Glenn was a lifesaver, and I cannot recommend his shop enough. Our vehicle broke down while out of town driving out to see our family in another state, and we were really worried that we would not be able to make it there in time. Glenn spoke to us on the phone to see if there was anything we could diagnose beforehand, and then coordinated towing for us. Glenn did everything to make sure we could get back on the road as soon as possible, and kept us informed every step of the way. He explained the nature of the issue and the necessary repairs in a way that made sense and helped us to get our bearings in the situation. We stayed in the shop for a bit while they were inspecting the vehicle, and every single member of the staff was so friendly and respectful: we were probably offered a water or Gatorade by 3 or 4 different staff members in the time we were there. Glenn managed to get the repairs completed even earlier than we had initially anticipated, so we were back on the road in time not to miss our family. He even provided us notes and pictures of the issue so that we could take them back to the shop which had done previous work on our car and had it covered under warranty. Using the information he provided, we were able to get the repair covered by that warranty. My alternator went up and I called Glenn to see if he could tow my car and assess the situation let me know what was wrong how much and all that. Glenn towed the car and assessed the situation with no money upfront. He then gave me a discount on the tow and the lowest cost for parts and labor. I never thought I would say this in life. Glenn looked out he is an honest mechanic which is extremely rare. My repairs were under 700 for the alternator $365, labor $333 the tow $90 and 6 days storage no fee. The owner Glenn was very knowledgeable. He didnt just halfway tow it. People dont realize that towing your car/truck the wrong way can damage it further and they were great!!! Glen is awesome! My car broke down, entire electrical system went out and I was dead in the water. Called him up and he had a tow truck picking me up in ten minutes. When we got to the shop, I thought for sure I'd have to fork over a ton of cash for a new alternator. Glen took his time to look over the car and diagnose the problem - turned out to be a battery terminal issue, super cheap fix. Even got an oil change and patched a nail in one of my tires while we waited for the replacement part. At the end of the day with a tow, an oil change, and a replacement battery terminal, the price was very reasonable (~$160). There's a lot of other mechanics out there that would have just told me I need a new alternator and charged me thousands of dollars. Glenn was a knight in shining armor for my daughter and me. While traveling from DC to NYC, our car started making a horrible sound in the Baltimore area. We pulled over and searched for local mechanics. Glenn's wife (I think her name was Sue) was incredibly kind on the phone, and we drove to their shop. Glenn took care of everything in less than 10 minutes. Turned out a heat shield on the bottom of the car had come loose and was dragging on the road. Horrible sound. Glenn fixed it all quickly and handed over the keys-- no charge. We were stunned. Not only was he excellent at what he does, but his family-run business could not have been kinder to us. We were really stressed that our car had a huge mechanical issue, but this amazing couple offered us mechanical expertise, kindness and great integrity. I cannot say enough about this mechanic. I am having my car worked on today and the major reason I choose Glenn's is because while in the office getting a quote on the repairs to my car the owner's wife was very polite and talked to my daughter and I with nothing but respect and like she had known us for years (mind you we just meet in like the past 10 mins if that) while in the office the owner himself came in asked a few more questions about the car and was giving his wife some more info on the repairs to my car but was headed out to pick up a car in Salsbury MD that was the seller for me I said yto my daughter if they are having people from all the way up there pick up their car for repairs than they must be good. That really was the selling point for me and the fact they was quoting me a total repair price that is what friend was going to charge just in his labor that is just crazy Can't wait till I get the car back later on today and will leave another review. read more

This place is a local gem. I took my car in to them for the first time and quickly got a call back. They'd looked at the car and were recommending I take it to a specialist exhaust shop where they could fix the problem with a cheap weld, rather than replacing a whole piece which included the catalytic converter. I went in, they showed me the problem, and charged me nothing. They could have simply replaced that piece and charged me over a thousand dollars for it - I wouldn't have known any better. This is the most honest and decent repair shop I've ever dealt with. They have a customer for life in me. Fantastic people! read more
