Before coming to Global Cellular, I had a very low opinion of third party repairs for iPhone. I've had a phone and an iPad done with third party screens and had them come back feeling and looking like crap. With a couple broken devices in my life (2 phones and 2 tablets), I wanted to try again. I started searching in Waterford, knowing there were several places in the mall. I made a few phone calls, but really the choice was easy: the reviews and the helpfulness over the phone made Global Cellular a simple pick. After I got to the kiosk and introduced myself, we peeled my shattered 6Plus out of the case that was holding it together. The screen was a MESS and the case itself was bent. Glad I'm not at Apple now, because it would be "replace this phone" time. He discussed a very reasonable price for me, kept my phone and told me it would be done within 90 minutes. I went off to do some shopping then checked back in, it was done in less than 60. He even tossed it in my new case for me and put my screen protector on (better than I could have!) My phone looks and feels like new. The glass he uses is perfect, the installation is seamless, and my phone is completely responsive to touch/swipe. I had a great experience at Global Cellular Repair. -At 3pm, I dropped my iPhone6 and broke the screen. -At 4pm, I called Global Cellular Repair. Their quote was ~$35 less than that of both an Apple store and a local phone store that would ship my phone off for repairs. Global Cellular promised it would take no more than 30 minutes. -At 5:30pm, I arrived at the mall. En route, another phone repair kiosk with no customers quoted me $10 less than Global Cellular. I continued walking to Global Cellular. Two customers were waiting and during the next 30 minutes 2 others came and left satisfied. When I asked why the other kiosk was cheaper, Tun said the quality of the glass. Given the business around Global Cellular and the positive on-line reviews, I stayed at Global Cellular. -At 6:00pm, despite considerable foot traffic/business, I walked away with a completely repaired phone within 30 minutes, as promised. I visited the Global Cellular Repair kiosk last Saturday after my LG G3 android phone started acting up. The screen would not "wake up," even though it was not cracked, and I did not drop my phone. I thought the phone was dead after trying a few tricks recommended by a Google search, but I brought it to Global Cellular repair as a last ditch effort. Not only did they fix my phone on the same day I brought it to them, but they did it for a very fair price!! He also warned me that the water damage the phone had sustained 2 months prior (my fault) was pretty severe and could cause the phone to malfunction again in the near future, so that I should back up my contacts and photos ASAP. He showed me pictures he had taken of the water damage as well, so that I knew what I was dealing with. A good honest guy and excellent work!! I work for pharmaceuticals and my work sometime involves travelling. Last week went for a meeting and dropped my HTC one on the concrete...long story short cracked screen. It was bad and looked awkward when I would pick up phones and calls came in. Called up pretty much most folks including HTC .... Eventually went to radio shack in Groton and they mentioned about kiosks in malls that offer such services. Looked up and found global cellular. I must say tunjai is very professional, knowledgeable and reasonably priced in his services. Very calm demeanor. The parts were ordered in about a couple days and then a few hours later my phone was ready. Got a tempered glasss and a casing for a very reasonable cost. Incredible work and highly recommended. As a matter of fact I am typing this from my now fixed phone now....Will keep them in mind for any future services. read more

I've been to other places, in this mall and others, and had my phone screen "fixed" just to have parts of the screen not respond to touch or have corners pop up away from the phone, but I have never had anything but great experiences at Global Cellular Repair. I've been going for 3/4 years (I tend to break my screen a lot) and recommend it over anywhere else. The time to get it fixed is quick (usually a half hour max) and they are very friendly and genuinely want to help you out. Like I said, I've broken my phone screen a ridiculous amount of times in the past few years and just went again last week. The screen was shattered and had colored bars/would black out at times and was clicking things for me and he completely repaired my screen! I went to the mall to get my phone fixed, my headphones broke in the phone. Stopped at 4 places who said absolutely not, it can't be fixed and proceeded to try and sell me a new phone. I stopped at global cellular and asked if it could be fixed and he was very polite and said that he would try. I returned back to him and he smiled and said you are all set. I was so pleased with the service, work he did, the price and his exceptional personality, I even gave him a tip. He was shocked and said no one has ever tipped me before. I have previously gotten my iPad fixed at a place somewhere other than global cellular and the screen they replaced it with wasn't even half the quality I received on my phone at global cellular. With global cellular, not only did they replace my iPhone 6 screen with a high quality screen but also fixed it right in front of me. The man at global cellular, I don't recall his name, was more interested in helping you fix your phone and concerned about your situation then anyone i know. He made sure my problem was fixed until he moved on to someone or something else. Tunji is the owner and and I stopped at his kiosk last year with my new iPad that I thought was not repairable. I had stopped first at the Apple Store and they were not able to help me; and Apple only offered to"buy back" my iPad for ALOT less than what I paid. Tunji fixed my iPad in LESS than an hour and it is good as new! I have 5 Apple iPhones on my family plan; and we also have 3 iPads in our family. Since my repair last year I have gone back to Tunji to repair 3 other iPhones we have cracked and thought were not repairable and Tunji did it. He is the BEST and I have never been disappointed! He fixed my phones within 20 minutes; and at a very reasonable cost. I will never trust anyone else with my apple products!! read more

My iPhone 6's screen was shattered and these guys made it look brand new. The damage to my phone was so bad that they were able to bend it back and replace the screen. No my phone works perfectly fine with minor flaws but it's basically perfect. The replacement took less than an hour. If you have a cracked screen I'm sure these guys can fix it. They will also let you know(depending on the damage) what they fill is the best solution and/or risks before they start working on the device. I gave 5 stars because of their customer service and quality of work. I did purchase a case that wore and tore rather quickly and Tun resolved the issue for me very promptly. My daughter's iPhone 7 Plus was beyond repair...at least that's what I thought until my niece recommend I go see TJ at Global in the Crystal Mall. What a nice, honest man and like he said to me...he's here to help. He fixed her phone in a couple hours and it was like new and saved me a ton a money on buying a new phone or getting it repaired at Apple. I don't know how he does it. If there is any problem with the phone after...no problem or worries. Just bring it right back and he will take care of it. If everyone knew about TJ at Global Cellular in the Crystal Mall they probably wouldn't stress as much when destroying their phone. I'm pretty convinced he can fix anything. read more

My iPhone 5 had began acting up about 2 months ago and it took about 2-3 hours for it to charge enough to turn back on. Yesterday, it finally decided to not even turn on. I took it to the Apple/Mac store where the woman informed me that the screen (that had been previously fixed before being in my possession) had been put on completely wrong to the point she couldn't even open the phone up to check the battery (which was swollen). She recommended me to Global Cellular, where he gave me an amazing price to fix the screen and replace the battery in under 15 minutes. I'm stunned. It works (and looks) brand new. All I can say is WOW! I lost all my photos on my corrupted SIM card. Frantic, I'd gone from computer stores to all the T-Mobile corporate stores in eastern CT and RI, with no luck. No one could read the card. Finally, I was directed to "TJ in the Crystal Mall and he was able to get into the card and save all my photos, and in the "Folders" I'd created, too! And he put them back onto my phone, and onto a new SIM card and external drive too! Was it cheap?? No, but so totally worth it to save all my family and travel photos. He's a genius!! I can't begin to express my gratitude to Global Cellular!! I use my phone consistently for work and is my lifeline to my pay. My phone was not charging fully and I was losing my charge quickly for what battery life I did have! I brought my phone in to Global Cellular and after many hard working hours TJ ( Tuncay) miraculously brought my phone back to life thankfully! I am rating this 5 stars because of a couple reasons. First off I would recommend this business over any other ones int he crystal mall. One major reason is the customer service; the customer service here was great. They understood that I needed my phone repaired quickly and they got the job done with ease. I would also recommend this more than "Mr Fix it" because today I saw the owner and a customer get into a heated argument so I left left as that was happening. I needed my phone to be enabled again. It was a very hard process he worked all day repeatedly trying to fix it, at a time we thought it might not even be possible to fix since the phone wasn't cooperating at all. But He didn't give up and he did a great job! I came back right when the mall closed hoping my phone wouldn't be disabled anymore & it wasn't!! He fixed it perfectly, even made sure my photos, contacts , all that wasn't erased. Great costumer service I would recommend anyone to Global Cellular! This place is amazing! The honesty and integrity of the owner knows no bounds. My iPhone 6 was stolen 7 months ago and recently was brought to this business to be activated. The owner recognized this as a stolen phone and convinced the customer to contact me to verify. He then convinced him to turn the phone into him. He returned the phone to me at his own expense!!! Global Cellular Repair is amazing. I wrecked the display assembly in my S6 yesterday and the device was totally unresponsive. Getting my phone up and running quickly was my top priority, and of course I didn't want to spend a mint in the process. It turned out they had the part in stock and had the job completed in an hour! And the fee was more than fair. I don't think the service representative's manager at the Verizon store across the mall would be very happy knowing their employee referred me to Global, but I'm glad he did. best service I stopped here to repair the screens on my Samsung S7. The LCD and top screen were cracked terribly. I was told to go to this stand in the Crystal mall to global by the store where I purchased the phone. The service was fast and the employee was polite. He provided a thorough explanation of the problem and a fair price. I researched the prices after he diagnosed the problem and do not feel I was overcharged at all. He was able to fix the phone within 45 minutes because he knew I did not live close by and was going to wait for the repair to be completed. read more

I often break my phone and I have tried 3 of the cell phone repair places in the mall. By far Global Cellular took care of me the best! My most recent vist he took my phone for days and really took care of my phone and repaired all the damage "mister fix it " did to my phone which was the worst work I received for my iPhone 6. He not only brought my phone back to life, he was honest, he gave me options and he was efficient. You won't have to come back 3 and 4 times just to get your phone back working like new.
