We bought a 2011 Jeep Compass from Action Resales last year with approximately 95k miles on it for…read moreabout $7k. It was inspected, but a year later, we need over $12k to have it re-inspected with a transmission issue. We drove the car less than 2k and then the transmission went out, in addition, we were told that it would cost $6k more in repairs to have it pass inspection. With the transmission going out so quick, it would be $10k+ in repairs. We were only using the car as a backup. At the time we bought the car, we knew it needed new tires, but we didn't realize that due to rot and rust, the bottom of the car was junk. Harrell Automotive which looked at the car, basically said there was no way the car went this bad this fast without the previous owner knowing. We did call Action Resales, the owner stated that there was nothing about this in the inspection report and except that the tires and brakes needed replaced soon. He stated they don't do their own inspections so wouldn't have known about the issues. So we're posting pictures and a report from Harrell Automotive. If you are buying a car here, please Please PLEASE make sure to have it looked at by someone you trust. Otherwise, you could be like use and be out thousands of dollars. Because we didn't get it checked out within the 6 month warranty window, we now have to junk the car and we lost $7k. Update: As of 7/30/24 the company is working with me to find a resolution.

Had to schedule some vacation days to leave my car with Gary Miller Dodge Service Deptartment weeks…read morein advance. Ive had voltage dropout on my power steering when driving at low rpm and lost comms with TCM and other modules. Inconsistent voltage from day to day (some days are 14.3-14.5v, and some days are averaging 14.7-14.8) which ive been told could be a bad connection with the alternator power harness (68266467AA im assuming but what do i know). Since the initial TCM dropout Ive noticed a lack of front wheel torque on my awd system. The guys at the service center ran some quick witech diagnostics and then sat in the parking lot idling my car not testing any of the conditions which i described when i set up the appointment. Whole thing is on my 4 way dash cam. Havent watched it all yet but im currently watching the part where the mechanic is making speculations about the old cb radio harness and light controller pigtail (doesnt connect to anything) present in my center console and digging around in the area which is of no consequence to the work I needed done all the while making false assumptions about various components. You can clearly hear them joke about charging me for diagnostics then denying me service and sending me on my way. Keeps trying to impress the younger dude with his defeatist mentality. Nothing to do with the alternator or ptu simply rooting around in my car looking for excuses to do nothing. He even grumbles about my push button starter saying it is aftermarket, when it is a simple all-red decal over the stock button. All the mechanics in this place and I get stuck with this guy?? At the end of the video the guy finally moves my car again into a different parking spot in the lot and as he does so you can even hear him go "What the -- is that sound?" as he turns the wheel at low rpm. At which point he parks the car, leaves my center console and armrest all torn apart and they call me to pick it up. As i left the shop my car's electrical system cut out on me before I was halfway home. They charged me 180$ to burn 20$ of my fuel, making zero changes to my car and leaving me in a dangerous situation on the bayfront.

"JAY FRO" a salesman sold me a 2021 VW Tiguan with a crack in the windshield! It was raining outside, therefore I could not notice it. I called him personally and left texts repeatedly but of course he would not help! I do not recommend buying a car from them!! I had so many people telling me not to go there but I believe in giving dealerships a fair chance. NEVER EVER AGAIN
