Absolute Investigative is a reputable company that I plan on continuing to do business with, however today I am writing this review to illustrate one of the most negative business experiences I've ever had. The experience has very little to do with Absolute Investigative and everything to do with a specific individual working at this location. I normally go to Bel Air or Towson Absolute, but because I was in the Essex area and I've never had a poor experience at any of the other locations I figured I'd get my fingerprints done at the Essex location. In order to specify who I am writing this review about... I was at this location on 6-June-2022 around 4pm and there were two employees working. One was a younger female who was in training to learn the job. The other employee was an older female with a nose ring who seemed to be the senior employee on duty. This is the individual I am writing this review about, I will refer to her as "the manager". The younger female helped me at the front desk when I arrived, she had a multitude of questions while I was at the front desk that she asked the manager. The manager never got up and answered all questions from behind the wall, refraining from getting up for just about anything. I had to get 4 fingerprint cards done today totaling $100, which for me is a fair sum of money to spend. The female in training didn't know what she was doing. This was apparent to me when she tried to use the black piece of plastic designed to hold the fingerprint card in place as the ink pad. After finding the ink pad she messed up the first card by fingerprinting the wrong hand. ALL OF THIS IS FINE, the problem to me is she obviously wasn't receiving any training from the manager. More-so when I asked the younger female to get a new card the manager grunted from behind the wall that I'd have to pay for a whole new card. She made the younger female put "white-out stickers" over the fingerprints that were done in error. I asked several times for a new card, however every time I was talked to like an idiot for wanting to do so. In my defense when you pay $100 for fingerprint cards (which are just pieces of paper) this is a small favor to ask. These cards accompany tax stamps worth hundreds of dollars that go to the ATF for review, so if they get denied due to inadequate printing it is a costly mistake that I don't get informed of until months after submission. If I had to sum up the "manager" discussed above I would use the words lazy, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I WILL NEVER go back to the Essex location due to this employee. I WILL go back to Bel Air and Towson Absolute in the future. I warn those who run the Absolute Investigative business chain and potential customers planning to visit the Essex Absolute about this employee. Her lack of professionalism when handling customers is disgraceful. Moreover the inadequate leadership and utter lack training that she was giving the younger employee was sad to me. It is one thing to be a low-life yourself, but when your toxic leadership and attitude stagnates fellow employees that is quite problematic. When it comes to a business that deals with sensitive information handling such as Absolute Investigative she absolutely not the type of person I would want associated with my business.

As I entered the donation area, I was once again, immediately greeted. Each person with which I interacted was VERY professional and courteous. I was seen almost immediately (in advance of my appointment time). The technician that took care of me (Ms. S) was one of the fastest and most polite people I have ever had the fortune with which to work (not that I did much). Her donation stick was painless and fast. She explained each step of the process and what to do and expect post donation. The 'recovery' canteen was bountiful. I took in my share of cookies and juices. Upon my departure, I was thanked again and given a t-shirt.

The welcome area and lobby are brand new, contemporary and quite beautiful. There was no one in the waiting area and from what I could see no donors were in the lab area. According to the Red Cross mobile app scheduling for that afternoon was wide open but I was having trouble scheduling via the app. Thought I could just walk-in and be assisted with scheduling by Red Cross staff. Not the case. The slovenly low-energy woman at the welcome counter was gloriously rude and unhelpful. Ended up leaving Mount Hope without donating and going to the York Road center a few days later. Stay away from Mount Hope if you can. They are miserable.

Keep your kids away unless you sign up for Christian fundamentalism. Not a safe place for LGBTQ+…read morekids or families. Our family experienced discrimination when they unenrolled our daughter when I kindly expressed concern about some things the director stated at orientation. They unenrolled her without any communication or conversation when I expressed concern and also stated that we are a LGBTQ+ and inclusive household. Keep your kids safe from this harmful and hateful place.make sure you read through the church doctrine before you enroll your child. It's very hidden on their website which makes their "outdoor camp" theme super misleading. .

My son just completed his 2nd year at camp rock and the camp is absolutely AWESOME! It's very active and I promise there is so much to do, my son never wants to leave! He goes to before care and aftercare. There are different packages to chose from when looking to enroll your child and it's worth every penny! Camp Rock is a clean and SAFE environment. I'm so thankful to Mrs. Julie and the entire staff at CAMP ROCK!
