I had an absolutely amazing experience at Global Gold & Silver! I went in on the recommendation of a friend a couple of months ago to looks for rings with my now future sister in law; I talked with Oshri and Maurice. They were extremely kind and helpful; never having bought a ring like this before, they walked me through everything from start to finish. They explained the differences between the quality of stones, showed me all sorts of different settings and styles, all while being very patient and thorough. After going through everything in the store and not finding something we thought my now-fiance would enjoy, they even offered to make a custom ring from scratch! We read good reviews about this business online and had so much old, broken, outdated gold and silver jewelry to sell. Maurice spent so much time with us, weighing each piece, explaining our options, offering a very fair price, helping us make choices on a few old things with sentimental value that we could spruce up with different settings or adjustments. So our results were: - very fair price to sell our gold and silver - for no charge some minor repairs and a new glass crystal for an old watch - a old estate ring with some sentimental value transformed into a beautiful necklace by resetting the stone into a simple slide setting on a chain And his partner Oshri (not sure of the name, but the point-man for rings) came in to sit with us, and help us make decisions about some old estate rings - which to sell, which to keep and how to make a beautiful new ring which I am so excited about. If you want to deal with good, honest people then you should check Global Gold & Silver out. My 88 year old dad happened to be parked near this establishment when he found that his car key remote was not working and he was unable to gain access to his car. Knowing that some watches use similar batteries as these car remotes do, he decided to stop in at Global Gold & Silver to see if he could purchase a battery for his remote. The gentleman (I believe his name was Maurice) who helped my dad was a "gem" of a guy! He found a battery that would be appropriate for my father's key remote, placed it into the remote, and accompanied my dad outside of his store to see if the remote worked properly. It did!! When my dad tried to pay this gentleman for the battery and his services, he would not take any money for it. Truly an act of kindness!! I am so grateful for the way in which Maurice treated my dad that the next time I need to purchase a piece of jewelry it will be from this establishment. Awesome service!!! I was really nervous about going to a store to sell my gold because most places I have been too seemed scary and/or dangerous since these people are usually behind glass windows. However, Global Gold and Silver was nothing like that. It is a really nice jewelry store and you can just walk up to the counter and be helped by someone right away. There are no glass windows, just really nice people that talk to you face to face in an honest and respectful matter. A gentleman named Elad helped me and he seemed really trust worthy, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about their service. I am not too familiar with the whole process of testing the gold but he was kind enough to explain everything step by step so I understood exactly how he came to the price he was offering me. They also happen to have offered me the best price as I had tried 2 other gold stores prior to them and it was clear that the other stores were trying to rip me off. This wasn't my first time selling gold, but it was my first time at Global Gold & Silver. This wasn't my last time selling gold, but it is the last time I spend hours shopping around for the best prices. I found them. My usual routine for selling gold involves checking the price of gold for that day and then going from one Gold Buying place to the next to find the best price. I did this the other day, trying to sell some old bracelets and pendants to make extra Cash for holiday shopping. Global was the 5th store I walked into that day. Steve greeted me with a smile and explained the entire process to me (i usually play dumb and pretend its my first time to see how honest these guys are.) He tested all of my gold, explained to me the testing process, he weighed everything and show me the scale very clearly. But the best thing about my experience with Steve is that he offered me more than $100 over the highest price of that day. I was expecting maybe 20-30-40 but no Steve's offer was $105 higher than the highest price i got that day. My only regret that day was not finding this place sooner. read more

I found out about Global Gold & Silver over 15 years ago through a friend and met Oshri. I had a Movado watch that Oshri put diamonds around the face for me and I couldn't have been more than satisfied. I still have that watch today, diamonds still intact. wow, amazing customer service, great knowledge in luxury timepieces. I went in a few weeks ago to get my vintage Rolex DJ that i bought on ebay appraised and to make sure it was authentic & new as stated. Maurice-the owner and his assistant was very nice and helpful. He took his time to inspect and accurately appraised it, helpful with tips and explained every detail of the watch. The store is legit nicely decor but not overwhelming and service was great! They didnt try to up sell and genuinely cared about providing a comfortable experience. I met Maurice Maman last Friday, May 12th when I went to the store to inquire about the possibility of repairing a silver bracelet with which my eldest daughter gifted me. Maurice, very frankly told me that if he attempted to fix the bracelet, it would damage it even more! I truly appreciated his honesty and forthright manner! Maurice is awesome! Came in to size down two rings and they did such a super job I came back for another. Found my spot for Jewelry repairs for life. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very talented. I bought in two chain rings to get resized and one regular solitaire style. Most other jewelers in the area turned the chained pieces away or charged a ridiculous amount. Not here! The rings look great, they polished each of them and the craftsmanship is superb. You legitimately cannot tell where the repair happened. And you can tell they repurposed the gold they took off, they are just as thick as before (the solitaire is literally thicker at the band). I recently sold some gold to Global Gold & Silver yesterday. After shopping around for the BEST price i wound up making a deal with the owner himself, Steven. He was very HONEST and VERY FAIR. He had explained to me in detail about what the current market value of gold per ounce and also explained what test he was performing to check to see if the gold was real. He was also extremely helpful with providing me with some ideas in regards to using some of the diamonds that i made him take out of 1 of the rings i sold to make a pendant or something else out of them. I never write reviews but felt compelled to let people know how great the service and quality is. I worked directly with Oshri who helped me and my now husband select wedding bands. Both my husband and I have busy scheduled so leave it up to us to wait until last minute to select our wedding bands.
