The overall experience was really easy. The hardest part was trying to schedule an appointment and finding a time when I would be at the airport where they had an appointment available. I also walked around a little bit looking for the enrollment center. But once that was done the appointment was smooth sailing. Please know where to go when you are trying to find this place. Go to the spot where passengers arrive and exit customs from international arrivals in DFW terminal D. If you know where that is, you are good to go. Come into the building, and turn left while facing the international arrivals exit and you will immediately see a sign for the Global Entry enrollment center. I was in here for 2 minutes after making an appt. So easy, just took a quick photo and they took finger prints and I was out.

Directions: Drive to Terminal D International Arrivals & park in the free two hour parking. After you park, walk in the main doors, make a right and keep going straight until you see the Global Entry sign. The staff was friendly & the overall process, with the exception of the waiting period was quick and painless. My only complaint is that they should call you back in the order in which you arrive. I was the first person to arrive (and I waited for over an hour) but I ended up being the fourth person that they called back. read more

Extremely fast and friendly They opened right on time You better go to the counter first because they don't have visibility into who was waiting beforehand. They will call the groups and you need to be ready first. You could wait an hour before and someone who just showed could couod be in front of you if you do not situate yourself accordingly. Process: I drove through the ticket only lane, I went to terminal D arrivals, and I parked in 2 hour free parking in terminal D gates 1-22. I walked in and turned right, keep going all the way straight, do not get on the escalators. You'll see the global entry sign after walking straight for awhile. Location was not difficult to find. Like other reviews mentioned, terminal D ground level near gates D1-D22 in international arrivals. Park on the free parking garage. When I got conditionally approved for global entry, there was zero availability at DFW. I continued checking frequently and was able to get an appointment at 5:45pm on a Thursday (they have extended hours on certain days). There wasn't a single soul there when I arrived around 30 minutes earlier than my scheduled time and I was immediately helped. Quick, smooth, and painless! Compared to other airports, DFW airport has plenty of available interview spots during the week. Location: Not too difficult to find. Around gates D1-D22 on the lower level (Arrivals) of the International terminal, follow signs that say "Enrollment Center" to a small hallway that branches off the area where people are greeting friends and family who just landed. Process: Go through the door that says Homeland Security and check in with the front desk - they seem to call people by order of arrival so the sooner you check in the better. Wait in the hallway until someone calls you in. My interviewer looked at my passport, asked for my home address, asked if I had ever been arrested, took a photo of me, scanned my fingerprints, and sent me on my way! Service: My interviewer was polite and patient. My interview was scheduled for 4:45 pm on a Thursday. I was called in a bit late but the interview itself took under 3 minutes and I was out the door by 5 pm. read more

We had our in-person interview for Global Entry Cards in December but accidentally left our passports at home (my fault). We live 4 hours away. Everything was done at the in-person interview except taking pictures of our passport. At the time, we were told that all we needed to do was bring our passports back by, without an appointment, present ourselves at the front window and the passport verification would be quickly done. The web site said that you would be closing at 3 pm on Friday. We were there at 3pm but you were not, so another 8 hour round trip was wasted. Others were there before 3pm as well, and they also stated that you were not there as promised by your web site. Citizens of the US deserve better treatment than this by US Government personnel. read more

After receiving conditional approval, I scheduled the soonest available interview which was multiple months away. About two weeks before my interview they cancelled my interview and made me reschedule it at least one more month out. My interview date finally comes and I show up to the airport 45 minutes before my interview time. Following google maps to terminal D, I arrive at some toll booths on the road with the options of "Code", "toll tag" or "ticket". I didn't have a code, I don't have a toll tag and I don't have a plane ticket. Assuming this was for departures only, I drove around trying to find an arrivals area. After driving around for 15 minutes to no avail, I called the phone number that they provide on the application. No one answers and it forwards me to a full voicemail (this means that they never answer the phone or check the voicemail). Throughout my experience I called them a total of 10 times, they never answered. While driving around and trying to call them, I ended up being 15 minutes late to my interview. At which point I decide to google the main DFW airport phone number. After talking to DFW operations, they explain that the "ticket" toll booth did not mean plane ticket (were at a freaking airport.... what other ticket am I supposed to think it means?) and that I should go through there. At this point I'm 45 minutes late to my interview, with around a 15 minute drive to exit the airport and go back to the main entrance (where the toll booths are). Assuming that they wouldn't let me interview 1 hour late, I left with the intent to reschedule it again. As soon as I got to work, I went to the TTP website to reschedule and now it won't offer me any interview times at DFW and I'll need to drive 3+ hours to Austin for an interview. This is absolutely ridiculous. You guys need to answer your phone. read more

Easy + Quick + Professional + to the Point + DONE! The directions on previous reviews were VERY helpful so I'll repeat them here... Park in 2hr parking (free) on level one (Arrivals), near gates D1-D22 of the International terminal. There are signs for "Enrollment Center", follow them. As you walk you'll see seats lined up against the windows, you have arrived. Go through the door that says Homeland Security. It is closed and all these people are sitting in the chairs so it feels like a trick, but the door is unlocked. Go in and check in with the front desk - they definitely call people by order of arrival NOT by your appointment, although if you don't have an appointment good luck! Wait in the hallway until someone calls you in. They checked the paperwork I was told to bring (passport), verified my address, asked a couple questions, took my fingerprints and explained what to do when my card arrived in the mail. My card arrived quickly and the instructions on how to activate it were easy to follow. Good luck! read more

This is where you come for the final, interview portion, of the Global Entry application. Successfully finding this office must be part of the security hurdles needed to prove your worthiness for the Global Entry program. The directions provided to get here amount to "somewhere in terminal D at DFW." After stopping to ask directions, I arrived at the pre-check office, which isn't where you want to be. By following the instructions given there, I made it to a nondescript Homeland Security-badged door. That had to be it; nope, not it. I pressed on until catching sight of the 50 people sitting outside a huge sign that confirmed I'd found where I needed to be. Now the wait. There's a friendly receptionist to check you in...and let you know the nice chairs in the waiting area aren't to be sat upon until you're called in; they're the second-wait chairs, I guess. I was finally called in for my appointment 45 minutes late, which is disappointing considering the specificity of their appointment system (and lateness policy). Once in the process is a painless digital photo and fingerprinting. The agents are actually very friendly. If you've read this far and still need to find this place, here are the best directions I can give: - Drive to Terminal D arrivals (ground) floor drive - park in International Arrivals, in a free 2-hour garage spot - enter the terminal and make a left, walk 'till you see the big overhead sign, or a long line of bored people pecking at their phones. read more

The person taking my entry put my date of birth as the same day I was applying for global entry and it has really messed up all my TSA pre approved. When I just had TSA there was no problem! But now I get denied each time. So I went back to Global Entry and they told me it was correct on THEIR website so I shouldn't have any problems. So why am I still having problems? Super quick and easy once you're there. My interviewer was really nice. Like was mentioned before, it's not the easiest to find. To expand on what was said I would park on Level 1 in Terminal D. Once inside the terminal, turn to the left and walk straight until you've walked past the international exit and then begin looking ahead. That was so painless that I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. I applied for Global Entry on a Saturday night. I received Conditional Approval on the following Thursday. I opened the available appointment dates and was delighted to find the next Monday on the list! From start to finish, the whole process took me 10 days! (June 2017) When I selected my interview time, I noticed interview times ranged between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm. I also saw that several days that were completely blocked out, mostly Friday-Sunday, but some other days were also mixed in that didn't seem to coincide with holidays. read more

Due to the government shutdown, this office is temporary closed. The officers at this location has always been great to communicate with. I stopped by a few weeks ago to discuss what I need for my passport updates the officer provided all the necessary information. Hopefully they will re-open this office soon. read more

Their website says they open at 7am for walkins with no appointment. We got there at 7am, along with 5 others, and sign said interviews start at 8am. Door was closed and locked. No one answered when we knocked. We heard people talking but no answer. Finally they opened at 7:52am. Either update hours on website or open at 7am, be respectful of peoples time. read more

Here's another shoutout for the Global Entry people at DFW as well as the people who man (and woman) the information desk who helped me get from the arrival level down to where the GOES office is adjacent to the exit for International Arrivals. (Other reviewers' navigation entries are accurate; you can also look to navigate to the Au Bon Pain kiosk adjacent to the corridor where the GOES office is located) It probably will take one longer to get to the GOES office than for your actual interview or update. As a walk in, I needed to have several entries updated on my GOES card and within 13 minutes (including about 5 minutes of waiting time in the first come/first served seating area just outside the GOES office) everything was processed. My friend and I called 18 times over five days. They never once answered the phone. We left six voicemail messages. They never returned even one of them. They do NOT allow walk ins. The receptionist that doesn't want to complete very basic receptionist activities was not helpful at all. Wasted the $100 application fee and the hour and a half round trip.
