The egg custard enhanced the flavor of the onions and bits of smoked ham. Again, not dried out. Going back to the crust. Honestly, it could have been it's own breakfast or treat. It tasted like a fresh baked shortbread cookie without the sugar. I can not say enough good things about my experience here. The Executive Chef came out to talk to us too. She was incredibly humble, personable, and professional. She loves what she does. You can tell it's not a "job" for her, but a calling. You only hear about places like this being in fine dining magazines or on TV in France or Italy lol!
