This time when in need, they stepped up and was there for me. Online quote was easy and simple. Be sure to have your cars VIN # for the quote to be as accurate as possible. I shopped around with other glass vendors and not one best Safelite's quote. Appointment was easy to make after the quote and the service tech was communicative and very professional. I chose the mobile service and the glass replacement was done right in my driveway. The technician was on time, friendly, professional, organized and clean. He completed both appointments on my 2 cars in a timely manner. Super organized and cleaned up nicely and provided quality parts and service. Great price compared to other quotes and coupons available but you just have to find them. Only fee you'll see that was questionable was the glass recycling fee of $39.99 which is bogus in my opinion. I called to try to get it waived but they offered a discount so definitely worth a try to call for a better price reduction.

Technician was supposed to arrive between 8 and 12 and he arrived at 12:10, with an attitude. The repair time was supposed to be between an hour and two and he took 2.5 hours and at the end he didn't even complete the service!!!!! They said that they needed to calibrate it and they couldn't and then they wanted me to go to their location which is 35 min away from where I live to then wait for hours because they said they needed at least an hour to see if they can calibrate it. I said beforehand that I needed that to be quick because the only time I had was during my lunch break and there were like 6 people waiting and said it will take hours. WHY ADVERTISE AS A SERVICE THAT GOES TO YOU TO THEN MAKE YOU GO ALL THEY WAY TO THEM AND WAIT FOR HOURS???? AND after all, when I'm there, they say that if I don't do the calibration there, they just don't care because they make you sign a waiver before the do some work in your car. If you're looking for windshield replacement I recommend you finding a company that is near you in case "calibration" cannot be completed. My experience with him was short & sweet-- which is how I would like it to be when trying to fix a window from a break-in (aka let's get it over with so I move on w/my life). Too bad Jose doesn't own a restaurant or something-- he's the type of business owner I'd be a loyal returning customer to except in this scenario lol. I admired his work ethic-- he has a very laid-back, down-to-earth & sincere energy. It turned out my window was super complicated & he had underquoted me. He asked if I wouldn't mind paying a little more (10 bucks) & that at this point it would just cover his technician & he wouldn't make money off of it. I agreed because I can tell when ppl are being shammy & he was being genuine. They start to work on the door for a minute & realize it's the wrong window. My car is a Subaru Outback but it takes a Subaru Impreza window- WTH idk what that's about but certainly not their fault. Also, most windows are straight with 2 holes to bring it up & down-- my friends had warned me I had a complicated window which sure enough Jose & his technician confirmed. It had 6 holes, it curves & goes down & in (not to mention half my door is just window-- no frame around the perimeter). The point is, they could have just pulled the plug on the whole operation then. Jose is already just covering his technician, they're still booked for the rest of the day even though I made the appointment same-day & they fit me in (another perk). But instead of aborting, Jose insisted they complete the job (I could tell his technician was tired & probably wanted to move on). They chose to drive all the way from Buena Vista to Ft Lauderdale for the other window then come back to my place to replace it. No extra charge. Even though the job went from taking 40 minutes to 3 hrs for them w/the unnecessary traveling & gas expense. Overall Jose is a man of his word with great integrity & values as a business owner. Also, his technician used to work for SafeLight so you still get a highly trained & knowledgable person installing your window. Jose was reliable, easy to communicate with, reasonably priced (I paid $185), punctual, & above all provided stellar service which is highly unnecessary for a business where you most likely won't see your customers again. I salute & praise him & I hope this review brings him many clients & makes their glass repair experience hassle-free too. Thank you Jose! :)
