It was only when done she very fakely said " so what do you do, blah blah". literally as she walked me to the front to leave. It was so rushed I said " what time do you guys close", thinking that I was causing her to be late for something. Well, I wasn't. Clearly she wanted to leave and made me feel exactly that way. I never said anything because I give people the bene of the doubt. Maybe a bad day? No. I saw the same Front office girl in southington and again tried to politely say hello, how are you. Only again to be met with an unwelcoming stare. The Newington office was fantastic all around. I wish I could remember the PA in front desk, girls name because they were both awesome! Very friendly, very professional, very welcoming. Here's where I am extremely upset and unhappy. I was enrolled in the monthly club and for the better part of the last year there were no issues. Now, the fact that I had a large large, some of money stolen out of my account., Is no fault of theirs clearly. About six weeks ago maybe longer I was told by one of the girls at the front desk in Southington that due to the full amount, not being able to be successfully deducted, that I was going to be charged full price With no etc., etc. Now I get it, it's a business, and obviously being a faithful, client that has referred many people and spent thousands and thousands of dollars Apparently does not make a difference in being lenient while I am going through personal issues with my bank and getting the finances cleared up due to the theft. I get that it's a business. I've been to multiple locations and their Southington location is just as great!! The ladies here are so friendly and all the estheticians are knowledgeable and don't try to upsell you on anything. This last visit, both hubs and I both needed a touch up again.. (we usually go together; he has always needed a touch up as well). While at the touch up and because I was already there, I asked for my bunny lines (nose scrunch lines) to get injected. The touch up was free, but obvi I would pay for the new units to nose. I then realized I was charged a $20 provider fee plus my $60 for units. I called the next day and inquired about the provider fee. We have never been charged for touch ups. I was told that because the injector (super nice) had to "inject a new area" I was charged. Mind you... she was already injecting me, and already had product ready. There was absolutely no difference besides me paying for even more units (which I asked for)... it's not like I made a new appt for a new service.. I was there because the initial service was insufficient. I didn't want to go back out and take time out of my family's day to do this on purpose, but my forehead looked a bit wild and needed to have it fixed, crows still scrunching too much... I cancelled my membership that day. When I politely questioned the pricing, the nurse practitioner seemed perplexed and a bit defensive, and the whole interaction felt sketchy and unprofessional. It really came across as if she was trying to get the most money possible, instead of focusing on fairness and honesty in her pricing. I remained very polite and calm during our conversation, simply explaining that I wasn't going to be overcharged. Having had Botox many times before, I know what fair pricing looks like. The entire experience felt more about profit than patient care. Right after leaving, I went to Bravo Medical Aesthetics, which is right around the corner, and the difference was night and day -- far better pricing, more professional, and an overall excellent experience.
