then you will pass, if you're disliked then you will fail. Regardless of good academic , passing grades. Save your money and time.

Do they credit generals for RN program? I did all in a community college

    No. They don't.

How's the RN program at Glendale ????haven't seen many reviews besides Surgical Tech!

Do they offer evening classes for the RN PROGRAMS?

No. It's a full time program.

Has anyone done the RN program? Also, are the classes taken here transferable to a university for a BA?

No don't waste your time of the school at all they act like they don't care about you and I just took a few classes that way they don't know you didn't want to help you in that like I wasn't even there so no don't waste your time on the school it…

Is it worthed to start the Dental Assistance program?I just got the score to start with today at GCC but wanna know more about ur experiences?

GCC is not a good school to go to don't waste your time.. I am currently in the LVN program night classes and was told my clinicals and labs would be on Saturday Sunday now they put me during the week morning when I work full-time and now I have to…

For those who have been in the Central Service Instrument Technician/ Sterile Processing Technician, what were your class hours? and how much was tuition? were you working FT while attending school?

I actually just finished from that program last week. I did the evening class because my work schedule(part time) was only in the morning and for the Tuition and stuff just call the school about that

Our son started his journey at FPM when he was three years old in TK. He continued through kindergarten and first grade, and looking back, we truly feel that these early years gave him the best possible start to his education. Foothill has provided him with so much more than academics. The Montessori approach helped him develop independence, confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning. He started reading in kindergarten, learned how to build lasting friendships, and developed skills that we know will continue to benefit him throughout his education. By the time he was in 1st grade, he was confident in public speaking and presenting in front of an audience - thanks to the motivation and guidance of his teachers. What has meant the most to us, however, is the care and attention he received from his teachers. In particular, Ms Dushy, Ms Princess, Ms Rebecca and Ms Daniella (TK and Kindergarten) and Ms Sherene and Dr Bodner (1st grade). They were exceptional in recognizing his individual needs, encouraging his strengths, and helping him grow not only as a student but as a person. They placed such an important emphasis on kindness, respect, responsibility, and developing strong values and work ethic. As our son moves into second grade, we can see just how well Foothill Progressive Montessori has prepared him for this next chapter. We are incredibly thankful to the teachers and staff who played such an important role during these formative years. Foothill Progressive Montessori will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and I would highly recommend the school to any family looking for a nurturing environment that truly develops independent and confident young individuals.
