I am very disappointed in my purchase experience with Global Fitness. Unfortunately Gabby had made dealing with the company very unpleasant. I purchased a used VKR, when I inquired with her about its condition she ignored many of my inquiries and reluctantly I decided to go ahead with delivery to inspect the item in person hoping for the best. Gabby at first told me that the delivery would take 4 weeks because the padding needed to be replaced, and when I inquired what was wrong with the padding & I asked if it would be replaced with the original manufacturers padding to which she ignored. She then proceeded to retract her previous statement, and said that nothing was wrong with the pads after all. Unfortunately, when the item arrived it was in pretty bad condition. Far more things were wrong with the item including the padding, missing parts, rust and water damage, handles were coming off and had no stable hold to them, and the machine itself suffered from instability. As much as I wanted the item, I could not accept it in its condition. Later after I refused delivery I received a call from Gabby. Instead of asking what she could do to make things right, it was clear that Gabby conducts business with a hostile attitude and lack of friendliness and customer service. She then made it clear that she wanted to charge me for the delivery even though this was never communicated to me as part of the deal - even when I asked her what the stipulations were in the event I was unhappy with the item and inquired about a refund (again to which she did not respond to and completely ignored). Ultimately, Gabby herself has made this an unnecessary and unpleasant experience with her bad attitude and terrible communication skills. I regret taking a chance with this company. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else where you and your money are respected and appreciated. I wish I would have. read more

I purchased a refurbished SciFit Recumbent stepper on Jan 21, 2025 and received the stepper at my home on March 28, 2025. The stepper was delivered with a seat that did not function properly. The rest of the stepper looked and worked fine. That same day I took a video of the seat and sent an email to the salesman who on March 31 passed it on to customer support. Although it took 4+ months, due to less than stellar customer support, I was able to get a new upgraded seat (Standard to Premium) at a discounted price. I suspect I received a discounted price for the new seat to make up for the longer than usual time it took to resolve the problems with my stepper. I would have given 5-stars if it wasn't for the long resolution time. read more

The best! Was a little weary from looking for the exercise bike I like from the gym I go to? Totally lucked out finding Global Fitness. Todd made it easy. Told him what I was looking for and the range, he found one for a great price, made an invoice, I went down and picked it up. The machine looks and works great! Couldn't be happier/more greatful. If you pick your exercise machine(s)up yourself be sure to use the second driveway, let them know you're there and get buzzed in through the motorized gate that leads to the loading docks. I bought a machine from this company and had it shipped to me. When I received it, it wasn't working properly. After describing in details what was going on and sending a video they were able to send the new part and a service tech to install it at my home. It is now working perfectly! I love my new exercise machine and would order from them again. Even when the tech came out he said the inside of the machine was very clean and even tho it was used it looked brand new. read more

Heard about them because their founder Michael has donated equipment to multiple charity organizations I work with, and has created exceptional quality weight rooms in parts of LA that don't always have that luxury (such as Watts Empowerment Center). He's also done the equipment at the boxing gym I go to, and a fitness club I almost joined (Heimat), and the machines are top notch. Their quality, customer service, and commitment to the community (including creating loads of jobs in a part of LA that's seen massive factory shutdowns in recent years) has made them one of the best, most honest businesses in LA. I ordered a used Precor machine from Global Fitness in May of this year. After having the machine for less than a week, the display started giving me an error code, and the machine did not work. I checked the user manual (I found online) and the problem was related to a faulty wire. When I opened the machine up to see if it was unplugged, I found that the wire was corroded and stripped. When I attempted to contact customer support, they did not respond despite being quick to reply before I had issues with the machine. Now, after paying out of pocket to replace that wire, the machine is breaking again--I checked the left foot piece where it was having problems and again, it's missing key parts and/or parts are loose, which is what is causing the issue. I'm super disappointed because they even claim to have spent time checking the machine to verify that all of the parts were in working order, yet they didn't even put electrical tape around the stripped wires?? it's hard to believe that they checked the machine at all. read more

Update!!! They informed me that the delay was because they were short staffed due to covid-19. Once they started communicating daily they earned my trust back and we got it delivered safe and sound. I uploaded another picture of what was actually delivered it didn't technically match what was originally shown in the purchase picture but it was a perfect machine and completely worth every penny . So if you order with them dont expect super fast delivery but expect to get what you pay I ordered a piece of equipment Aug 17th-2020 and received an email telling me id receive a phone call and email confirming the order. I never received a phone call or email arranging the delivery. Ive called 4 times now and have gotten through only 2 times. The same lady promises me she will send pictures of the product so i can reconfirm the order so they can deliver it and She never followed through. I work very hard for the money i make and i work all week long its very difficult to call them during their business hours. This was back in the summer of 2020 during the start of Covid. I was building out a home gym and needed a brand-name refurbished elliptical. My order originally got lost in the weeds and there was a mix-up in the sales department. My original order didn't get processed or the unit was no longer available. The owner reached out and apologized and offered an upgraded unit, a refurbished planet fitness machine. I had it shipped from Los Angeles to Texas and got it in great shape. Been using the machine for a while now. I'm planning to move back to Los Angeles this summer and will be adding more equipment soon, I wouldn't hesitate to order from these guys again. read more

My fitness coach suggested I buy a treadmill from these guys and did all the communicating with them directly. I gave my credit card info and we scheduled a date for delivery about 5-6 weeks later because I was going out of town. They said "we can make that happen" for a delivery on the week of my return, so I scheduled movers to come on Saturday to get it into the house. My fitness coach reached out the Thursday prior to check-in about it and they said that the treadmill had not "passed muster for sale" and that the sales rep had "missed an email from the technician" saying so. He offered to upgrade to a more expensive treadmill. I was already over-budget on it, so I asked for them to, instead, refund me the $200 I was out for the movers who make you pay when you late-cancel. Nope AND they tried to blame my coach saying "you should have waited to schedule the movers," even though they were so gung-ho and affirmative about the delivery window we requested in order to make the sale. Don't support businesses who don't take responsibility for their mistakes, then blame customers for it. read more

Buyer Beware. I ordered a spin bike that was supposedly "in stock" on their website. I also ordered their delivery service . Afterwords, they came back saying it was going to be 2 to 3 weeks due to Covid, Which I wasn't happy with since I bought it in stock, but "OK", I will live with it since well dealing with the business challenges with Covid. Then after three weeks with no update and several calls, they tell me it's going be another few weeks. Finally they say it's on the delivery truck only to not deliver it saying that there's some issue with my card. I checked my card there's been no transactions even attempted, So that was a lie. I asked to speak to the owner, who was supposed to call back , but did not happen. Lousy run business and horrible customer service. I bought my spin bike bike elsewhere. I ordered a Life Fitness treadmill about two years ago. It came with a warranty, but I paid more for an extended one. I was unlucky initially as I became frustrated with various problems I had. Some of them likely were initially caused by the shipper. Trying to have it repaired in Florida in a small beach town was challenging since Global Fitness is located in California. But I have to give the company credit. They sent out a regional treadmill repair company to essentially nearly rebuild my treadmill as the motor was initially problematic and then a few other issues came up. During the course of resolving these issues, the owner, Roy Greenburg, called and helped to expedite the repairs and component replacements. I have no doubt that this is a challenging business with lots of competition and thin margins. What started out initially as a frustrating experience turned into a solid one, and I am grateful to this company for standing by their word and honoring the warranty. Two years later, I have an excellent treadmill in great working condition and a company that stands behind its products. Good companies can only succeed with great owners/executives who set the example. I would not hesitate to work with this company again. They sell good products at very good prices, and the owner runs an excellent company dedicated to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this company. read more

I bought my first star trac refurbished treadmill from Global Fitness 17 years ago! It got steady daily use and I had no issues with it until it just got too worn out. I went back today and purchased a CLST life fitness treadmill after getting some great advice and customer service from Nick.
